2008-03-26 [Hedda]: The idea is to move the older news to an other page later. Maybe fantasy news 2008. And I'll keep the comment section free for anyone to type anything so that lazy people can write "A new hobbit was discovered!" and hopefully someone else creates a wiki-page about it.

2008-04-05 [Hedda]: Battlestar Galactica is back with s4e01!

For you who aren't where it's sent, I recommend www.tvtorrents.com
I have one invitation left...

2008-04-05 [Skydancer]: Sounds like a good one for the tv episode collector :)

2008-04-05 [Hedda]: Yes, tvtorrents is great. Good quality on the files, nicely arranged and fast to download for us with fast net.

2008-04-05 [Jitter]: *watches*

2008-04-06 [windowframe]: is the fantasy news all there is at the moment? Didn't we talk about other genre-specific news things, too? (and if they are there already, would it not be good to link them to each other, and possibly from an index?).

2008-04-08 [Hedda]: There is game news. I haven't had any other news to post.

2008-04-08 [Hedda]: If there is more, we should have an news index page.

2008-04-08 [windowframe]: I was thinking of creating something like Literature News for news on new books and authors.

2008-04-08 [Hedda]: I guess news often can be posted both there and on here, but that's OK.

2008-04-08 [Hedda]: OK; [windowframe], you have to put something on Literature news now, because I'm linking to it! <img:stuff/zabuN-gif.gif>

2008-04-08 [windowframe]: okie dokie. :P

2008-12-06 [Hedda]: Hm, no sci-fi category... Well:

Forest Ackerman has died.
He was an American collector of science fiction books and movie memorabilia and a science fiction fan. Ackerman, known as "Forry" or "4e" or "4SJ", is influential not only in the formation, organization, and spread of science fiction fandom, but has long also been a key figure in the wider cultural acceptance of science fiction as a literary, art and film genre. Ackerman is also known as the editor-writer of the magazine Famous Monsters of Filmland, as well as an occasional author, actor, producer (Vampirella), and literary agent.

2008-12-06 [Skydancer]: Perry Rhodan editor too I think, of a truly monumental space opera that went on and on and on and on.... :)
