Chapter 4 Beautiful Feline
After staring at the ceiling for some time, I drifted off to sleep. I wake up the next day seeing everything in black and white, wondering why I am seeing this way; I jump off my bed and wander of to the window. I jump up on the windowsill. That is when I relisied that I was in my cat form. I sat there for a minute, looking out the window. Dr. Goodwin walked in and I looked over at him. He just stood there staring at me. I turn my head to one side as if I was asking what was wrong. He remained standing there just staring at me. I jump down off the windowsill, and start walking toward him, turning into my human form as I walked forward. I got two feet away from him and stopped there in my human form. Again, he was just there staring at me.
"What is wrong Dr. Goodwin?"
"Nothing is wrong; you just make a beautiful feline."
"Well thank you Doctor. I have been working on my powers, now I do not have to think about becoming a feline or human. I can just do it. It is no problem."
"That is good Farseena; do you think that you are ready to go back into the world?" I nod my head "I think so Doctor."
"Alright then, why don't you head down to the dinning hall, and I will meet you there for some paperwork to sign."
"Where is the dinning hall Doctor?" I asked as Doctor Goodwin started to head out the door. "Down the hall take the elevator, and press the D button and after you get off the elevator go straight to the dinning hall." I nod and start to follow Doctor Goodwin he walks off in one dircrection and I go the other into the elevator. I step on the elevator, and press the D button. I was about half way there when the door opened. In steps a very young girl, who looked like she was no older than ten. She had long brown hair and baby blue eyes. I smiled at her and she smiled back. She started to talk to me"
"Hello, what is your name?" I look down at her.
"My name is Farseena."
"I like that name." she said.
"Thank you. What is your name?" I said.
"My name is Erica."
"Nice to meet you Erica, where are you headed?"
"I going to the dinning hall, my doctor told me to meet him down there so I can sign some kind of paperwork, so I can get out of here."
"Me too."
"How long have you been here?" she asked me
"Too long" I responded.
"I have been here for about 6 months, and now they are finally letting me go." Just then, the elevator doors opened, and we both stepped out, we walk down the hall, and all I could smell was chocolate. I walk up the counter, and asked the person if she could give me a bag of chips, she nods and hands me a bag of potato chips. I smile and walk over to a table. I sit down, and Erica comes over with a slice of chocolate cake, she takes a seat, and takes a bite of her cake.
"So how long have you been here?" She asked after she finished chewing.
"Well I have not been here as long as you," I responded back. "I have been here for about 3 months now."
"What are you here for?" she asked.
"I am part feline and part human. Doctor Goodwin says that I was in a bad car accident and got some of my memory taken away, I am starting to get it back but he says that I am going to need time. He tells me that in time, I will have my memory back, it is slowly coming back. What about you, why are you here?"
"I am half drake, and half human. I was taken away from my parents because they did not know how to take care of me. Daddy is half drake, and mommy well she is just human. Where does your human side come from?"
"Well I don't really have a human side. My father is a phoenix, and mother well she is feline. So I guess you can say that I am half phoenix and half feline." She just smiled, Dr. Goodwin walks in. Hello, ladies Farseena I see that you have meet Erica. She is just about ready to enter the world again too." Erica looks at me, and asks, "Farseena, can you show me your feline side... please?" I smile and transform into a feline, I am sitting there on the chair and I jump up on to the table. I do a little spin, walk up to Erica, and start to rub her next with my head. Erica giggles and I smile inside, I walk back over to my chair, and go back to my human form. "You are a beautiful feline Farseena." I smile. "Thank you Erica." I look up Doctor Goodwin. "You have some paperwork that I need to sign?"
"Oh right sorry." Doctor Goodwin takes a seat next to me and slaps down a folder in front of me. "This is your file. This is everything that has happened to you since you have been here. You can go ahead and look at it if you like."
