Chapter 3 Meeting the Phoenix
I just fell asleep the next thing I knew I was a woken by the sounds of birds chirping. I slowly opened my eyes and looked out my window. With out even thinking about it I jumped off the bed and dashed for the window. Just then, Dr. Goodwin walked in just as I was ready to pounce toward the window. He stopped me. "Whoa! Farseena careful." I looked up and Dr. Goodwin was coming toward me. He picked me up and then me relived I had done it. I had turned into a cat without thinking about it! I then just stared at Dr. Goodwin. He then looked at me and set me down on the floor. I turned back into a human and quickly stood up and brushed my self off. I then looked at Dr. Goodwin and said.
"I did it! I turned into a cat with out thinking about it." Dr. Goodwin smiled and then started to walk out of the room.
"In time Farseena you will understand all about your new powers. You will also remember more about your past. Now get some sleep of Christ sakes! You have a big day tomorrow." Dr. Goodwin walked out of the room; I crawled back into my bed and soon drifted off to sleep. The next day I was awoken by a very familiar voice, sounded like I have heard it many times before but when I turned around I did not recognize the person. I heard them talking to Dr. Goodwin. They both walk in.
"Good Morning Farseena, did you sleep well?" I nodded. "Good, Farseena this is someone that I would like you to meet. This is your sister Danser. She was also in the Mystical Creature Hospital for sometime. She is not a feline, but Phoenix. She has come to see how you are doing."  I looked at Danser wondering where I have seen her before. I never really heard a word that the doctor said I was too busy trying to figure out who this person was. 
"I will leave you two alone to talk."
"Thank you Dr. Goodwin" Danser said. She sat down in a chair sitting next to my bed; I sat up on my bed and looked at Danser.
"How are you doing Farseena?" Danser asked me
"I am doing fine, just a little tired." I responded back.
"Well that is normal for this place. I was always tired when I was here."
"Danser."
"Please call me Dawn."
"Ok Dawn... Why am I here? Do you know?"
"That is right you still don't have all of your memory back, Dr. Goodwin was telling me that. You got into a bad car accident with mother. They found you on the side of the road, and they brought you here."
"Do you have a picture of my mother?"
"As a matter of fact I do." She reached into her purse and pulled out a picture. "Here" She hands me the picture.
"Beautiful women. I wish I looked like her."
"Oh, but you do Farseena." I looked at Danser, not knowing what to say, she was reaching into her purse and she pulled out a pocket mirror hands it to me. "Take a look" I take the mirror from Danser and looked in it. I did look like the women in the picture. The woman in the picture was my mother. Thinking to my self, if this is my mother, I look at Danser, and she looks like me then, so that would make her my sister I am starting to remember.  "You look like me dawn." I said as I was still looking at the picture. I looked up at Dawn and she nodded "That would make you my sister. It is all making sense now. Mother is a feline, and daddy is a Phoenix." Dawn just looked at me. "What?" I asked. "You are starting to remember things but you have some more things to remember, in time you will remember. Now if you excuse me I have some issues I need to take care of at home, I will see you soon." Before I could say anything, she was out the door. I was left alone in the room once again, not knowing what to do I knew in time I would remember, but I was just not sure when. I must have drifted off to sleep, the next thing that I hear is Dr. Goodwin voice calling my name. I roll over and see Dr. Goodwin.
"Hello Farseena" I smile to let him know that I was saying hello. "How are you feeling today?"
"A little better" I responded in a weak voice.
"Good, do you remember anything more?" I shake my head no. "Well give it time; you took quite a hit to the head when you got into your accident." I nod my head and roll back over staring at the window. I just sat there wondering why things were happening like this, why I was this way, why it came out now, and why was all this happening to me. I just could never understand why this kind of thing was happening to me. "Farseena" I heard Dr. Goodwin say, "In time you will remember things. All you need is time." I roll over and look at Dr. Goodwin and I nod my head. I lie on my back and stare up at the ceiling. "Dr Goodwin" I said
"Yes Farseena?"
"Where is my mother now, is she still alive?"
"Yes Farseena your mother is still alive, she is home resting, she will be here in a couple of days to see you. Now get some sleep!" I continued to stare at the ceiling, I never really paid much attention to it now that I was looking at it, I noticed there was blue with white clouds, and I guess it was to represent the sky, that way you can feel like you are in heaven. Well I knew I was not in heaven! This was hell more than heaven. I hate it here and I cannot wait to get out of here.
