2008-08-02 [Lord Dog]: Do you feel the need to defend or attack votes? It is an opinion poll after...

2008-08-02 [Paul Doyle]: Well, if there was a Photoshopped Richard Simmons cop-out job traipsing about the final voting selection, then there'd be cause for an uproar. Hell, we'd sooner settle for fully made-up Gene Simmons of KISS as a fairy! But I digress. Boys and girls and the rest of you, do consider this:

A teddy bear with wings is not a stinkin' big deal. If you don't like it, vote for something else.

Kapiche, pizon?

2008-08-04 [Morningstar Rising]: I voted for the fourth one cause it reminded me of me, having my coffee with my invisible fairy wings, while roaming through Elftown. LOL

2008-08-05 [arthemis_]: That's cool! Lol. What is atypical of the third entry? I keep on looking at it, trying to find out. Can somebody explain it to me? I would like to know :)

2008-08-05 [NOOOPE]: it's a furry. You know, an animal person. Note the cat head.

2008-08-05 [arthemis_]: Ahh ofcourse! *slams head*

2008-08-09 [Mödi]: I like the third one. The bear looks too bland to me, and nothing like what you would imagine a faerie would be. I know it's supposed to be Atypical, but still, that's pushing the limit a little too far. D is alright, but it's not great quality. And while faeries were pretty messed up creatures in terms of true appearances, A is just too weird. I would consider it the epitomy of atypical if it weren't for the fact that it's seriously off kilter of what I'd be looking for. And thus, I go with C. ^_^

2008-08-11 [a vamp named spaz]: i think c is really REALLY lame.... i picked D

2008-08-15 [Morphea]: Is it just me or is this a VERY slow going vote ?

2008-08-15 [Papa Don't Preach]: I Picked A
I think its just awesome

2008-08-15 [Paul Doyle]: I voted on july 28th, and have advertised this poll in other places. But if the dust bothers you, there's a few feather-dusters over in the corner ----->

2008-08-18 [Todd van elslande]: D is the best one.
hell yeah ^^

2008-08-20 [Morphea]: How many votes are needed?

2008-08-20 [My Chemical Erin]: AWW! I loove the bear, thats so cute! Really different idea of what a fairy is :P hence the reason why I voted for that one.

2008-08-20 [Paul Doyle]: I'm not at all claiming to be an expert, but the general practice (I believe) was 1000 votes. However, seeing how these polls are a LOT slower-moving than they used to be, maybe we could reconsider the final vote tally limit?

2008-08-20 [windowframe]: The final vote tally was already lowered for the last few contest polls. The problem with this one is that there aren't actually huge difference in the amount of votes for each entry, though the lead for entry C *is* growing now.

2008-08-20 [Paul Doyle]: Maybe cap it at 500, or do a run-off between the two selections with the highest votes? Again, just suggestions.

2008-08-20 [windowframe]: I'm hoping we have a clear enough winner by 500 to not need that, because that would be yet another poll, which would be up for a week, and the Magic newbie contest art & photography contests still need to have their polls, too.

2008-08-25 [Mikie9191]: [windowframe]... good points well put.
I can see a clear winner here :P

2008-08-26 [Paul Doyle]: The Tortoise defeated the Hare, but even the second-pace Hare moved faster than this poll :P

2008-08-26 [Paul Doyle]: And whaddayanno, we have a winner! Just like that! Now onto the next poll . . .
