Barely a week later after a couple successful raids and a resurgence in the ranks of the Disciples and no visits to Lash's bed Angie received a summons for her and Forra. The Blackguard had been making herself at home with Angie as the two shared a love of torture and of course an enjoyment of each other. Lash had not indicated why he wanted them both, and in truth if he thought to have them both Angie entertained the idea of Lash joining their little collection of guests.

Lash was irritated standing in Caliban's chambers, he had been summoned and he hated that. Caliban looked up and smiled, "Have patience Lash, I send you on an amazing mission with my best weapons. Wear down or kill Darryl and his wife and bring me the baby and you may take your son. He is weak and with everything happening there is no way the powerful psion can help them all and defend his house.

Already three lesser psions and a couple thugs were preparing to go with him for this mission. Caliban began to focus his powers, pushing at Darryl's defenses they could only take so much before collapse. Then Lash would do as the master had ordered. He nodded to one of the female thugs, "No matter what, the child comes back through the portal to me. On your life, unharmed."

"Yeah on my life. I'll bring the child." She replied with a nod. She was ready to fight, uncertain what she would actually be going into. The child was important... important enough she would be killed if she failed.

Suddenly the portal opened and Lash smiled, it was time to see his son and to kill the abomination. Stepping aside he let the other psions and thugs go first before stepping through the portal.

The woman let the men run in first... after all there was a reason she had made it this far. But then she went in before the psions after all, she needed to get her hands on that child.
