Welcome to the Campaign for [Khayman]!

I've been all over the place in Elftown and am well-acquanited with the uses of the wikis, forums, and polls. I am also very familiar with the Elftown Rules.

I was born in the United States and have lived here all my life, so I can read, speak, and write English. I also have a passing knowledge of Spanish (not enough to get into very detailed conversations, granted, but I can get the gist of a sentence :) And for everything else...that's what Babelfish is for ^_~ )

My goals for Elftown are basically to help keep it an active, 'clean', and fun community to be a part of. I also love trying to update things, so hopefully I could help Elftown keep growing and adding new content.

I have created many art and writing contests here at Elftown, such as the Warfare Contest, the Computer Art Contest, and the Nude Banner Contest, and I have built a few other wiki pages, including Writing Help and my personal wiki, Crystal Whispers. Although I haven't created a forum myself, I have posted in them a few times (mostly to ask questions or to advertise contests and other wikis).

As a crew member, I would try to help the rest of the crew with whatever needed and ensure that Elftown's rules are enforced (as well as understood). I would also like to institute small changes that might help make Elftown a more eye-pleasing place to be, such as replacing the Guard's red warnings about artistic nudity with banners such as the ones drawn for the Nude Banner Contest. I would remain helping Elftown for as long as possible (as someone else stated in their application, "for as long as [Hedda] keeps this site up").

I have been a member of Elftown since 2003-08-10 14:23:17 under my first username, [angel_whispers] (and yes, I am beginning to move all of my activity to one username, so soon the others will merely be relics to remind myself of how I started off on this site ^-^ ). Although I have been gently reprimanded by the crew a time or two, I'm proud to say that in all the time I've been here, my track record remains fairly clean.

Although I get snappish sometimes in person, I have no trouble with keeping my patience when dealing with anyone online (be they assholes, annoying, or just very very confused and in need of help).

Fun!!! Well, if I didn't think it was fun, I suppose I probably wouldn't have hung around here for so long, now would I? ;)

And finally... I have no new ideas at the moment (save for my idea about replacing messages with banners, which I stated above), but I would love to hear other ideas and help to carry them out here in Elftown!

Hmm, supporters... Well, I just started my campaign, so I don't really have any supporters yet, but feel free to stop in and comment on the campaign, whether it's in support or in criticism (although please keep in mind that constructive criticism is the most appreciated kind).
