~: Illusion Magic :~

Illusiary arts are the work of Illusionists, who pride themselves on the mastery of fooling targets with potent and realistic illusions. Illusions are usually done for trickery, however the art of deception is widely used to defeat enemies with a very small amount of effort by confusing them. While Illusions can be overcome, a master of illusions will certainly win many battles if planned carefully.

Types of Spells

Images (1 Skill Point)
Images are the bread and butter spells for illusionists, even the word illusion has come to mean "false image" in many translations. Often a defensive art, images are made to distract, confuse, or sow dissention in the enemy ranks. Illusionists are famed for their mimicking talents, and though these images are false they appear realistic enough to all but the most critical of eyes.

Image (Default): Creates a false object for 2x/y turns. (y Mana)
Lumina (1): Lights x areas for x turns. (1 Mana)
Ignis Fatuus (1): Pulls target to an anchor for x turns. If reached by target, causes x fire damage. (1 Mana)
Multiform (2): Creates up to y copies of the caster with x health for x turns. (y Mana, x Mana maximum)
Phantasm (3): Creates a target or copy of full quality for x turns. (3 Mana)

Hallucination (1 Skill Point)
A more violent means of illusion, causing the target to view their most dire fears. Usually this illusion is upheld by the most dastardly of illusionsist, the Dreamweavers. Used to sew targets into a complete state of fear and panic, many times this spell can cause victims to commit suicide or enter a deep coma if left unchecked. Thus the hallucination is reserved only for those who the illusionist truly believes deserve such a fate as to die in fright.

Mirage (Default): Changes x spaces into different terrain for x turns. (1 Mana)
Faux (1): Causes 1 random ailment to a target for x turns. (1 Mana)
Delusion (1): Target takes random actions for x turns. (1 Mana)
Silence (2): Causes a target to unable to use spells or skills for x turns. (2 Mana)
Pain (3): Target takes 10% damage for x turns. (3 Mana)

Transformation (1 Skill Point)
Transformations are the physical manifestation of illusion, where the lines between body structure and mind diffuse and become a desired outcome. Novices of the art can do nothing but change the way others percieve them, but masters can actually change what is an illusion into reality by morphing their body with definition based from magic.

Polymorph (Default): Changes appearance of caster for x turns. (1 Mana)
Vanish (1): Causes a target to become invisible for x turns. (1 Mana)
Barrier (1): Repels 2x physical damage for x turns. (1 Mana)
Invisibility (2): Cannot be detected, dispels if spell, skill, or attack is used. (2 Mana)
Torsion (3): Shifts x stat points per casting. (3 Mana)

Teleportation (1 Skill Point)
Teleportation is a magical enhancement of what is otherwise simple sleight of hand. However, given the application of mana, the world seems to bend around the will of the illusionist. However brief, this bending of the universe allows skilled shadowcasters to rip the physics of science for brief moments.

Blink (Default): Instantly teleports x spaces away. (1 Mana)
Levitation (1): Hovers over the ground for x turns. (1 Mana)
Replacement (1): Exchanges places with an object within x range. (1 Mana)
Recall (2): Calls a target within 2x range to short range. (2 Mana)
Divest (3): Teleports y objects/items on a target x spaces away. (y Mana, x Mana maximum)

Mimicry (1 Skill Point)
The art of the Mime, mimicry is based entirely on how powerful an opponent is. Should the opponent prove worthless, the Mimicry itself is rather pointless. Mimes are usually underestimated as street clowns and melodramatic performers of mute voice. However, a true mime of the guild of illusionists is one that can make others truly believe their illusions to the point of creating impassable barriers or with a copycat attack, completely mimic another to the point of mistaking the mime for them. However, many mimes embrace their absurd stereotypes and use this to confuse those that avoid becoming entertained, namely the enemies of mimes.

Mimic (Default): Copies a seen skill, but of x quality. (1 Mana)
Legerdemain (1): Copies a seen spell, but of x quality. (1 Mana)
Mask (1): Copies 1 stat of a target for x turns. (1 Mana)
Ridicule (2): Causes Anger ailment (Level x) to a target. (2 Mana)
Mirror (3): Reflects x Magic damage while active. (1 Mana per turn)

Indirection (1 Skill Point)
The art of indirection is sometimes called on by puppetmasters and dream weavers, who use their skills to break the willpower of their targets. Few are able to resist the call of such powers, becoming slaves to the illusions they see as real. So powerful are indirections that they can even be called miracles or dreams made real.

Misdirection (Default): Distracts x actions from a target. (1 Mana)
Deflection (1): Deflects a spell or ranged attack to the side, reflects on automatic counter. (1 Mana)
Restoration (1): Nullifies 50% effect of last action on a target. (1 Mana)
Reverie (2): Causes a target to lose x actions at random up over 2x turns. (2 Mana)
Marionette (3): Controls y actions of a target for x turns. (y Mana, x Mana maximum)
