2008-11-01 [Hedda]: Ha, I got the polar bears and fish right! <img:stuff/dand-gif.gif>

2008-11-01 [Mordigen]: ....I still don't get it, even with the answers *snorts* I don't get the formula of how to derrive at that answer LOL, but I haven't spent much time on trying to figure it out either XD

2008-11-01 [Hedda]: The fishes are pretty hard to count, but the bears are easy. Compare with the 0-page and the imagine polar bears around a hole.

Then you can always do an equation system with the fishes. It's not so hard thanks to that you know that 2, 4 and 6 have 0 fishes:

All values integers >= 0.
1*Five + 1*Three = 6       (1)
2*Five + 1*Three + 1*One = 14  (2)
1*Five + 2*One = ?

So we just try Five=0,1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6
Five=0 gives One=8, which makes no sense
Five=1 gives One=7, which makes no sense
Five=2 gives One=6, which might make sense
Five=3 gives One=5, which might make sense
Five=4 gives One=4, which are the same, discard?
Five=5 gives One=3, which might make sense
Five=6 gives One=2, which might make sense

But if you know that the fishes are under the sea and how dice are numbered, one of these makes much more sense than the others.

2008-11-01 [Mordigen]: wow, yea see, I would have never put that much thought into it LOL
