Poem's Title: Sinner
Poem:

Standing on the verge of my sanity.
I start to fall, slowly.
The earth is crumbling beneath my feet.
I can smell my soul's sweet defeat.

I free myself of my tears and sorrow.
Hoping for the sun to melt my freezing heart tomorrow.
And if you still smile when I glance your way.
The sun will set a second time today.

Shouting out for absolution.
Beginning to cause my own destruction.
Rules are meant for breaking to me.
I am a sinner third degree.

Poem's Title: Lonely Thoughts
Poem:
Life-long quest, rhythmic
Overture of long forgotten songs
Numerous dances and countless postures
Endless feasts in decorated halls
Lonely thoughts haunting
You.

Tracing figures on the paper
Hourglass of Time cracked
Only no one sees, no one cares
Unforgiving monster, the
Guardian of Ages
Honourable fight
Terrible battle
Sleeping in the Dragon's wake.

Solitary memories
Lost in golden halls of yore
Emerging from an
Era of believed mythology
Powerless. For now.

Walking through the
Endless corridors
Living, loving, lamenting
Long forgotten romances

And
Life's
Lonely thoughts.

Poem's Title: Waiting For You!
Poem:

And when you're lying alone there in the dark
And your left in the silence wondering about the pain
Feeling the cold breeze in the middle of a summer's night
Just know that I'm waiting for you, you're in my heart
And when you're walking through the busy street
The sun is shining yet you still feel cold
Your looking around and you, you just don't feel complete
Just know that I'm waiting for you, for you to hold
And when everything comes undone
Everything is falling down around you
You're looking for the answers beyond the sun
Just know that I'm waiting for you, I am true
And I'm just gonna keep smiling through the tears
And I'm just gonna keep holding you
And I'm just gonna keep fighting our fears
And I'm just gonna keep, keeping you.

Poem's Title: Please Say No
Poem:

First came the needle, and then the spoon
Keep it up, you'll have all the friends you need
Nine by five hole in the ground is where you'll end up soon
Like an animal instinct, you feel the need to feed
But they're feeding you poison in this twisted lab
Where the science is crooked and their subjects are twisted
You're so wasted all the time, you're immune to rehab
Your future is a train and you're going to miss it
So please say no to the next freebaser
and the methadonins, amphetamines, LSD,
and the five crack lines and the heroin chaser
If it's not for you, then for your family
Please say no before the people who care
Are forced to live without the one they love
And your father and your mother, with the crosses they bear
Will pray to God that somehow you are up above
Please say no to your next addiction
Please say no to the ultimate high
Please stay tuned for the next edition
Because we can't stand to watch you die

Poem's Title: The Emerald of My Eye
Poem:

The woods are a magical realm.
The swaying of the enigmatic elms,
the peaceful motion is kind.
The forest has nothing else in mind.

The song of the trees,
and the buzzing of the bees.
The forest guardian towers over all.
Many trees stand proud and tall.

Going around the thorny thistles,
The woeful wind whistles.
Sun, reveal your face.
Show us your warm embrace.

The silent rhythm,
Your heart will tell you what's hidden.
Glorious, green grass envelopes the ground.
Wild, free, the plants go abound.

The beautiful emerald of my eye,
the forest, its deep depths without lies.
The rustling of the leaves,
Emanates what you perceive
