The Crowley Game!

Note: This game is a Conformity, Inc.-sanctioned activity. Offended? Get over it. Or take it up with [Avoral]. Either works; you'll cry yourself to sleep either way, you whiny Satanist you.

It's time for The Crowley Game! Yay! In this game, horrible conformist pigs like you and me butcher, maim, and warp the collective life's work of leading Satanists such as Aleister Crowley and Anton LaVey. Points will be awarded to whoever makes the best mockery of Satanic faith and doctrine loosely based on the point system of "Whose Line is it Anyway?" So, without further ado, let's begin with the obligatory FAQ.

The Obligatory FAQ
When will I be recognized?
No entry that sucks will be featured for longer than it takes for me to notice it. This process can take anywhere from the blink of an eye to the span of the universe's age; life is taken into account in creating this figure, as well as my possible death at any given moment due to meteorite strikes or terrorist attacks on rural America. However, as my attempts at gaining immortality seem to be working thus far--I've not died once my whole life--I'll check it when I get to it.
I wanna corrupt this work of literature or poetry SO bad, but it's not featured on here! How do I get started on it?
Good question, you crafty little weasel. Since I am a lazy bastard, I'm halfway relying on you all to research them, unearth the stuff, and post it to me. I'll have some of it, but I've got no intention of poring through the Satanist's Bible for segments I can find humor in, nor will I plunge deep into esoterica to unearth Crowley's 10th-grade poetry notebook. Thus said, the process is simple: Create a wiki, call it by the name of the work, and tack on a synonym of "remade." "Revamped," "rehashed," "regurgitated," "reborn," "subjected to the badass light of Avoral's genius," or anything of the like are possible words you can throw in there. But remember, though conformity is a good thing, creativity is golden here. Name it as you wish, primarily. Anyway, from there, you can submit them to me, and I'll either post them myself or haphazardly give you my password for the wiki in the hopes that reverting to past pages will prove to be an effective method of combating would-be wiki-corrupting wanks.
What do you guys have against Satanists?
Making fun of them is high-class entertainment, plain and simple.

Thus said, let's begin with
Hymn to Lucifer Reloaded, as a sort of preliminary trial. Let's see if it can be done.

2006-08-12 [ueryurwt]: Gentelmen, having not been around for some time, would it be redundant of me to state that one of the main beliefs of satanism is to do things for oneself and only for your own personal gratification? Holding this statement to be true, do you think it rather dicotomous of our satanic friends to stand in a circle and worship satan?

2006-08-12 [iippo]: Maybe the dilemma there comes from the fact that satanism isn't Satan-worshipping...? At least in Finnish they're two different things, not sure of these English terms. As far as I've understood, satanists worship nothing, if not only themself as a form of divinity, and satan-worshippers deal with the Christian devil/satan...

Someone else can probably be more accurate in this, Avoral or Deladreing or someone I recall having this discussion somewhere.

2006-08-12 [Delladreing]: You just about hit the nail on the head there [iippo]. When I am not at work I will pull up the link on it.

2006-08-12 [Lost in Illusions]: I've read plenty on Satanism, and at the basis, you're right, [iippo]. Satanism isn't Satan-worshipping at all; it's merely self-serving and worshipping all those that Christianity and Judaism (among other religions) call "deviant" and "evil." I'd be more into this if I weren't so tired and disconnected from life.

2006-08-12 [Delladreing]: I believe in Satanism there is a worship of spirits to bring about gain for the self, but there in no worship of the Christian personification of Evil which is the Devil, where as Satanists do worship the Devil, that is basically the only way I can think of it right now. I'm basically resaying what [iippo] said. And the idea of them standing in a circle, eh, it can happen, if the whole group wants something and it would be beneficial for them all to participate then yes they probably would do it.

2006-08-12 [iippo]: where as Satanists do worship the Devil
You mean satan-worshippers?
o.O *hugs flu-ey dela* ... *sprays self with anti-bacteria stuff* ^^; No offence. :3

2006-08-12 [Delladreing]: ...thats what I meant yes.
meh .__. I can't think or do anything like this *hugs the iippo from behind her radiation suit*
Today at work I made and overing on the cashier register for £16032.95 XD My boss went insane >.>

2006-08-12 [Lost in Illusions]: did she let you keep it?

2006-08-12 [Delladreing]: Unfortunately not no. Wish she had >.>

2006-08-12 [Lost in Illusions]: I'm always over on my register at work.. the other day, I was 93$.. I would have loved to keep that.

that was also the day that she offhandedly accused me of stealing from the register.

2006-08-12 [iippo]: Ah, feeeeel the trust. :3 And it has absolutely nothing to do with your pink hair or leather jacket or torn jeans, really... muttermuttermutter *old young person rantage*...

2006-08-12 [Delladreing]: XD eh happens. My boss thought I stole £100 once. Then she found it in the safe -.-

2006-08-12 [ueryurwt]: I am afraid there is a form of confusion here:
Satanist: n. one who lives for oneself
Satanist: n. one who worships the devil

The people that I am finding amusement with are those that call themselves Satanists but are in fact Satan worshippers (second definition)- you know, those 'disillusioned' people that take the Emo a little too far. They say that they live for themselves, that these 'rituals' work in spreading evil, and by doing that they gather and harness power to use to their own means. This I find as laughable.  I have had satanists pour goat's blood on my car and put 'curses' on me (used to be friends- then I became a Christian.) Ironically enough, my car is actually running better than it did originally, though that could simply be the fact that there's twice as much duct tape in the engine now than when that event happened... But I digress. My point is that these people profess to be gathering this power for themselves, but in fact they are merely worshipping evil incarnate. I laugh at their depression and their altars to Manson.  MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

2006-08-12 [Delladreing]: The that is just simply stupidity and they dont realise it.
Same with Wiccans who believe there is nothing like the dark side to the energies they invoke in a circle. But meh.

2006-08-13 [iippo]: Ah, misuse of terms. That happens with almost every definition that exists. Some say they are "goths" when they're not, some say they're this or that and a duck while not acting like it (those "omg wicca=cool me=cool me=wicca" -people are a good example, who do it for appearances, and don't take it seriously as a religion)...
Some people call themselves Christians too, while conveniently forgetting to act like ones.

2006-08-13 [ueryurwt]: No shit. I sincerely despise those who go around condemning every sinner in the world and then turn around and screw some harlot because his wife doesn't want any that night. And those guys in the ghetto who kill each other yet wear a crucifix.... The list goes on, and I pity them all.

2006-08-20 [Avoral]: Ooh, something happened here. Remind me of this when I'm on again.

2007-06-04 [Nazarath.93]: The crowley game? Your so against satanism that you attack one who is not?
First off Crowley considered himself a freemason, and studied closley the teachings of the occult.
Second, none of his gods or spirits he believed in were associated with satan in anyway.
So if anything he would be a devil worshipper, but since he didnt worship, or even believe in satan then he cant be either can he?
Also arises the problem that technically there wasnt a single satanist in exsistance before its founding in 1 anno satanis (thats 1966 to the uneducated) since Crowley died 1947 this means he couldnt have been a satanist.
Why dont you call it the LaVey game, so you can be insulting to one who was actually a follower of what your trying to insult?

2007-06-06 [Avoral]: "The Crowley Game" has a better ring to it.

2007-06-06 [Avoral]: And I quite enjoy reading my Satanic bible, thank you.

2007-06-06 [Nazarath.93]: Yeah it does, ive been rather careless, I thought This whole wiki was a massive attack on satanism, turns out its not so sorry.
