The earth is crumbling beneath my feet.
I can smell my soul's sweet defeat.

Hoping for the sun to melt my freezing heart tomorrow.
And if you still smile when I glance your way.
The sun will set a second time today.

Shouting out for absolution.
Beginning to cause my own destruction.

Keep it up, you'll have all the friends you need

Like an animal instinct, you feel the need to feed
But they're feeding you poison in this twisted lab
Where the science is crooked and their subjects are twisted
You're so wasted all the time, you're immune to rehab
Your future is a train and you're going to miss it
So please say no to the next freebaser
and the methadonins, amphetamines, LSD,
and the five crack lines and the heroin chaser
If it's not for you, then for your family
Please say no before the people who care

The woods are a magical realm.
The swaying of the enigmatic elms,
the peaceful motion is kind.
The forest has nothing else in mind.


The song of the trees,
and the buzzing of the bees.
The forest guardian towers over all.
Many trees stand proud and tall.


Going around the thorny thistles,
The woeful wind whistles.
Sun, reveal your face.
Show us your warm embrace.


The silent rhythm,
Your heart will tell you what's hidden.
Glorious, green grass envelopes the ground.
Wild, free, the plants go abound.


The beautiful emerald of my eye,
the forest, its deep depths without lies.
The rustling of the leaves,
Emanates what you perceive
