Faith in God is so important.
I learn this more & more as time goes by.
Less of me, more of Him.

I had to write my own creed for a Philosophy class, Christian History & Thought.
Here's what I came up with.

Michael’s Creed
I believe in our creator, God, and that he does good work.
I believe that the freedom of choice he gave us was more than we could handle.
I believe he became man in the form of his son Jesus Christ to show us how it should be done.
I believe that God has a plan for each of us and Jesus proved that following the plan can change the world.
I believe that God is still with us in the form of the Holy Spirit to guide us and help us.
I believe that God is love, and when we act out of love, what we do will always be right.
I believe that we are all the church.
I believe that there is no limit to God’s forgiveness.
I believe that if we will choose him we will spend eternity with him.


Choices seem so easy when you are looking at someone else's life.
I guess we never really see inside their world.

I seek understanding.
Internal & external.

I wish there was less sadness in the world.
I wish more people got a fairer shake in life.
I wish more people were happy.
I wish more people knew love.
I wish more people would choose to try.

What I truly Love:
I love my God. (He is true)
I love my wife. (we have chosen each other)
I love my kids. (they have blessed my life)
I love my work. (I feel it is my calling)

What I like so much it feels like love:
I love my motorcycle.
I love my dogs.
I love coffee.
I love learning.
I love music.
I love hiking.
I love to listen.
I love to help.

If you've experienced anything but love in relation to Jesus, you're talking to the wrong people.
I became a real Christian a few years ago and that has become the most significant guiding force in my life.
I used to have MAJOR doubts about any kind of higher power.
But I have found much comfort & direction through my belief in Christ.

It has changed my world & it can do the same for you.
One of the main things it can do for you is to get your focus past yourself.
Our society has created the mindset of selfishness and this is not good for our lives.
If you think about whatever wrong has happened in your life, there is probably selfishness behind it.
Either your own or someone else's affecting you.
