Yes, negative into digital are a long and often expensive process, either you take them to a processor to get them digitized or you buy a rather expensive film scanner, and do them by hand which can be quite slow.... sigh... I have some 30 - 40 thousand negatives that really need to be rescanned, and in some cases scanned into archives. I already have 450 dvds of image archives done.

I have been using my scanner in a variety of odd ways with my negatives but of course the photos aren't true form..
