EOD ARMORY

The armory is where equipment provided to the X-men by the company is stored. Unlike the MLA, however, the leaders of the X-men have full discretion over how and when this equipment is used and deployed. The contents of the room vary depending on the missions the members of the X-men embark on, but there are always several dozen unused X-men uniforms from the old days, as well as some parachutes for the now destroyed X-men blackbird and some stun guns. The back of the room has several unisex changing rooms and lockers to store personal belongings.

The X-men Armory Contains

1x Leather Jacket
8x X-men Uniform Jackets
7x X-men Uniform Pants
1x Stun Gun
2x Stun Gun Batteries
3x First Aid Kits
1x Anti-toxin

X-Men EoD Time

Wednesday, August 13th

Lire walked into the combat room and carefully browsed over the selection available. She frowned disapprovingly at the lack of selection in bladed weapons and sighed as she walked back out to the EoD Complex Hall

Striding in, Vlad checked over his shoulder to make sure that his teammates were not directly behind him, leaving his ears peeled for the sounds of footsteps as he crossed over to the small metal cabinet, about the size of a medicine cabinet, hung along one of the walls next to the mostly-empty racks of guns. There was a brass key with a dangling silver loop inserted into the lock, having been left there by Vlad since he trusted his teammates and took what he considered to be careful inventory of their equipment and assumed no one but he and Liz did so. Confident that he was alone for now, Vlad twisted the key and the door swung open. A quick glance pulled his eyes towards a small amber phial with "CD" and some long list of 'ingredients' in all caps along the back, and a long neck leading up into a white screw-on cap. He left the Anti-Toxin, having taken the only Combat Drugs, and then shut the cabinet while pushing the phial into his armor, wedged between his under-clothes and his impressive armoring, all of which spanned only a few seconds. He then stepped back and crossed over to the tall metal lockers that they hung their unused uniforms and auxiliary armor in, grabbing two handles and swinging open two doors to reveal the contents within. Figuring that Catherine and Nathan would be very shortly behind at this point, he said "The girls are going for stealth so they probably won't use much armor," with a slight tilt of his chin towards his shoulder so that the entering team members would hear him. "So go ahead and put some on, maybe Colossus for Entropy and Flak for Quartz," he mused, leaving the 'wardrobe' doors open for them to peruse and make their decisions after his simple input. After all, he wasn't their mother but he did care and wanted them to be as wise and informed in their choices as possible. "Both of you take a First Aid Kit, too," he added. "Catherine, I think you should have a weapon, even if it's just a stun-gun. We're gonna be sitting ducks and if something happens to your diamonds then you're gonna be glad you have it," he said, demonstrating a complete, calm, and calculative understanding of their potential for massacre.

An answered crackled back over the line to Vlad, and Elizabeth's voice barely got through, sounding heavily muffled. "Not as of yet, trying to go for inconspicuous," She sounded hesitant to finish, and the line was left open.

Nathan stepped in to the armory, watching as Vlad rifled through the contents of the room, sorting out their needs for the mission. As per his standard, he found a spot near the door that he could lean against, waiting on Vlad to give him a go ahead. At this point, he was all the more happy to just let Vlad pick out what they'd be needing for this mission, and he'd be ready to take whatever was thrown at him for gear.

Entering with Nathan, Catherine took a similar position, standing near a wall. Thinking about it, she'd have loved anything with a scope, just to keep a lookout, but doubted there were any here. At times, she wished for super-strong sight. She liked to make sure she could see if enemies were approaching.

"We're good this side." Elizabeth offered into the com before the connection closed off.

"Roger that. Do you need any First Aid?" Vlad asked, tending to his wife while his team apparently found it appropriate to simply stand around and let him spoonfeed them. With his finger on the small insignia that allowed him and his teammates to communicate, he looked at Catherine and Nathan and then shooed him with his hands towards the lockers, urging them to actually put on the clothes instead of gawk at them. "Well go on then," he clipped with no shortness of irritability and sarcasm from his hoarse tone of voice, walking himself over to where the racks of guns were lined along the wall. As for himself, Vlad wasn't entirely certain he needed a gun in the first place. If he threw a rock hard enough he was pretty sure the effect would be similar, and he didn't intend to stay too clear of the action if something broke out. He grabbed the helmet and then held it between his hip and his hand as he waited expectantly for his team to finish outfitting themselves. "C'mon guys, this isn't your first rodeo so quit acting so green," he grumped as they still had made no progress. Coughing into his fist again, the large Russian put the helmet onto his head and then reached forward to grab both pieces of armor at once, turning to then thrust them at their owners. "Check if anything is too heavy," he said quickly, treating them like children now since they were content to act like some. At least Ivan could tell what came after opening up the wardrobe doors instead of standing there like deer-in-headlights. He then went to the gun rack and pulled down a 9mm Handgun and the Assault Rifle, looking down to each of them as he turned around to see how far along his 'students' had gotten in their costume change. "Nathan needs help in closer range," he said, handing him the smaller gun, "And Catherine needs help at a distance," he finished, handing her the rifle. "Do I need to get the fucking bullets too?" he asked, stormy grey eyes clouding as he looked down at what he hoped wouldn't be a subpar team and then jerked his head in the direction of the cabinet of ammo. "Put that shit on and meet me at the main gates," he said, jabbing one finger towards their armor and weapons before clearing his throat and walking out the door into EoD Complex Hall.

"Aaaallright then." Catherine walked slowly to the rifle ammo, quickly checking around for anything else. "No other rifles here, so I guess all this is mine then". She picked up both magazines, stuffing one into each pocket of her jacket, and placing a stun gun with batteries into her jean pocket as she left to the EoD Complex Hall. "I'll see you there, Nate. Hasta la vista!"

A snide laugh escaped Nathan's lips as Vlad began to get in a huff with him and Catherine. He was simply waiting on the Russian to give them a bit of a go-ahead. He stepped forward, taking the armor from Vlad and slipping it on over his suit. However much he hated to have to wear armor, and how much he felt that it restricted him, he knew that it was for the better. Once the armor was fully on, he took a moment to look at the gloves. His hands were a vital part of the use of his powers, so being able to use them properly was crucial for his success. He focused for a moment, willing for his hand to light up as he had done thousands of times before. Sure enough, the familiar green energy burst forth from the glove. He wasn't used to having to project his powers over something other than his hand, and wasn't quite sure if the energy would be caught by the glove or not, but it seemed to be working just fine. He let his concentration drop, and the energy slowly leeched away into his hand, revealing the armored glove once more. He stepped forward to the weapons cabinet, picking up the 9mm handgun. He cocked back the action on the gun, closely examining it for a few seconds, making sure there were no obstructions or damage to the gun. Once he was satisfied, he grabbed the holster belt and slung it across his his, sliding the handgun into its holster. He grabbed up one of the ammo cartridges that sat next to the pistols and tucked that into one of his pockets, knowing that the extra ammo may end up being important. The was one last thing that caught his eye before he turned away from the cabinet. The pair of combat knives that sat on one of the shelves. The didn't require ammo or his energy to use, plain, simple, and reliable melee weapons if he needed one. He picked up one of the sheathed knives and slid it into his boot for safe keeping. He turned, now feeling as if he were literally armed to the bone, and strode out of the armory, heading directly for the EoD Complex Hall.

Considering the room was suppose to be an armoury, it always felt like slip pickings for Elizabeth. True, they had powers to fall back on, but it was always nice to have weaponry back them up if it was needed. Opening up the cabinet, she grabbed up one of the pre-made first aid kits, tucking it into the crook of her arm. While the oversized clothing offered anonymity, it was a pain in the butt for carrying anything without the fabric and her claws getting tangled up together.

Lire slipped in behind Elizabeth but she barely glanced around. She'd already inspected the meager contents of the room earlier that day and found everything uninteresting. The only thing she was really willing to use was the combat knives and she scooped up the last remaining one and quickly slid it out of view as she replaced the one she'd moved to her thigh out on the grounds.

"I would say grab a gun for both you and Endelyn, but since we got fuck all left for us to use... I want you guys looking mean as hell so no one messes with you, but looks like we're just going to have to make do." She grumbled out, annoyed about how under prepared she was feeling going into this mission. "Grab whatever is left handgun or stun gun wise, you two can figure out who needs it most." Elizabeth ordered as she threw the extra copy of the car keys towards Lire, stepping back out the doorway to EoD Hall 1st.

Lire's hand flicked up and she caught the keys. Her nose wrinkled in disgust at the thought of carrying a gun but she still reluctantly decided to buy one at the Plank. She hoped to god she wouldn't have to use it considering she couldn't shoot the broad side of a barn if she was standing directly in front of it. "We're screwed if I have to shoot the damn thing." She said as she made a face and followed Elizabeth out to eod hall 1st

2013-01-29 [Duredhel]: Nice post Lep :>
Btw, if Nathan is wearing the Colossus grade, it's more like this - http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121109190538/xcom/images/1/17/XCOM-EU_Armor_-_Titan_Armor.jpg

or power armor than anything else, just so you know. It basically makes you a walking tank.

Also, if you guys erase anything from here, be sure to add it to some char's inventory. I'll fix it this time.

2013-01-29 [Lepellier]: So, somewhere between Iron Man and Master Chief?

2013-01-29 [Duredhel]: It's pretty much Power Armor. The company has somehow managed to make an alloy light as silk but as hard and resistant as a tank's ceramic plating.

2013-01-29 [Lepellier]: Ahh, gotcha.

2013-01-29 [Duredhel]: Vlad's not here anymore :O. Imma move the post to where he is.

2013-01-30 [Figgy]: Who is leaving a comment and then erasing? >_>

2013-01-30 [The Past]: :/ I did leave a comment... but it vanished... >.> so... I did? Apparently?

2013-01-30 [Duredhel]: XD. What was the comment?

2013-01-30 [Roma]: Mine was eaten too and it read: no one grabbed First Aid like they were instructed to.

2013-01-30 [The Past]: Just how observant I was about missing Vlad leave XD

2013-01-31 [ZeoOfFire]: Crap, thought I grabbed it, mentioned in comments, but forgot to post it. I'll add it to my post if I need to.

2013-02-01 [Duredhel]: Yes please :O. I'll move all the stuff you're taking to your char sheets.

2013-02-01 [Duredhel]: Let's get everyone out and missiony soon :3

2013-02-02 [Lirerial]: Lire's hand flicked up and she caught the keys. Her nose wrinkled in disgust at the thought of carrying a gun but she still reluctantly picked up one of the guns and holstered it on her hip. She hoped to god she wouldn't have to use it considering she couldn't shoot the broad side of a barn if she was standing directly in front of it. "We're screwed if I have to shoot the damn thing." She said as she made a face.

2013-02-02 [Duredhel]: I'm assuming you guys meant stun guns 8> cuz the other group didn't leave any pistols XD

2013-02-02 [The Past]: Didn't one of the stun guns go as well? So there is only one left anyways? I edit my last post so it makes more sense, but without interrupting what's happened since.

2013-02-02 [Duredhel]: Yeeep.. you're right XD. So we have two people grabbing nonexistent pistols and clips and only one stun gun. Feel free to edit your posts, guys.

2013-02-02 [The Past]: May need an edit with Lire then after I'm done ;)

2013-02-02 [Roma]: To be fair, they asked XD

2013-02-02 [The Past]: I know XD There, edited, hope it still works, heh.

2013-02-02 [Duredhel]: If your chars have moneys you can buy guns at The Plank 8> during your mission.
