Poem's Title:Depressi
on
Poem:
The heart constricts.
The pain restricts.
The sadness from inside,
My other thoughts shoved aside.
The first sign,
I will always find.
The first blow,
The misery is starting to grow.
Agony rises in my heart,
Searing pain, only a part.
Worse than a physical blow,
It will start to show.
My fake visage is slipping.
The mask is ripping.
The happy face I wear.
It is starting to tear.
A single teardrop burns.
My despairing thoughts take turns,
Spineless, stupid, selfish thing I am.
The endless affliction, I am truly damned.

Poem's Title: Ashamed
Poem:
It makes me ashamed to be of this clan
When I look at this world so perverted by Man
It makes me ashamed to be of human breed
When survival is based on abusal and greed
It makes me ashamed to be of human blood
When people wage wars in the name of their Gods
It makes me ashamed to be human and not wild
When enforcers of the law guts another newborn child
It makes me ashamed to be of human race
When the Emperor laughs and spits in my face
It makes me ashamed to be a human misfit
When compassion dies to make way for profit
But in spite of all this, it makes me so proud
When people stand up and breaks free from the crowd
And oppose to their masters without care for their deaths
And curse at the injustice with their last dying breath
To wage war on your king is our only sollution
Or this world of ours will bow for the pollution
Created by the virus who corrupts all that it can find
This virus has a name: Homo Sapiens - Mankind...

Poem's Title:End of Pain
Poem:
Click…click….click…click…click…click,
The slam of metal on metal,
Whirl ….snick,
A trembling sigh escapes her lips,
The soft sound of metal shifting,
Resting her hand above her hips,
A soft groan of sickened fear,
Haunting pain fills her eyes,
The silent fall of a single tear,
The grating of bones as her hand tightens,
A sudden look of determination,
Sobs from memories that frighten,
*The barrel wobbles side to side*
Splashing tears of frustration,
Heart aching as she remembers how they lied,
The sound of metal sliding as her finger squeezes,
The sudden lightening of her soul
Finally doing as SHE pleases,
A brilliant flash lights her face,
Crimson blooms from just above her ear,
A sudden thunderclap blows her hair like lace,
She crumples to the ground with a serene smile,
The sound of sobbing lingers on some how,
The one she loved had been watching…frozen…all the while.

Poem's Title: Witness to a Moment
Poem:
And I walk disbelieving among the frozen statues,
That they say were once people-
Stilled mid-thought, still conversing with their neighbors,
Caught listening for a moment forever.
And I walk among them, without their digression,
Observing but not believing,
I am the only witness to their secrets,
The little things that can only be seen when
time is stopped and you are allowed a second chance
To truly look at the world around you.
And I as I notice one, I see something else,
Secrets I never wanted to notice,
Frozen, undiluted passions.
A look here, a carefully placed hand there.
Their eyes are open but they cannot see,
I'm convinced they simply choose to ignore.
A solitary testament to this second,
And only this moment.

Poem's Title: The Griffin
Poem:
When the dawn breaks and the world awakes,
People gather to look at her, a creature of immortal glory.
She dazzles the eyes, and the breath she takes,
A reborn heroine of the ancients' stories.
Behold the Griffin, how masterfully she flies.
A lioness's body, with the head and wings of an eagle,
There was never a beast more regal,
Than she.
The peaks are her home,
To which she returns after her roams,
In the endless azure.
She fills the sky with her shrill cries,
Marvel at the Griffin, how gracefully she flies.
Far down below, her admirers stare,
At this magnificent queen of the air,
Their eyes wide with awe, tearful with love,
For this beauty, on her throne high above.
Alas, one bore instead of this love consuming hate,
And for a moment of vengeance did wait.
To evict a black wyvern from the lands it once knew
Is a foolhardy deed forever to be rued.
It came for her one morning,
Just as the sun was yawning,
Behind the mountain.
An abomination of the foulest kind,
It lived in the darkness, drank blood, and bone did grind
To sustain its ugly self.
Its leathery skin of a blackish hue,
And from its mouth, a detestable odour did issue
Between teeth lance-sharp, dripping red.
This atrocity borne on membranous wings
Had a tail long and like a whip, made to lash out and sting.
It descended on her like lightning,
Caught unawares, she could not do any fighting
To stand up for her life, and down she fell.
Crashing among those who loved and knew her well
Battered, mauled, and bleeding, she protested to the sky,
And tearfully closed her eyes.
Then opened them and her looks did go,
To the hateful one she kicked out long ago.
She turned to her people, who profusely did weep and mourn
Then her eyes closed for evermore.
