I am an atheist - I know, *gasp* OMNG!!! Not a rabid atheist, or a militant atheist, just your good ol' run of the mill "no god, no supernatural, no afterlife" rational freethinker. Be happy to discuss it, but not to argue. 

Bellydance is my current passion. I am a student of Sonya Taft, an excellent teacher and beautiful dancer. ATS is a bit different from the cabaret fusion I've been learning, but I'll get the hang of it, right?

Juggling flowersticks and making horrid sounds on my digeridoo are just a few of my hobbies. 

I love anime, movies, music, and books - not necessarily in that order.

the Kushiel series, the Dresden Files, The Song of Ice and Fire, The Wheel of Time, the Darkover books (only the originals actually written by Marion Zimmer Bradley), anything by Richard Dawkins, de Sade's works in small doses, all of Douglas Adam's books, philosophy - especially Kant and Nietzsche, some political rants (ask if you want the dirty details), William Gibson's Neuromancer, Idoru, Tad Williams, Stephen King, Octavia Butler, ect . . .

Pan's Labrynth, Titus, Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, Man Bites Dog, Ichi the Killer, Zatoichi movies, anything in which the Depp of Johnny appears, Lone Wolf and Cub, zombie movies (cheesy, gory, whatever), some of Fellini's films (don't get me started on Satyricon . . .), Labrynth, Thank You For Smoking, The Princess Bride . . . there's more, but I think that gives the general idea.

Therion, Cradle of Filth, She Wants Revenge, The Cure, Cast in Bronze, OLD Metallica, DDR dance remixes (I know, it's awful), Pantera, Joy Division, Switchblade Symphony, Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse, Sisters of Mercy - honestly, I can't list everything - think metal, goth, dance, 80's club, jpop, soundtrack, top 40's, indie emo ish music tastes. That about covers it.
