My name is Jim. I am a 5th degree black belt in Taekwondo. I have been fascinated by fanatsy art ever since I first picked up the old AD&D Monster Manual. I tried for many years to get good. IT was a struggle.

Enter computer drawing programs. With a computer, if you get a part of the picture the way you want it, but it is in the wrong place, you can move it. If one part is out of proportion you can enlarge or shrink it. With pen and paper, you have to start over each time.

Also, if you mess something up, and need to erase, you can retry infinite times.

Slowly, ever so slowly, over the last 20 years, I gradually developed some drawing skills. Today, I am a pretty fair artist and can even sketch with pencil and paper, but I still prefer using the computer. It is what I learned on, it is what I am best at.
