Like rusty nails within My heart, so is the beauty which I see,
Which stings Me like a poisoned dart, and takes no notice of Me;
Though ever fierce I toil and train, and Forge My Body Firm,
In spite of the depths of My mind, more esteem find's the worm;
Though Child I save, and giants I fell, though demons I subdue..
..Conduct Myself in Honour fair, more regard see's the shrew;
Though dress Myself in garment fine and groom in Manner quite divine,
FunLoving full, and full in wit, yet glorified am I as spit;
Good have I done to man and beast, and hosted I many a fine feast,
Prove I Great Merit, time and again, yet aknowledged as if the least;
My fellow men have I delivered from the jaws of death,
Bold battled I, as they all quivered, and gasped in fear for breath;
Full lost were they on darkened day, their leader I became,
To safety follwed Me, they all, I spoke not of their shame;
As close we came to masses vast, well hailed was our return,
Then came injustice haughtily, in Rage My heart still Burns;
Rewards were given to scallywags, wot left all up to Me,
Yet as I looked to My own hands, Nothing there did I see;
Daily full hard do I wish this were but a foul tale,
Alas, My body bears the scars from Thorns along the trail;
Nightly do I pander, and ever My thoughts wander full tortured in regret
of things I'll not forget,
I risked My all for sake of they who foul, My Noble Deeds repay;
Relentless is the Revelation which graces Me no consolation,
For in this wretched day and age a Hero is forsaken,
While what was rightfully His in ages past are by the masses taken,
That illbreds may in comfort live, know they not, they're mistaken..
For Heros Heart is often Hard, now Forged in Wrath is Harder still,
The Wellbred Warrior who was raised to boldly Fight and swiftly Kill,
The common ones who Him neglect, in foolishness, Him they reject,
For Two kinds of folk This Man See's: tis either Friends, or Enemies,
And if cruelty they give to He who treated them as Family,
And give betrayal for Loyalty, in what way can His friends they be?
And how treats He, His enemy? Poor wretches, for they soon shall see...
