2011-10-18 [Nioniel]: I like it. :) I've been curious about copic markers, too, especially after seeing so much of [Rice]'s work. Her's always come out so pretty. There's suuper expensive though, from what she's told me, so I haven't even started seriously looking.

Very pretty job on this, though. :)

2011-10-18 [Yuriona]: Thank you. :) They are expensive. I paid around $95 Canadian for 12 of them and I believe single markers were around $6-7 each. The up side though is that they are refillable and that's cheaper than a new pen. They are also a dream to work with, they flow and layer almost like water colours since they're alcohol based (i think) plus you can use a blender to work them a bit like water colours too. I like them muchly.

Refillable is neat though, I didn't know that about them. How'd they work on regular printer paper? Did they bleed at all/much?

2011-10-18 [Yuriona]: Yeah it is but the quality is amazing. I'd suggest starting maybe with a few gray shades to play with to test them out rather than going out and buying a set. I had used them before in a work environment and had an idea of what to expect.

This one I did is on regular printer paper and it does bleed through a bit but not as bad as other permanent markers would. I was concerned with it weakening the paper like water based markers do but the paper held up really well even with multiple applications.
