very upset today...
neighbours destroyed my garden!
torn up 1/2 of all the plants in my garden
most of the plants are broken right out of the soil by their roots and toss them to a different parts of the garden or broke off the plants... broke their stems... and twisted and broke in two Eirikr's 5 yr old oak sapling! the one we planted at his birth!
b/c they had a drunk party yesterday and were throwing thier cig butts into our backyard with our dog... so Bill my husband complained to them.. he watched them throw them.. so after a arguement we called the police on them
and if they start and arguement about my husband telling them not to toss cig butts in our backyard with our dog
if they cause over a $1100 of damage for us calling the police about that arguement where they called my hubby a drug user in front of our son!
what are they to do next?
but they been bitchs to us for a long time...
b/c this is a slum shithole place to live
and I hate it so they destroyed

I work hard to make it pleasing and beautiful...

this is a garden Ive won an honourable meantion in the city garden contest and has been in the newpaper for! ... in 41 years this is my first garden... that is mine... my work! 5 yrs of work!
we are waiting for the police to arrive...
my son was crying to go to school today b/c of his oak tree... there are some plants that arent destroyed but not my roses or iris or daylilys or lavender or many others... most all are rip up and broke!
all in all Im very upset and crying and ill... thank you... to all my friends for your support!

charge them with Vandalism (they call it mischief)
we have had the police over to see the damage
and we have written up a list of what was damaged and destroyed... and to the best our knowledge we are putting together a price of the damage, it filled a 2'x2' box!

Im glad I took as many photos as I did of my garden... but I wont get the flowering of the roses or iris or daylilys... those have been destroyed... more than half of all my flowering plants were destroyed before they got to bloom... lavender and lily of the valley... tonnes of plants! Im so upset.. I can barely think straight...
Eirikr was crying to go to school.. his oak tree was very speacial! he knew it was his oak tree!
we have 3 other oak saplings... that we are donating to the city... I orignally spouted 100 acorns.. I gave most away to friends.. about 30 I kept... of them 4 grew up and survived...
the one was Eirikr speacial tree it was always separate from the others... we had it for Eirikr in its own pot... than it was planted... separate... it has always been Eirikr speacial oak tree...
the other thing speacial about this oak tree
90% of all buried acorns dont sprout...
that why I was so surprized that so many of the acorns I collected when pregnant with Eirikr spouted!
it was a first for me!
the garden wont ever be the same.. and this was maybe my last summer here.. I want to get as much of it photograghed this year to show all my 5 yrs work... but with more than half the plants killed or damaged.. they are going to flower! cant believe how bad it is out there...
there are well over 100 plants broken! bushes... and shrubs... and flowers and everything! fill a 2'x2' box with broken plants...
most its rich rich homes.. but we live in a rental town house unit... its the tiny slum of Oakville! I try to make it nice and beautiful.. Ive worked for 5 yrs on my garden.. they have torn up plants that are 3 to 5 years old... that wont come back! not this summer maybe never!
this was suppose to be our last summer to enjoy this garden... b/c we are planning to move... we lost seeing these plants flower this year.. I was hoping to take photos of my garden each time the new round of plants came into bloom... but now I cant...
thing is that this year the broken plants wont flower... and we are suppose to move... so this was my last summer to get photos... of my 5yrs of work! so maybe next year there will come back and flower... but with so much damage its not good... perrianals make green all summer but only flower for a week to a month...
we added up the damages at $1132.00... Eirikr's oak tree was priced at $130... but that doesnt take into account that it was HIS oak tree spouted from an acorn while I was pregnant with him and planted at his birth!
I really wish the police would take more of an interest in it... I feel that having a person destroyed damage and break my property causing $1132 of damage not considering emotional stress all the labour and the emotionanal value of Eirikr's tree and my garden! would be abit more important!
... if it had been a car... would that be more important?

Oh moira...I myself am in tears. The bastards...If I could I would beet them to a bloody pulp for doing what they did. on 7PM of June 1st 2006
I called the police and they came today... basical... she is not admiting she did it... and b/c we didnt 'catch' her doing it the police are like 'you cant prove she did it'.. she also told the police we slashed her tires! but only after they came to her house today! if your car tires were slashed.. ONE how would you drive your car everyday?.. TWO wouldnt you phone the police right away!?! its so fustrating! I have to prove she did it... what am I a CSI ??? Since when is the the victim who has to prove the crime!?! I thought it was the police that had to find the criminals... not the criminals who admit to doing the crime! How many criminals walk in to police stations and admit to the crimes they commited?
