----- The Houses in Xiadom ----
The House of Juro - The house of Juro is formed mainly by businessmen, landlords and entrepeneur, they handle most of the finances uin Xiadom, always under an imperial representative, they have no fondness for strategy, war or the members of Akako, in the old times of the inner conflicts within Xiadom they would always hire mercenaries to fight for them, when the summons are heard throughout Xiadom for a war of the Empire, they still hire mercenaries rather than send their sons to battle.
The House of Akako - The house of Akako controls the largest military enclave in Xiadom, there are the greatest trainers of Samurai and Fencers in the Realms, they are, however, not very fond of the members of the House of Juro. Jiro Li is a member of the house of Akako through marriage.
The House of Huan - The House of Huan is formed mainly by philosophers and thinkers, they sponsor many of the large monasteries in Xiadom with the income from their rice fields. The monks in return, help them in dire times, many of these house have turned to the path of enlightment as monks.
The House of Yasu - The House of Yasu is probably the weakest of the houses of Xiadom, their territory is the small city of Yasu to the south of the Kaerul Hills, Due to their position Yasu has always been under the constant threat of Dah'kin incursions, that is the reason why Yasu samurai are experts in fighting the heavily armored Dah'kin warriors.

- Xiadomians do not enjoy urban life, they are much more willing to live in the fields and open country than to gather in cities.
- Xiadomian build structures with light materials, mostly wood and even paper, they rarely use stone except for military enclaves.
