Ihmiset jotka tapasin Englannissa. Olen varma etten ikinä unohda heitä... Ainakaan suurinta osaa. :P Aakkosjärjestyksessä, tai no ainakin melkeen... pari tärkeintä mainittuna ekana tietty. :P
People I met in England. I am sure that I will never forget (most of :P) them. In alphabetical order, or well at least, nearly... the most important ones mentioned first. :P


Isabel
Miun kämppis, kotoisin Brasiliasta. Se on oikee enkeli, ette uskokaan. Eli, se opiskelee italiaa ja englantia tokaa vuotta yliopistossa, ekaa vuotta Coventryssa. Me tavattiin Birminghamin lentokentällä 20. syyskuuta 2004. Ihmiset jotka oli menossa Coventryyn kokoontui Mousumin ympärille, ja se kysyi meiltä kummaltakin että missä me asutaan tervetulo-viikon jälkeen. Molemmat vastattiin että yliopiston omistamassa talossa. Yllättyneinä katottiin toisiamme ja kysyttiin että missä. Kumpakin vastattiin että Barras Lanella. Sitten kysyttiin että missä numerossa, molemmat vastasi 71. Missä huoneessa... A1 ja A2 eli ullakko-kerroksen tupla-huone. Ihmeellistä. Kaikista uusista oppilaista minä tututstun tulevaan kämppikseeni lentokentällä... ihanaa.
          Kun minä tapasin Isabelin ekaa kertaa, se oli hurjan pelottava. Se tuli hurjan lähelle, tuijotti hurjan lähelle ja puhui hurjan nopeasti. Myöhemmin se kertoi miulle etta sen eka vaikutelma oli et mia naytin ihan yliopisto-opiskelijalta, mutta et mia en varmaan ollut eka-vuotinen, koska mia vaikutin niin itsevarmalta. Itse asiassa mia hoippuroin ympari lentokenttaa yrittaen loytaa Coventryn keltaiseen puseroon pukeutuneen ihmisen.
My roommate, from Brazil. She is a real angel, you have no idea... So, she studies English and Italian for the second year in university, first year in Coventry. We met in the Birmingham International Airport on 20th of september. People going to Coventry were gathering around Mousumi and she asked us both where we will be staying after the welcome-week. We both answered that in a university-owned house. Then we looked at each other surprisedly and asked where abouts. Both answered Barras Lane. Which number? 71. Which room? A1 and A2, so the twin-room in the attick... Amazing, isn't it? Out of all the new international students, I meet my future roommate in the airport.
        When I first met her, I found her a bit intimidating. She came really close when she spoke, stared straight into my eyes and spoke really fastly. Later she told me that her first impression of me was that I could be a uni-student, but probably not an international first-year because I seemed so confident. Actually I was wandering around the airport trying to find the yellow-sweatshirt wearing Coventry Uni -person.

Eve
Isabelin ystava Liverpoolista. Ne tutustui vuosia sitten kun kumpikin oli Hullin yliopistossa.
Isabel's friend from Liverpool. They met in the university of Hull years ago when they were both on their BA there.


Gugu
Etela-Afrikasta, tekee MBA:ta taalla. Silla on tytar Lulu taalla myos. Tavattiin Alpha-kurssilla.
From South Africa, she does an MBA here. She also has a daughter, Lulu. I met them in the Alpha-course.


Henna
Tokan vuoden business-opiskelija Kiinasta. Loistava kokki. :P Vei miut AK:lle ekaa kertaa.
A second-year business-student from China. A great cook. She took me to the Alpha Course in the first place.


Jenjen
Se oli tervetulo-viikolla Ulkomaalaisten auttaja-henkilo ja sitten jalleen Alpha-kurssilla. Oli hyva kun me tultiin, naa pienet Kiinalaiset tytot auttoi isoi intialaisii poikii kantamaa niitten tavarat bussista pois.
She was an international student helper in the welcome week, and then again I met her in the Alpha-course. It was very funny to watch on the first day, these small Chinese girls helping these big indian boys to carry their luggage from the bus.


Kim and Sue
Molemmat on miun kanssa BA Fine Art -oppilaita ekaa vuotta.
They both do the same course as me - Ba Fine Art.


Kirsty and Frances
Mun kurssilla - Kirsty tekee BA Fine Artia niinku miakii, Frances tekee Fine Art & Dance. Ne on aikas kuul.
In my course - Kirsty does BA Fine Art like me, Frances is on joint award: Fine Art & Dance. They're kindas cool.


Lulu
Gugun tytar, noin nelja (mia oon aina huono lasten i'issa). Mia haen sen toisinaan torstaisin koulusta, kun Gugun tunnit loppuu vasta kuudelta ja Lulun koulu loppuu jo kolmelta. Tavattiin "siella kirkossa missa syodaan."
Gugu's daughter, approximately four years old (I always suck at the ages of children). I get her from school occasionally on thursdays, because Gugu has lecture til six, and Lulu's school ends at three. I met her "at the church where we eat."


Marjis
Hah. Se oli au pairina Oxfordissa, mutta tuli jo takaisin Suomeen.
Heh. She was an au pair in Oxford, but she returned to Finland already.



Mousumi & Sen Aiti (And her mom)
Myos Tervetuloviikolla toissa. Se vastaanotti meidat Birminghamin lentokentalla. Me (Isabel, ma ja Marjis) mentiin uutena vuonna sen kotiin, tavattiin sen aiti ja sen kamppis Ting. Hurjan kivaa, me pelattiin Unoa ja Scrabblea. ^'^
Also worked during the Welcome Week. She was the one who fetched us from the Birmingham International. We (Isabel, me and Marjis) went to her house on New Year's to celebrate. It was uber, we played Uno and Scrabble. ^'^
