Only the peircing lights of the town could see through the blinding darkness of the night in Durem. Atop the clock tower, firmly stood the figure of a woman, shadowed by the moon light. She gazed down upon the town, to a museum where police cars, lights, and crowds of people surrounded it.
"Hm...I take it they got my note...." the girl sighed, "Like moths to a fire." she sighed, and then giggled. Suddenly, what appeared to be butterfly wigns unfolded from her body. Then she carefully, and slowly, tipped forward, and fell head-first off the tower.

Below, the cops were waiting, and securing the crowd behind police crossing lines. The numerous gaians were all anxious to see what would happen to the thief who they had come to adore for brightening up thier town.
"This time we've got her." The police cheif said, "There's no way out that's not gaurded. We even have the roof and sewers secure." "Right, sir." the officer standing next to him said. Then they heard the officers screaming from atop the roof and then gunfire. That's when something flying at a high speed crshed into the building, and dust rose into the air. The chief took out his walkie-talkie, "Come in! Come in! What's going on in there!?" he didn't get an answer. "Damnit!!" He chucked the walkie0talkie on the ground.

Inside, as the smoke cleared, poilce officers lay on the ground, unconcious. The only one standing was the thief. She had long blue hair and wore a mask over her eyes. She wore a black tub-top and tight black pants with knee-high black boots.
The strange thing was, that she had fox ears and a fox tail with butterfly wings.
It's not an uncommon site to see people walking around with fox/cat ears/tail or wings and other apendages in Gaia.

There are people who admire the thief, and there are those who hate her. Everyone has there own opinion.
______________
She Stretched her arms out wide as her long blue hair flowed with the wind and her sapphire blue eyes sparkled in the rising sunlight. Her light blue skirt and blue sleevless, one strapped, belly top rippled in the wind. The girl's sandles provided a thin seperation between her bare feet and the sand. She brushed the hair from her face and stared out into the deep blue sea. "KIRISTO!!!" she heard a call from inside the little cabin behind her. Kiristo spun around to see her friend, Feonna, looking at her from the door, "Come-on, Kiri! Breakfast!" The black haired girl called. "I'll be there in a sec!" Kiristo holared back, over her shoulder. Feonna shruged and dissappeared in the cabin. Kiristo looked back to the sun and the sea for a few moments before heading in.
When Kiristo got inside, she took the time to look around. Feonna was setting the table in the kitchen. She took care as to not let her long black hair fall over her shoulder and hang over the table set. Her brown eyes, nearly hidden behind her glasses, glimmered with peace. Then she turned away from the table and fixed her white long-sleeved shirt and her black skirt. Then she ajusted her puffy white hat and pulled up her white stockings as her black High healed boots clicked on the floor. "Kiri, can you go get Alaina?" Feonna asked. "Sure!" Kiristo smiled and headed into the back room.
Kiristo entered a quanit little beadroom with cute, cuddly furniture. Standing at the vanity was a young girl with short brown hair and violet eyes. She wore a one strapped, red tub top, a red mini skirt, and red boots. She also wore purple earings and some braclets. She was trying to fix her hair when Kiristo walked in. Kiristo frowned in annoyance, "Hurry up, Alaina! I swear, you take FOREVER! Your hair looks fine! Let's eat! I'm starving!" Alaina looked over her shoulder to Kirsto, "I'd bet. Especilly after that 'all-nighter' you pulled last night, without supper, too." "Haha...Can we just go eat!?" Kiristo complained. "Fine, fine. If you insist." Alaina said, walking to the door and rolling her eyes. The two headed to the kitchen and sat down at the table to find that there was already food on thier plates Feonna finished up what she was doing and sat down along with them.
Throughout the next hour or so, the three girls talked about various things and ate thier breakfast.

After Breakfast, Kiristo changed into light blue jeans, white sneakers, and a white shirt, then she headed to Barton town. She walked through the streets, trying to listen to the towners descusions. Many of which included simple things like shopping, travling, and were people would go with their friends that day. But one conversation two people were having caught her attention. Kiristo casually leaned against the wall to a small building, pretending not to notice the other two girls. She listened carefully:
"Did you hear!?"
"About what?"
"That...'Phantom Thief' stole Coppelia's Dimond last night."
"Oh yeah! Not even almost all of the police force could catch her."
"Well duh! She flew away! Literally!"
"No one will ever catch her! She's...slick!!"
"The Phantom Theif will never let anyone catch her..."

Kiristo pondered, "'Phantom Theif'...I like that title..." She smirked, then continued into town.
