2008-10-01 [Jitter]: Ok so my ability to trace where derivatives come from isn't yet gone. I did understand what happened in the end, yes. And I loved this story to bits <3
2008-10-01 [Linderel]: Didn't mean the end, though. I meant their relationship. :)
2008-10-01 [Chimes]: I love it. Really, really. <3
2008-10-01 [Linderel]: =^___^=
2008-10-01 [Chimes]: Is this part of your shadow for the Written part of the Portfolio contest?
2008-10-01 [Linderel]: Aye, 'tis. :3
2008-10-01 [Chimes]: Aren't you glad I asked you about adding a written part now? XD
2008-10-01 [Linderel]: Haha, yes, it turned out to be quite the good idea. :P
My initial pessimistic attitude had very much to do with my previous experiences with writing contests on Elftown... glad to be proven wrong on that point!
2008-10-01 [Jitter]: Only now that you mentioned it Lin. But it is probably me and my fried senses that get dumper by the minute :P ;)
2008-10-01 [Linderel]: Hehe. Maybe you should go to bed? :P
2008-10-02 [Jitter]: I did :) And I reread this. And I still love it :D
2008-10-02 [Linderel]: Bwih. ^_^
2008-10-06 [Triola]: I might have a one track mind, but I totally get twincest out of this :P
2008-10-06 [Linderel]: HA!
Not perhaps specifically twincest, but it is incest either way. I love you. <3
I seriously didn't even intend to make it so. Originally the narrator and the girl were supposed to be childhood sweethearts or something. Then it sort of, erm, morphed. Into this. Yeah.
2008-10-06 [Triola]: It was the "our ninth summer" that made me think of twins :3
Love you too :D And it was beautiful <3
2008-10-06 [Linderel]: Oh look. I didn't even remember that phrase. They, as a matter of fact, are twins. :D Or were. Whatever.
Bwih. :3 <3
2008-10-06 [Triola]: Probably a left over phrase from when you thought they were merely sweethearts :P
2008-10-06 [Linderel]: Nope, I don't think so. By the time I was writing that particular paragraph they were firmly siblings. I'm just getting early dementia. :P
2008-10-06 [Triola]: Haha, that is also a probable reason :P You can join Viking in the Alzheimer-brig
2008-10-06 [Linderel]: Whooo xD
2008-11-16 [Danno]: very good, i enjoyed that. this may sound a bit flippant, and i don't mean it like that in the least, but it's a sort of throw away story: it doesn't have the sort of chockablock feeling you get with novels and things (obviously being a short story would have something to do with this, but i've read and written quite a few in my time and this one just feels different ;P)
I get bored alot more easily with short stories because of the lack of stuff to come, as i'm always more comfortable with the sort of buffer a novel gives so i don't have to be grabbed straight away.
while i wouldn't say this one "grabbed" me in the way i'd like normally, it felt so light and sort of user-friendly that my eyes got dragged through the whole thing before i realised what was going on ^^
i'm going to go have a look at some of the others now, and i'll be keeping my eye on this wiki :)
