Please excuse my dear Aunt Sallythe girl in the corner. She’s been crying a while now, and I can’t seem to find her smile, nor her eyes. For some strange reason, I get the feeling that she has more than just a few strings attached; she’s dancing without moving, there’s a hand above her head.

We all have a few loose ends, but what of those who have square knots, or even fish hooks? We tend to neglect those who are different, those who are peculiar. It is by time that this trend come to a halt. Puppets are here, puppets are there; puppets are everywhere! Though thoughts of such people may be a bit perverse or even a tad morbid, there exists a world far beyond our imaginations. It’s time to unlock it!

People are tied down from day to day, so to express my sympathy, empathy, and sincere appreciation, [sweet.tx.tea] has come to the invariant conclusion that a contest is most definitely in order! I am certain that by now you are pondering many-a-question. Please, be patient. I intend to address all you wonder.

Attaining eligibility to this contest is simple: You must submit your name to the Eligibility Pending page. We will look at your house and judge whether your entering will be acceptable.

Deemed Unacceptable:
If you have been banned before by the council, you are not welcome. I’m sorry, but rules are for a reason.

Deemed Acceptable:
If you are approved, you will be sent a notice from [sweet.tx.tea]. I am sorry to inform you but, we do have some guidelines for you to follow. If you do not follow them, your entry will be deemed unacceptable. Sorry!

Subject Matter Jurisdiction: Judging will be held when announced by [sweet.tx.tea]. It is likely that there will be two sets of winners; winners chosen by the judge(s) and winners chosen by the people via public poll. If a public poll is held, buying votes, begging for votes, or voting for yourself will get your entry excluded from the poll. Play nice, kids.

Conclusively, the contest, like many others, is to show your true colors. C’mon, Elftown, we want to see some creativity! Live a little? On that note, if your entry does not fit the theme of this contest, you will be disqualified. Now now, this may seem a bit harsh, and we want to give everyone a fair chance, but you have got to stick to the theme. We can recommend some contests that your entry may fit in, but we just cannot keep it. :/ So, give it your best shot! Show us how you feel about puppets and those who control them; give us a taste of life on a string.
