[Yin Man]

[Nymphette]

[Aikon I]

[Bumsoft]

[Sahya]

If I've missed anyone off then don't hesitate to ask and I'll put you on here right away.

[Some Riddles]

I really love to write and read poems stories. All poems and stories I read are usually Fantasy or Science fiction and definately all the poems and stories I write are fantasy only. I also enjoy writing riddles though I haven't written one in a while. Here is a riddle which I found somewhere that I thought was very clever:

"My thunder comes before the lightning;
my lightning comes before the clouds;
my rain dries all the land it touches.
What am I?"

Kudos for anyone who can tell me the answer and extra kudos for anyone who can tell me where I found it.

Another, very short riddle which I have goes as follows:

'What gets bigger every time you take away from it?'

The answer is a real thing and not a number or anything daft like that. Again, kudos for anyone who can tell me the answer.

One final riddle though not a very good one I admit (and it rhymes too, how sad):

'What's born thick and dies thin, ends light but starts dim, that's created by fire to poison air and finds its way everywhere?'

Mucho kudos to anyone who can tell me the answer to all three.

[What dragon am I?]

There is a cool website which a good friend told me about called Dragonhame; well I've done the quiz and found that I am a:

[Mithril Dragon]

In the war between good and evil, Mithril Dragons take the side of the noble and good.
When it comes to the powers of Chaos vs. those of Law and Order, your inner dragon walks a fine line between Law and Chaos.
As far as magical tendancies, Magical spells come as natural to the Mithril Dragon as breathe from it's body.
During combat situations, a true Mithril Dragon prefers to defeat opponents by the use of spells and other tactics.

[Dragon Description]:

Mithril Dragons build and dwell in castles of crystal, high in the mountainous regions. A Mithril Dragon is honest and gentle.

Mithril Dragons are armored with highly reflective scales. To see one in bright sunshine has the effect of looking at a multi-ton, 150 ft. long disco ball.

They tend to smile frequently but rarely laugh aloud. Mithril's dislike violence. A Mithril Dragon is very selective when choosing close friends, but is generally admired by all. A Mithril Dragon leads a very quiet and unobtrusive life.Never judgmental, the great Mithril Dragon's feelings run deep and true. Mithril Dragons mate for life.

If you find yourself curious as to what your inner dragon is then I suggest taking the quiz at http://dragonhame.com/quiz.html

Right, so I found a website that seems to be by the same person, except for your inner wizard instead. So here is mine:

[ Sorceror ]

In the war between good and evil, a Sorceror tends to walk the fine line of Neutrality.I am gifted with the elemental plane of Fire.

A Sorceror creates magic the way a poet creates poems, with inborn talent honed by practice. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Some Sorceror' claim that the blood of dragons courses through their veins. It may even be true-it is common knowledge that certain powerful dragons can take humanoid form and even have humanoid lovers, and it’s difficult to prove that a given a Sorceror does not have a dragon ancestor. A Sorceror often has striking good looks, usually with a
touch of the exotic that hints at an unusual heritage. Still, the claim that a Sorceror is partially draconic is either an unsubstantiated boast on the part of a certain Sorceror or envious gossip on the part of those who lack the Sorceror's gift.

You have a fiery personality, and thus your powers are highly attuned to the elemental plane of fire. Some of the more powerfull spells in your arsenal include Fireball, Burning Hands, and Flame Strike.

If you're interested in finding out your inner wizard then I suggest trying the quiz at: http://WizardSoul.Com

[My vampiric name]

Yet another website that decides what you are, this time it's a vampire name generator. Right, well here is my "vampire" name (along with a tiny bit of info):

The Great Archives determine you to have gone by the identity:

[Jack Wolf]

Known in some parts of the world as:

[Wraith of Wallachia]

The Great Archives Record:

[Died and rose again in the name of eternal love.]

It's actually pretty cool, and there is a fairy name generator as well as a free rune casting also available; so if you want to give it a try the web addresses are:

http://www.emmadavies.net/vampire/default.aspx for the vampire name generator

http://www.emmadavies.net/fairy/default.aspx for the fairy name generator

http://www.emmadavies.net/runes/default.aspx for the free rune casting

And http://www.emmadavies.net/ for the main page

[Favorite Books]

I love books and anything I can read. My favorite book has got to be 'Forgotten beasts of Eld' by Patricia A. McKillip; and my favorite series is probably either the 'Shadowleague' series by Maggie Furey or 'The Belgariad' and 'The Malloreon' (each a series of 5 books and all connected, so The Belgariad is kind of like the prologue to The Malloreon) both written by David Eddings though the Malloreon I think was written with help from Leigh Eddings. I only ever read fantasy books unless someone recomends another non-fantasy book to me in which case I will give it a try as I am almost certain to enjoy it. So if you know any good books then give me a hollar please.

[A few quotations]

I love quotes from books and other such things, and here is a few of my favorite quotes, mostly from books, poems or plays that I have read or seen, though there are a few that I've just heard or seen around places.

You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight? -Joker, from the movie 'Batman'

"All that is gold does not glitter; not all those that wander are lost." -J.R.R. Tolkien (The Fellowship of the Ring, 1954)

"All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others." -George Orwell (Animal Farm)

"Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have" -Rabbi H. Schachtel (1954)

"This above all: to thine own self be true" -William Shakespeare

"Blind are the sighted and deaf the hearing...only those who look within will find truth." -Sean Russell (Gatherer of clouds)

"The giant Grof was hit in one eye by a stone, and that eye turned inward so that it looked into his mind and he died of what he saw there" -Patricia McKillip (The forgotten beasts of Eld)

There are a lot more quotes and I could go on forever but that would bore you all to death so I'll just stop here.

[Favorite Poems]

Firstly, the ones not written by me but by real poets.

TICHBORNE'S ELEGY

My prime of youth is but a frost of cares,
My feast of joy is but a dish of pain,
My crop of corn is but a field of tares,
And all my good is but vain hope of gain.
The day is past, and yet I saw no sun,
And now I live, and now my life is done.

My tale was heard and yet it was not told,
My fruit is fallen and yet my leaves are green;
My youth is spent and yet I am not old,
I saw the world and yet I was not seen.
My thread is cut and yet it is not spun,
And now I live, and now my life is done.

I sought my death and found it in the womb,
I looked for life and saw it was a shade;
I trod the earth and knew it was my tomb,
And now I die, and now I was but made.
My glass is full, and now my glass is run,
And now I live, and now my life is done.

JABBERWOCKY

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
 Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
 And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
 The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
 The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
 Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
 And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
 The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
 And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
 The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
 He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
 Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
 He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
 Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
 And the mome raths outgrabe.

[My Poems]

Now, ones written by me (They aren't that good so be warned)

WHY?

Such a pointless miracle is the spark of life;
It sets alight a candle to burn slowly in it's place,
Only to be snuffed out again;
Snuffed simply because some divine power willed it to die.

DARKNESS

I am Darkness, eater of light,
I am a shade as black as coal,
Bringer of fear and remover of sight,
Thief of the sun, I dampen your soul,
I find my way to the greatest height,
I sink down into every hole,
For I am Darkness; absence of light,
Your joy is my prize, the treasure I stole.

LIFE

Merely a spark in the ceaseless flames of time,
Only a drop in the endless sea of knowledge,
Simply a breeze in the eternal winds of change.

This is my wiki with a questionnaire thing that should give you all more of a clue as to what I'm like...if you actually want to
