The Chimera originates from Greek mythology, and is characterised as a creature with the head of a lion, body of a she-goat and the tail of a dragon. The Chimera can also be depicted, although not in the Greek mythology, to have three heads: those of a lion, a ram and a dragon. The Chimera occasionally is depicted as a creature with wings that are those of a great eagle.
