SunFlowers

Sunflowers by that sacred door
I swear, they grow more and more
Like my love for you
They reach high

Towards that sun
They eclipse the moon
And whisper love in June
And green shoots

That wrap in infinite tendrils
Around my love I shall be
I’ll keep him warm
Inside of me, in the sun

His flowering heart shall remain
Look towards the sun
Deep in golden bounty
We are both rich, beyond compare

And there I will lay, sunflower petals scattered at my feet
Waiting for you
A chance to dream
Golden dusted petals I hold in the palm of my hand

I blow a kiss to you

Of sunflower’ed petals
They wash over you, a kiss soft and true

"No such thing as Forever endeavour"

No need for complications.
I got him and you got her.
No need for returned emotions anymore.
you sing of her
and I'll sing for him, from now on.
Wherever life takes you,
I know it'll always be someone else.
We had our chance long ago
and it's time to move on.
Time to accept that love and friendship,
is no longer in the cards for us.
No need for complications,
No need for reoccurring emotions.
I'll miss you
and remember you, with the best of memories.
Not like this.

Willow & Zephyr

The gentle Willow I am
does not compare to
supple Summer's breeze,
that unquiet Zephyr
that chills the very core of me
and raises every warmth
to the surface of too,
too longing flesh.
Each bone and sinew
woven like armor,
draping shuddering
verdure clinging like
madness to the broken
framework of frozen limbs,
cracked and weakened,
but these roots grow deep
without sweet Zephyr's touch,
the final barrier
against such an onslaught
as this –
this berating of the senses,
all soft lines
and yielding forms,
ever changing
like swiftly-passing seasons
tumbling one over another
without the careful
guidance of Nature's law,
which constricts only those
who cannot feel as we,
our hearts in tangles
and an ache
not unlike love
that grows beneath.

an·noy·ing /əˈnoi-iNG/ adj.

The mockingbird vigorously emulates
the sirens at
1 o'clock in the morning,
pleased with itself
for being so terribly clever.
