The Runt: Friendly Faces
By [Nekko fox]
It was complete and utter chaos, and at its center sat little Tod. His latest mess had splattered violently across Arthur's lap which in turn triggered a chain of events that destroyed any semblance of peace in the house. Arthur's startled cry and subsequent leap into the air sent him tumbling into Eric, who tripped over the television cables that jutted from behind the box. Liliana rushed over to steady the television as it teetered on the edge, and in her rush she nearly knocked Amy on top of Tod. Only Amy's quick reflexes saved them from knocking their heads together. Eric was not so lucky as he in turn landed on his back with his father crashing on top of him, while Liliana strained to keep the electronics from potentially killing someone.
Arthur groaned from his prone position atop Eric, his pants an unsightly collage of partially digested food, while Eric lay uncomfortably beneath him, straining to breathe as most of his father's weight was located over his stomach. Amy lay sprawled across the bed, her face mere inches from the wall, and Liliana was awkwardly holding up the television, heavy as it was, with both arms while leaning forward and standing on one foot.
Slowly, everyone got themselves in order. Arthur stood and eased the television back into it's position on the table, making sure it was steady before letting go. Eric took a deep breath and sat up, rubbing the back of his head with his paw. Amy flipped over onto her back and sat on the edge of the bed, and Liliana straightened up and let out a sigh of relief. Everyone turned to regard Tod, his ears drooped in shame.
"S-Sorry..."
Arthur burst out laughing, turning from the room and walking towards the door.
"I'm going to take that shower that I didn't get to take earlier. And I might get some new pants, mine are a little bit messy. Hey, Dante, it's safe to come inside now.."
Dante peeked his head in the doorway, scrutinizing the carnage.
"I stayed back so I wouldn't get in the way and what happens? Everything falls to pieces. I swear, what would you people do without me?"
Arthur smacked him lightly on the back of the head as he strode past, laughing. Dante walked in, sniffed the air, and made a face.
"I take it Liliana's cooking got served twice, eh Tod?"
"Tod couldn't keep it down, but that's okay. I'll just make him something light later, if he feels up to it."
Liliana smiled good-naturedly at Tod who's ears drooped apologetically once again. She leaned down and hugged her little boy and gave him a peck on the cheek that made Tod blush and giggle. With that, Liliana left the room and the kids to their own company. Moments passed before Dante broke the silence. It seemed he had been waiting for the parental figures to get out of earshot.
"So uh...Tod?...I had the misfortune of having to flush the toilet after you were brought in here."
"It wasn't pretty, I know..."
"No, it wasn't...and it also had Eric's cum, as well as mine, in it..."
Tod looked up at Dante, surprised. Amy and Eric both looked at the wolf as well, and it was Eric who asked the nervous question.
"Did mom or dad see?"
"Nah, when your dad left and we all brought you to your room, I slipped back and flushed that mess down. By the way, chocolate and boy milk doesn't mix well"
Tod smiled gently, then glanced away, his smile becoming mischievous.
"Maybe, later, we could put some more back in my tummy."
Amy laughed and pushed Tod so that he was laying down.
"Tod! My goodness, but aren't you eager! You lay there and get some rest, and when you feel better we can talk about that."
"Besides, we need to talk little guy."
Tod looked over at Eric who was brushing dust off of his shoulder. He glanced up from his shoulder, meeting Tod's eyes and breaking into a smile.
"Do you know what tomorrow is?"
Tod stared at him blankly. No one had mentioned a birthday, at least none that he could recall. He racked his brain trying to think a good response. Dante, clearing his throat, offered a prompt.
"It's October thirty-first?.
..You know, 'Woo hoo, a half week of school'?"
Tod looked from Dante to Eric, and back again. His ears drooped. Dante shrugged as he shifted his weight.
"You know...Jack-o-lanterns? Candied apples? Boo?"
Tod was becoming more and more confused as Dante tried to explain through his subtle hints.
"All Saints Day? Day of the Dead? All Hallows' Eve?"
Tod shrugged his diminutive shoulders, shaking his head woefully.
"I don't know what you're talking about Dante..."
"Halloween, little man! Halloween! The day of ghoulies and candy! Scary movies and toilet papering trees! Egging houses and cheap plastic masks! You know? Halloween!"
"Toilet paper?"
Dante frowned, then sighed and hung his head, leaving Tod feeling as if he had disappointed him. Suddenly he clenched his fists, raising them above his head and shaking them at the ceiling as he growled through clenched teeth.
"Damn that family of yours Tod, damn them! Quick Amy, Eric!"
Amy and Eric snapped to attention, Amy barely able to contain a grin as Dante started marching back and forth, his head and shoulders stooped forward, one paw behind his back and the other held aloft, a single finger extended.
"This calls for drastic measures you two. Tod obviously doesn't know what Halloween is, and I'm sure you can all understand who is responsible for that."
He straightened and faced them and they snapped a sloppy salute.
"Despite that, I'm going to blame his brothers Ashton and Terrance."
Dante continued his marching back and forth in the room, gesticulating wildly as he formulated his plans. Amy giggled, but she stopped when Dante gave her an evil look. Considering the pause in her chuckles was momentary, Tod guessed this was mostly play.
"First, we need to contact the others. I know Shade will be over, he'll just bitch endlessly because he can't use his car. I'm not sure if Sheila will be able to make it, but Mark doesn't live far from here..."
Tod yawned, his eyes growing heavy. Dante didn't seem to be talking to him, so it would probably be alright if he shut his eyes for a few minutes. He was cold, too, so Tod pulled the covers up under his chin, turning to face the pacing Dante. His enthusiastic voice seemed to grow fuzzy as Tod lay there, and soon it melted together with Tod's even breathing as the puppy fell asleep.
Time passed without notice, and Tod slept without dreams. For some time, he shivered even while under his blankets. After a while, there was a light pressure on Tod's shoulder. It seemed comforting, and it was warm. Tod liked warm. He wanted to hold the warmth. He rolled over and took hold of it with his paws. It gave his paws a gentle squeeze, which made him smile. A voice came with the squeeze, familiar but distant.
"Tod?...Wake up Tod...it's time to open your eyes sweetie..."
Tod cracked his eyes ever so slightly and saw Liliana's smiling face. He opened them wider, noting that the room seemed darker. Either the sun had traveled its due course across the sky, or the clouds had thickened enough to block most of the sun's rays out. When he sat up, Liliana brushed back his golden hair and pressed her forehead against Tod's. She closed her eyes and Tod held his breath. It was silent until Liliana pulled away and opened her eyes, a smile across her muzzle.
"You don't seem nearly as warm as you did before, Tod. How are you feeling?"
In response, Tod's stomach growled loudly. Liliana laughed quietly and took a tray that had been sitting on the floor and set it on Tod's lap. On it was a glass of water and two crackers beside a porcelain bowl of some golden liquid. Lurking in the broth appeared to be thin noodles and, poking out of the broth from one end of the bowl, was a handle. Tod assumed it belonged to a spoon. She tousled his hair lovingly and stood once more.
"Eat slow. The soup will warm you up, and it's light enough to keep down, just like Dr. Williams said. After that, you can take a nice warm bath. But not too long now, or you'll keep the others waiting!"
"Others?"
Liliana didn't respond to Tod's obvious question but instead hurried off, a spring in her step. Tod watched the door for a few moments, puzzling it out. What had Dante been saying before? He recalled Dante blustering about how he didn't know what Halloween was. He recalled his pacing back and forth. Amy and Eric standing at attention. But then it got fuzzy, and Tod remembered feeling sleepy. Tod realized he must have dozed off while Dante droned on, but he couldn't quite remember what the plan was, or what it involved.
As Tod puzzled over everything that must have happened, he took up the spoon from the broth. The spoon held some broth, a couple noodles, and a single white chunk of meat which Tod assumed was chicken. He paused to blow on the spoonful, recalling his painful experience with cocoa, before putting it in his mouth. It was hot, but not too hot, and tasted delicious, full of spices and garlic, and the warmth was soothing on his throat. Tod didn't know what to do with the crackers so he dunked them in the broth and nibbled them when the liquid made them soft. He got halfway through the bowl before he slowed himself down and took assessment.
His stomach felt alright, at least for the moment. He rubbed his temples and realized his headache had left. He still felt a bit sore, especially in his shoulders and chest, and when he tried to clear his throat he started coughing. It wasn't too painful, but Tod had grab his bowl before it sloshed the rest of his soup down into his lap. He glanced over his shoulder and out the window. The snow had stopped, though it appeared to have put down a few more inches since the last time Tod had looked outside. The clouds were a dark, murky black, and hung low and heavy in the sky. They shifted ominously, as if waiting for some unseen cue to start pouring down more snow. When Tod glanced at the clock, he saw that the glowing red numbers read half past four.
Not knowing what to do with the tray, Tod pushed it so that it was laying on the bedding and off of his legs. He decided it was best if he didn't finish the whole bowl, not wanting to have to spend his time in the bathroom groaning into the toilet instead of enjoying a soothing bath. Coughing quietly, Tod made his way towards the bathroom. It wasn't until Tod had clicked the bathroom door shut that he realized how badly he needed to pee.
Tod kicked off his pants and then worked his shirt off over his head and dropped them both into a pile beside the sink. He was used to sleeping in his clothes when he was on the street, but he felt rumpled and frumpy now that he was in a new home and sleeping in a real bed instead of in a cardboard box. Tod took care of his puppy piddle and then, after flushing the toilet, he hopped up onto the edge of the bathtub and sat there. He turned on the water and plugged the drain, dangling his feet in the slowly filling tub and reveling in the warmth. He shivered gently as a draft of cold air tickled up his back. He tried to ignore it and instead kept his attention on the water. He couldn't tell what the family was doing, what with how loud the cascade of hot water was, but he assumed that they were all enjoying the fire. He idly kicked at the water and realized that he was feeling lonely.
Tod slid off of the edge of the tub and into the water. He was still somewhat irritable that his rear end came about even with the top edge of the tub, so Tod grumbled quietly to himself as he turned off the water. Tod stood for a moment, dwelling on his short stature, when he heard a shuffling noise coming from near the edge of the tub. He turned around and came face to face with the most hideous, ghoulish thing he'd ever seen. It was a wolf's face, at least that was what Tod thought it was. It was hard to tell as most of the flesh had rotted away, leaving a only a few scraps of mouldering skin and black, scraggy fur to cling to withered muscle tissue and bone that was yellowing with age, and it was crouched outside of the the tub, mouth agape as it stared at Tod.
Horrified, Tod's back hit the bathroom wall as he shrunk away from long, glistening fangs of the undead creature that was looming over him. Tod let out a plaintive whimper as he slid into the water of the tub, his whole body shivering despite the heat. The creature's eyes were locked onto Tod's, and Tod couldn't look away. The eyes were so alive, watching Tod's every move with calculating intelligence. And then Tod noticed something unusual about the creature. What Tod could see of the fur on the creature ended at the collar of a dirty shirt with long sleeves, but from there the view was cut off. But curious white hairs stuck up around the base of the collar, hairs that didn't match the black hairs of the face. He also saw that the head was lumpy, and the face seemed to be almost lop-sided.
"Shade?"
The thing promptly stood up, revealing fuzzy white paws at the ends of the sleeves, paws that were originally hidden behind the edge of the tub. One of those fuzzy white paws reached up and grabbed at it's throat, peeling the face upward and back and revealing Shade's manic grin.
"Happy Halloween-to-be kiddo! Heard you were feeling all kinds of horrible, so I came by to cheer you up!"
Tod let a weak smile show through.
"Thank you Shade. I was just about to take a bath before...well..."
"Before I scared you shitless? Yeah, I know. I was in here for a while watching you. I was trying to get as close as I can without making you turn around. I thought it was going to be hard, but you didn't seem to notice me."
He shook the rubber mask at Tod, making it flop around comically.
"You seemed a bit out of it, I noticed. Everything okay in that little head of yours Tod?"
Tod trailed his paws through the hot water, not making eye-contact with Shade.
"Yes...I was just feeling a little bit lonely...I was thinking about how Eric, Amy and Dante are downstairs with mom and dad..."
"Don't forget Mark and Sheila. They showed up a little while ago. I think they're making out all over the couch while Eric and Dante arm wrestle. I think Amy is keeping your dad out of the kitchen, so he went into the basement to do some tinkering. I don't know how much longer that will be though, he said something about a movie later."
Tod held his paws in his lap as he scooted as close to the wall as he could, attempting to keep himself decent, with as little of his lower half showing as possible. He'd never been alone with Shade, at least not like this. Of course Shade had seen him naked before, the first time being when he decided to sneak into the Baron household early and meet Tod for the first time. The second time was when Dante and Shade had found Tod with the twins in the park. But Tod had always been with someone before, and the little pup felt awkward and vulnerable, so he tried to keep his eyes on his paws. Shade didn't seem to notice his discomfort though. He sat on the floor as he faced Tod, reclining against the toilet with one arm draped over the bath tub wall, trailing his fingers through the warm water as he talked on and on.
"And you wouldn't believe the hell I went through to get here! I swear, when I looked outside and thought to myself 'Shade, now would be a good day to stay indoors', almost immediately afterward Dante called me up and told me you were sick. I could probably make a snowman with all the snow that I had in my boots! Speaking of boots, I'll have you know I hate boots! Positively hate them! That's how lucky you are Tod. You got me to put on boots and come out to see you. And I had to hike here too! I hate walking in general, but I had to hike here! Let me emphasize how deep the snow is one more time. I. Had. To. Hike. Here. I almost got stuck in a snow drift once! If it weren't for my superior navigational skills..."
"I'm sorry..."
Shade stopped mid-sentence and glanced over at Tod. Tod's little shoulders shook gently as he tried to keep his emotions in check, though occasionally a small tremor slipped into his voice.
"I didn't mean to cause anyone any trouble Shade...You or the others...I-I really appreciate how much you all care about me...I know I don't deserve it, but thank you..."
Shade could not possibly look any more uncomfortable than he did as Tod apologized. His ears drooped as his grin faltered. He cleared his throat, trying to break into the awkward silence that followed.
"Eh...hey now...It's. Well, it's alright. I mean, I didn't have to walk that far. I would have been bored at home anyway, you know? Don't feel bad little guy..."
Tod looked up form his paws to gaze at Shade, his eyes wet. Shade's struggling smile died.
"Aw, damn it Tod. Now I feel bad..."
The bunny pulled himself closer to Tod using his legs and wrapped an arm around the puppy's small, quivering shoulders, holding him close as a couple tears hit the bath water. Tod sniffled quietly as Shade held him awkwardly against his chest, trying to calm him down.
"Please don't cry little guy. I didn't mean to upset you. You do deserve love, okay? I didn't mean that you don't...Oh Gods, I sound like one of those bloody sympathy counselors that you hear about on t.v."
Tod couldn't help but laugh. He didn't know what a sympathy counselor was, but hearing Shade get exasperated and stumble along with his apology was funny, and it made him feel better. Tod looked up at Shade who was scratching his chin. Without thinking, Tod leaned up and pressed his lips against Shade's in a strong kiss. Tod could feel Shade suddenly tense up, the motion of him scratching his chin coming to a halt. When Tod pulled away from the kiss and sat back into the water, reality at what he'd done hit him.
Shade was staring at him, shocked, eyes wide. His mouth hung open slightly and his arm cocked for chin scratching. Tod shrunk down, feeling rather ashamed of himself. He should have known better! Shade didn't like boys! But Tod couldn't help himself, Shade was being so nice to him.
"I...I'm sorry Shade."
Shade finally blinked.
"You kissed me."
"Er...yes...I'm sorry. Please don't be mad, Shade! I just..."
"You kissed me."
"I'm sorry Shade! I don't know why I did it..."
"Tod? You. Kissed. Me. And you're sick! Blech! I'm gonna get the flu now!"
Shade stuck out his tongue and rubbed a paw over it, an obvious attempt to scrape away any germs Tod may have passed on to him. Tod stared as Shade's gestures became more animated, the bunny even grabbing one of the towels and rubbing it on his tongue. He stopped rubbing the towel on his tongue however when he had to stop and spit out lint and thread. He finally turned to Tod, a confused expression on his face.
"But seriously though...you kissed me. Why did you kiss me?"
He didn't sound mad, just curious. Tod tentatively began.
"Well, I don't know...y-you just seemed really sweet all of a sudden...And, well, I wanted to show you how I felt..."
"So you kissed me?"
"Y-yes...I'm sorry."
Shade nodded slowly, considering something. After a moment's thought, Shade lifted a paw and rubbed Tod's head.
"Did you know that was the first real kiss I've had in years? It wasn't half bad either."
Tod blinked, a little surprised to hear Shade say that. In response, Shade laughed at his expression and gave his head another rub.
"Don't think you can go around kissing me whenever you feel like it though, okay?"
Tod nodded excitedly, his smile returning when he realized that Shade was not upset with him for the kiss. But then something crossed Tod's mind.
"So...is it okay to kiss you sometimes?"
Shade burst out laughing, standing up and walking towards the bathroom door. He called over his shoulder to Tod.
"Ask me again when you don't have the flu, okay? Now hurry up. All of us are downstairs waiting for you. Oh, and Amy said that if you want to wear boxers and your hoody for pajamas you can, but she wants you by the fire to keep you warm."
And with a flick of his fuzzy white tail, he disappeared out the door. Tod sat there in the hot water, trying to process everything that was going through his head. Everyone came over, all for Tod's benefit. And he'd kissed Shade. Shade wasn't mad that he'd been kissed. He was going to learn about something called Halloween. His stomach hurt somewhat, and he still felt dizzy, but Tod didn't feel too bad considering that hours ago he had been vomiting up everything that was in his stomach.
The pup didn't feel that he needed another bath to get clean, so he didn't make for the soap, but he had to admit he liked the steam. He splashed around a bit, chasing the ripples with his fingertips. In a short time, Tod found that he could breathe a little bit easier, and he mentally thanked Dr. Williams for his advice. Tod allowed his eyes to close as he sunk into the bath, holding his breath as he completely immersed himself. Everything became muffled underwater, and Tod relished the quiet. Noise made his head throb, and though he didn't like to complain, he appreciated the stillness of the warm water.
When the need for air became too great, Tod sat up. As the water sluiced down his fur and out of his hair, Tod scooted over and un-stoppered the drain. He reached for one of towels and and started drying himself as well as he was able. With that done, the shivering pup pulled on his little hooded sweatshirt, pausing to stick out his tongue at the "Child's Medium" tag, and then tugged on his boxers. He felt much better, and he wondered if he was already over his flu, when a wave of nausea rocked the pup on his heels and he had to swing himself over to the porcelain toilet again until the feeling had passed.
"Ugh."
That was all Tod could manage to say. "Ugh". When his roiling stomach calmed down, Tod stood slowly and carefully made his way out of the bathroom and down the stairs. When he entered the living room, everyone was hunkered down beside the fireplace except for his mother and father who were seated on the couch, a blanket draped over their shoulders. Everyone was watching the television as the news informed them of the weather to come. A lemur in a business suit was pointing at a large map with white shifting masses that Tod assumed were clouds, and explaining in detail what was coming.
"As you can see from the projection here, we should see more scattered flurries all through tonight and most of tomorrow. And now, back to John with the sports!"
The camera panned back to a very stern looking bovine with shaggy brown hair who began shouting about a sports team and their wonderful efforts in some game they had participated in. Tod stopped listening because he didn't like sports, so instead he stepped over to Liliana and Arthur, his tail wagging gently. Liliana leaned down and hoisted him up into her lap, and both she and Arthur gave the top of his head a kiss. Arthur scratched Tod behind the ear and whispered.
"How you doing Tod? Are you feeling a bit better?"
Tod nodded his head as he leaned into the scratches, but Arthur stopped and shooed Tod down.
"Go be with your friends Tod, they went through a blizzard to come see you. Your mother and I will be right here. It's nice to see friendly faces, especially when you're sick."
Tod nodded and walked over to the small huddle of figures by the fire. There arose a quiet cheer when Tod stepped into the warm orange glow, and he was immediately pulled off his feet and into a lap. Sheila's face peered down into his own, a wide grin turning up her cheeks. He had a only a moment to register this before she leaned down and, with little effort, began plastering kisses all over Tod's face. The puppy couldn't help but giggle helplessly at the smooches, but over the sound of the kisses he heard Mark mutter from Sheila's side.
"Ah crap, now you're gonna get the flu Sheila!"
"No I'm not!"
Sheila sat up and smacked her boyfriend on the arm with a quick left-hook, but while she was distracted Dante pulled Tod free and into his own lap. He ruffled Tod's hair playfully and gave him a warm hug.
"Hey kiddo, I hope that you're feeling a bit better than you were before. Amy sent Shade upstairs to check up on you when we heard you moving around up there. I hope he didn't scare you."
Amy, who was sitting by Eric near the television just beyond Sheila and Mark, smiled and shook a finger at Shade.
"He'd better not have scared you, or I'm going to rearrange certain parts of his anatomy."
Eric laughed, and put in his two cents as well.
"Sounds like fun, can I help?"
Shade smiled good-naturedly, but didn't offer a response beyond a shrug of his shoulders. Tod waved his paw in the air, commanding attention.
"He startled me when he came in, but he didn't scare me. I just didn't see him come in, that's all."
Dante heaved a bored sigh, his shoulders slumping dramatically.
"Well, crap, that means this evenings activity of Rearrange-the-Rabbit has been canceled. Worst sleepover ever!"
Everyone laughed at this, but Tod noticed that Shade was not among them. His saturnine mood gave Tod pause. As everyone grew quiet and their attention turned to the television, where a movie began to play, Tod pulled himself to his knees and crawled over to Shade. The puppy sat himself down in Shade's lap, and he seemed more than surprised at Tod's extemporaneous actions. He cleared his throat uncomfortably, and Tod could feel him shift underneath his bottom. Tod glanced up at him and whispered softly.
"Shade? When was the last time you've been played with?"
Tod could see Shade's ears flush pink as he blushed, and he hurriedly whispered back.
"As amazing as I am, and interesting though the topic may be, I don't think that's something you need to-"
Just then, Tod's little paw reached behind and deftly grabbed Shade's crotch. Shade immediately stiffened, his shoulders and back straight. He cleared his throat and whispered into Tod's ear.
"Last time I got any action, I was dating Andy."
Tod gave him a playful squeeze, and he could feel the bunny beginning to harden in his pants. He giggled and looked into Shade's eyes.
"Can I play with you Shade?"
Shade's ears were still a bright pink and he hurriedly glanced at at Mark and Sheila, but they simply shrugged. He looked back at Amy, but she was focused on the television. Eric, however, gave the bunny a discreet thumb's-up. Dante gave Shade a subtle nod, a smile on his face. They had all heard as they were close, but the parents, who were still snuggled comfortably on the couch, couldn't overhear the conversation. Eric waved a paw in the air.
"Hey dad, could you turn it up a bit, I'm sitting right here and I can barely hear the jokes!"
Arthur groaned as he leaned over, and there was the clack of something plastic on wood followed by the click of a remote. The volume increased, and Dante scooted up besides Shade, draping a blanket over both his and Shade's shoulders, and obscuring Tod from view of the parents. Tod looked up at him and he gave the pup a roguish wink. Tod smiled knowingly.
Tod didn't wait for Shade to give any indication of consent, he simply undid the rabbits pants, his little fingers working the button free and pulling the zipper down before Shade could make a peep. A quick glance showed Shade's fingers digging into the carpeting, but with no protest voiced Tod let his fingertips explore what he couldn't see. His sense of touch told him in no uncertain terms that Shade was already stiff in his pants, so Tod did him a favor and released his cock from it's confinement. Shade shivered gently as Tod's fingertips gently traced across his sensitive member, and much to Tod's surprise there was also a thin trickle of pre-cum to help lubricate his strokes.
Dante barked a laugh as something amusing happened in the movie, though what exactly was beyond Tod. His focus was on the quivering bunny whose lap he was seated in. Tod gave the base of Shade's throbbing cock a gentle squeeze, causing the rabbit to groan quietly, but the noise was quickly muffled by Eric groaning as well.
"Gods, that was ridiculous! You can't fit a whale into a clown car!"
He was quickly shushed by the others, including Arthur. Still squeezing Shade's cock at the base, the pup gently pulled upwards and he was greeted with a hot rush of pre-cum filling his paw. Tod paused for a moment, then a smirk crossed his face. With his free paw, Tod wriggled his rump out of his boxers, his tail wagging excitedly. He worked his pre-cum soaked paw over Shade's shaft, getting it nice and slick before lifting his rear-end eagerly and pushing himself down onto Shade's cock. The rabbit gave a loud gasp, which thankfully coincided with a major character on the movie revealing something that was a surprise to everyone. Amy and Eric shouted their protests at the plot-twist, and were quickly hushed by their parents. Tod silently thanked lucky coincidences to himself as he snuggled down onto Shade's cock, wincing as his bottom accommodated the bunny's flesh.
It wasn't hard getting himself all the way down to the base of Shade's cock since he had used so much pre-cum as a lubricant, but he couldn't help wincing near the end as his tight hole was stretched. He was a small pup, after all, and his little bottom wasn't quite used to this kind of sexual activity yet. Despite this, Tod wriggled himself down until he had all of the rabbit's member inside of him. He giggled and glanced up at Shade, a teasing smile on his face as he whispered quietly, just loud enough for Shade to hear.
"Is this alright Shade?"
"Y-Yeah, little guy, it is."
Tod leaned back against Shade, feeling the warmth of his body through the clothing, and let out a soft croon as he started lifting his hips slowly and letting himself settle down onto Shade's cock again. He did this several times, and each time he felt Shade's cock hitting his prostate and soon the little pup's boxers were tenting up with an erection of his own. Apparently, Dante noticed and his paw was immediately in Tod's lap, undoing the button and slipping the puppies smaller cock out. He began stroking and squeezing the little puppies member, causing Tod to shiver and clench the muscles in his bottom. Tod spread his legs as he rode Shade and enjoyed the feeling of fullness. Suddenly, Shade leaned forward and grabbed hold of little Tod's hips and pulled him down hard.
Tod's eyes grew wide as he felt a hot rush filling him, the majority of the hot splatter hitting his prostate directly. Tod's body went tense and Dante quickly cupped a paw over the tip of his cock as he gave Tod a few more quick strokes and squeezes. With grunt Tod's cum splattered into Dante's open paw, and as Tod calmed down Dante stroked and squeezed him some more, milking the last few drops into his paw before lapping it all up.
As Dante was licking his paw clean, Shade lifted Tod off of his shaft, being quiet and discreet as possible and even stifling a moan as his cock popped free of little Tod's tailhole. Tod, his little body shivering, collapsed back against Shade as Dante slipped the puppy's cock back into his boxers and tugged them up securely around his bottom. Behind them they heard Arthur stand up and yawn.
"Well that was a boring movie. I don't see why the critics were raving about it, it was stupid the whole way through."
There was mutual agreement from the surrounding group, even from Shade despite the fact that he had given the movie less than ten minutes of his attention. The puppy stood up and stretched, then promptly wavered and sat down hard on his bottom with a groan. His head began spinning slightly, and his stomach gave an unhealthy lurch. Amy was up and at his side as soon as the moan left Tod's lips.
"Come on little guy, let's get you up to the bathroom, okay?"
She picked him up under his arms and whisked him away upstairs before Tod could object or reassure her that he was fine. Liliana quickly fell in step behind her daughter, and together they got Tod into the bathroom. Liliana pushed the door open and Amy stepped in sideways so as to not knock Tod's head against the door frame. She set him on the floor and Tod immediately went to his knees, retching into the toilet and spitting up bile. His head was spinning and Tod was beginning to feel warm again. He mentally chastised himself for acting so impetuously, no matter how good it felt. Tod didn't like being sick, not at all.
Tod let out a groan into the toilet and he felt a hand on his back, rubbing in slow circles in between his shoulder blades. He heard Liliana whispering softly about how it was going to be alright, so he assumed it was she who was rubbing his back. He cleared his throat and spat the results hurriedly into the toilet. Amy said something about getting Tod's bed ready and he heard her leave the bathroom. He sat back on his haunches and Liliana flushed the toilet for him before wrapping her arms around his shoulders in a hug.
"There there now, Tod, we'll get you feeling right as rain in no time..."
Tod looked up into the face of his new mother, and he gave her a soft smile. She was pretty, just like an angel. The angel that saved him from a miserable life, a miserable life that would have been cut short if he'd been out on the streets much longer. He leaned up and gave her a kiss on the cheek before wrapping his little arms around her neck in a hug. He shut his eyes, simply enjoying the comfort and warmth as she returned the hug.
"Thank you mommy...I love you..."
"I love you too Tod. Now, come along to bed. I think that movie was too much for your system. Look at your ears, they are flushed pink! I think you might still have a bit of a temperature."
She placed the back of her paw against his forehead, then shook her head worriedly. Tod hid a smirk, knowing he was flushed for a different reason. His bottom still stung slightly because of that very reason. But Tod had to admit, his body felt heavy, and he felt overly warm, and he knew that his body was reminding him in no uncertain terms that he was still sick. Liliana took his small paw in her own and she led him back to his room, where they found Amy tucking down the corners of Tod's bed. Much to Tod's surprise, Shade was seated on the corner, staring fixedly at the television beside the bed, a controller gripped in his paws. His tongue was stuck up out of the corner of his mouth in a comical display of concentration. Amy waved at Tod as he entered and gave him a warm smile.
"There you go, little guy, all made up and ready for you! Sorry about your new bunk mate, he just kind of showed up."
Shade turned to to Amy and stuck out his tongue at her, to which Amy replied by rolling her eyes in exasperation. Liliana picked up Tod and set him in his bed before tucking him in. She stood up and shook a finger at Shade.
"You behave now Shade, and no keeping Tod up with your antics!"
Shade put on a face of hurt disapproval.
"Mademoiselle, I would never think to interrupt the rest of those who are ill and in need of a respite! By my honor as a lord arch duke king emperor of this fair land, I shall make it my duty that young Sir Tod gets the rest he needs!"
Liliana offered no response beyond a laugh and the shaking of her head as she left the room and Shade continued playing the videogame. Amy gave a sigh and ruffled Tod's hair before scratching him behind his ears. Tod smiled up at her, even giving her paw a teasing lick which made Amy giggle.
"You going to be alright Tod? Are you comfortable?"
Tod nodded and snuggled down under the covers. As Amy stood, Shade switched off the television and the game and turned to Tod.
"You know little guy, you are just full of little surprises...I think I'm really starting to like you."
Tod gave him a warm smile, but a yawn broke his grin and made the rabbit chuckle.
"Well, I suppose as lord arch duke king emperor of the land, I should probably keep my promise to your mother that I'd see to it you got plenty of rest Tod."
Amy ruffled Tod's hair and looked at Shade.
"Lord arch duke king emperor? Where do you come up with this stuff?"
"I'm not sure. But as lord arch duke king emperor, I am relegating my task of promise-fulfillment to you Amy. Make sure this puppy gets lots of rest, or I'll have you clapped in irons and probably put in the stockades. I may add horsewhipping to that if I feel especially gracious."
Amy groaned and started shoving him out of the bedroom. Shade made her work for every inch that she pushed him, and the entire time, he had one arm raised, a finger pointed dramatically to the sky.
"And then I shall make you part of my harem! If you please your master, you may be able to work your way up to my mistress. Mistress of the lord arch duke king emperor is a highly sought after position you know, and it has good pay. Terrible hours though, and the dental coverage is crap, but I'm sure we'll have a lot of...Oh, seems I'm leaving! BYE TOD!"
And with a final shove, Amy pushed Shade out of the room and shut the door. She turned and faced Tod, resting her back against the door as she let out a low whistle.
"Damn that bunny has got a lot of energy."
She walked back over to Tod, repositioning his bucket so that she could sit beside him. She watched the door as she spoke to him.
"So, what exactly were you doing with Shade when we were watching the movie?"
"Stroking him."
"Wow, I bet that caught him off guard."
"And then I let him do my butt."
Amy turned and looked at Tod, her eyebrow raised.
"Oh really? With our parents in the room? You little deviant!"
She tickled his sides through his sheets, making Tod giggle and squirm helplessly. When she'd finished she looked at Tod, a small, special smile on her face.
"So, why did you do it? And how did you get him to let you?"
"Well, it started in the bathroom. I was feeling sad, and Shade cheered me up...And, well, I kind of kissed him. When we were downstairs, I just kind of grabbed him and it turned into...well, that."
Amy nodded sagely at Tod's awkward ramblings.
"That. Very nice. I bet Shade's not so pent up now, huh?"
"Well, he did cum a lot in my bottom."
"A lot?"
"Yeah. A lot..."
Amy shook her head, a smile raising her cheeks as she sighed.
"Tod, you're too sick to be doing that kind of stuff. Couldn't that have waited a few days?"
Tod's ears drooped. He hadn't really thought of that.
"I...I guess it could have. It's just like daddy said, though, It was nice to see some friendly faces..."
"Well, it's time for you to start getting some sleep cutie butt. I think everyone will enjoy that kind of activity more if you are involved, and you'll enjoy it more when you aren't sick."
"Okay Amy. Will you tell everyone I said I love them too?"
Amy leaned down and kissed his forehead before getting up and walking to the door and flicking off the light.
"I sure will little guy. Now get some sleep, tomorrow is going to be pretty exciting!"
