The Gang had been standing there for quite some time, looking out on the empty scene where Jon and his mysterious attacker had been moments ago. Time was still frozen, and they were still in the middle of the 9/11 attacks that were about to destroy the very buildings they were standing in.

“So…what do we do?” Richard finally asked.

Kenzi looked up and over at the time-remote in Richard’s hand. “We’ve got the remote, let’s just get home, and hope that Jon is smart enough to meet us there.”

Richard shook his head. “I’ve already tried explaining this to you. All five of us have to go back. Not just four, all of us. And what do we do about poor Aero?” He of course was referring to their jet-black jaguar friend standing nearby.

“We can’t just leave him.” Kaitlin said, wringing her hands..

“But he’s got his own time-remote!” Kenzi shouted. “You all saw it! He can go home too.”

There was a pause, in which everyone stared nervously at Kenzi.

“Kenzi, there is the possibility that Jon never got the remote. He might have just been sent through time. And if he is, then he’s trapped, and needs our help.” Richard said.

Kenzi sighed. “Fine then, let’s do this.”

They all stepped back from the window, and Richard held out his hand in the form of a fist. “Who’s with me?”

Kaitlin put her hand in the middle, followed by Kenzi’s whose scowl had lessened. “Let’s get Jon, and save the world.” She added in a slightly sarcastic tone.

Richard smiled, and looked over to see Brian still looking out the window.

“Face it Brian, you’re human again, so just get used to it.”

Brian sighed long and hard, but finally turned around and put his hand in the center too. Aero stepped forward, and nudged their hands with her nose.

“Okay people; where in the universe is Jon?” Richard asked.

Kaitlin looked down at the remote, and then back up at Richard. “What was that thing you did with the remote to find Jon and Kenzi the first time?”

“Yeah, I was wondering how you guys found us.” Kenzi added in.

“And I was wondering why I wasn’t a ghost!” Brian added in angrily.

Richard quickly held up the remote, and turned on the silver screen. “There’s this little feature that shows time disturbances; I just locked on to the nearest one after you guys had first disappeared, which just happened to be the right one.”

“Well, just lock onto the next nearest one. Jon’s probably already screwed history over by now.”

Richard looked back down on the silver screen, and started shifting through the long line of time. There were now several tiny disturbances scattered about in specific points, but they were so far nothing he hadn't yet encountered before. Then he saw something unusual.

It was back in the Nephite times, but quite a few years further ahead from when they first appeared. Where they had appeared, the screen was filled with quite a few spikes. This…it wasn’t a spike; it was just somewhere where the line rose vertically, and then descended back into order. It wasn’t a time disturbance, or at least in the conventional sense.

Brian noticed it too, and pointed right at the screen. “That’s weird. Is that Jon?”

Richard shook his head. “I don’t know. I’d like to say it’s something I’ve never seen before on here, but then again, I’ve never even seen things on here before up until recently.”

Kenzi looked at it also and shook her head. “Typical. Jon goes somewhere and does something that even time can’t understand.”

“So, we’re going back to the Book of Mormon?” Kaitlin asked hesitantly.

Richard thought for a moment, and then hit the select button. “We’ll never know if we don’t go…”

Everyone stood close together, and Richard pushed the button. There was the already very familiar bright flash of light, and the Gang was wisped away. As they disappeared, time continued, and the very spot they had been standing moments ago was vaporized instantly.

In a flash of bright light, Jon came hurdling from the sky towards the ground. He tucked in his legs, and rolled across the grass. Thanks to judo he didn’t break a thing, but he was still sore from the impact. He sat up, and looked to see that indeed was still holding onto the remote he’d taken from the character in mid-flight. The dials all still glowed, so he nodded with an approval, and pocketed it.

Looking around, he realized that he was sitting on a very grassy hill, overlooking a very lush forest. He headed down the hill, and into the nearby valley. The closer he got, the more beautiful he realized the trees looked. In fact, he’d never seen trees like these before in his life. He knew they were deciduous, but they were so alive and truly a sight to behold. As he looked around he began to notice that everything looked just as alive and amazing with nature. Even the sky seemed a little brighter than normal.

As he continued walking through the valley, he crossed through into the forest. Even with trees up and all around him, the forest seemed to be so bright and alive. He crossed over a small creek, and saw several deer and elk crossing too, or drinking from it. They seemed to take no notice to his presence. The water looked like pure crystal, and even he had to try some. Just being in this forest made him happy.

As he continued, dancing a little as he walked, he finally came out on the other side, and saw a large clearing. In it were two figures standing near a tree. Ah, finally some to talk to and find out where he was. However, as he got closer, he could hear them talking, and noticed something even stranger; they were both naked.

“So Eve, got any fruit?”

“Yeah, a little…”
