2010-02-11 [Gypsy Mystik]: lol that's not a bad thing

2010-02-11 [wicked fae mage]: Well, I have been attempting to recall every single anime I have ever watched and it seems impossible since every time I edit the list I have a few new ideas. Rouroni Kenshin! Watched a good bit of that. Started to watch Ah! My Goddess. Watched Flint the Time Detective a few times. Why are there so many memorable anime for me? I wish they'd make Princess Ai into an anime even though I hate Kent because he's based off of Kurt Kobain. Even if they need a crack storyline for it to be an OVA...I'd give them one!

2010-02-11 [Gypsy Mystik]: lol ^_^ yea

2010-02-11 [wicked fae mage]: This is a continued list. I listed lots more in the comments of another wiki page because I was suggesting that another friend of mine watch some anime that had groups like Inuyasha, Maze the Megaburst Space and such to see how to better interact with characters and that not all meetings have to be pleasant ones.

2010-02-11 [moira hawthorne]: I only got 4 wrong... im horrid with dates/numbers in general... and 11 wasnt answered

2010-02-11 [wicked fae mage]: Because I really don't know that one. ^.^;

And that's good. Those are some of the more difficult questions I could think of.

2010-02-12 [*Phoenix*]: fan-ed the page! Woot! I like it!!! You should have a question about the difference between anime and manga! It bugs me when people use them wrong!

2010-02-12 [Gypsy Mystik]: I know! I know! *waves hands and arms in the air, excitedly*

2010-02-12 [wicked fae mage]: Well simply stating that anime is short for animation, and the translation of animation from Japanese to English. Manga merely means entertainment when loosely but exact translation means comic, or cartoon.

I'm starting up a review page since the only one on here has been dead for a long while. anime and manga reviews

2010-02-12 [*Phoenix*]: I know that, but some people don't so it'll make a good question! *wink wink*

cool. I'll have to look into. Invite me when you're done!

2010-02-12 [wicked fae mage]: Well, I have it started with two examples of how I want things done. I'll invite you to it, and you're free to add your own so long as you sign your name at the end of the review, keep it neat and don't leave out the details. Spoilers are your choice. :)

2010-02-12 [*Phoenix*]: coolio! I'll look into it!!!!!

2010-02-12 [moira hawthorne]: manga is book

2010-02-12 [*Phoenix*]: I know.

2010-02-12 [moira hawthorne]: but i mean it more general than even I quote 'Manga merely means entertainment when loosely but exact translation means comic, or cartoon.' a business man reading his book is readin manga. manga doesnt mean a book of the same sort of characters, storys and art that we think of when we say anime... manga is all books no matter what the contents.

2010-02-12 [wicked fae mage]: <<< picturing a grown man reading a very girly Japanese manga

2010-02-12 [moira hawthorne]: oooh they do that too... believe me... *anime* (I use that word to mean what we assume to be the style) manga are very popular across all the ages.

2010-02-12 [wicked fae mage]: The older men I know are all watching movies and such. That's about it.

2010-02-12 [moira hawthorne]: ok I meant IN Japan

2010-02-12 [wicked fae mage]: In Japan, sure. But in the USA I see people who follow trends reading and watching them. Gah! First season of Deathnote. I forgot all about that one....

2010-02-14 [Silver Moon]: neat
