how [travs the bean] does a print
It all starts with a sketch and a thought- In all the trials I use every aspect that I teach. Especially the planning stage. I never realized how important that was to effective illustrating. I look at every aspect - from what is found on the islands to the flora and animal life if any. There is alwasy order to my choas that I promise.
After I sketch out the illustration of 8x11 i then put it down on a larger sheet- this is actual size. I make sure i choose the right overlays fro my breaks and depth the world. I try not clutter and focus on making it multi demensional- The key for me is I want you to want to climb in that world and be a part of it.
