2010-09-01 [Skydancer]: Actually I am going to ask for mine to be removed, as I have never given permission for my modeling stock to be public domain, and I do not wish them to be. There was a large discussion about this, and I am not about to end up on a book cover or in an advertisement that goes against my ethical beliefs.

2010-09-01 [Skydancer]: Oh, and by the by, all Spadnaa galleries are private, they are not supposed to be accessible to anyone not in the group. Goes against our charter. If you wish to have a duplicate gallery that is outside of spadnna that is of course up to you. :)

2010-09-01 [Skydancer]: Yes, I am aware of that now, but at the time, there was a large discussion going on with Hedda about how the EPRM would actually be worded.

2010-09-01 [Skydancer]: Its why I basically quit submitting to the EPRM, as it places you in the situation that your image is out there in the public domain and anyone, anywhere may use them for any purpose whatsoever, be it porn, gore, violence, hate, anything. And you can do nothing about it.

However, given the nature of the EPRM, this has been in the public domain for the past several months. I can delete it from here, but we have no control over who may have accessed it or used it in those last months.

2010-09-01 [Skydancer]: I am aware of the situation, I had forgotten this was here actually as I no longer follow the EPRM at all, no point really, but as far as I know this is the only model stock of me on it. You should try to find out who put that gallery on here then and make sure they understand that they are violating the charter of the group.

2010-09-03 [Nioniel]: No, he was upset because when he submitted to that session, the wording hadn't been worked out yet on how the pictures were going to be used, I guess. When he realized that the wording that had been decided on stated that the photos that he submitted could be used for anything with no stipulations, he decided that he didn't want them used in that way, and therefore wanted them removed. :) He knew they would be used, just not that they could be used for anything and everything.

2010-09-03 [Lothuriel]: Some of my individual wikis have stipulations on use. I think it should be left up to the individual. For instance, the wiki with the photos of my children clearly state that they are not to be used for violent images or pornographic images. I think that it is ok to put stipulations on certain individual wikis. They are still technically owned by the photographer and the photographer maintains all rights to them, even if they are free use stock photos.

2011-06-03 [Skydancer]: After having one of my own images used in a commercial advertisment, I am even less likely to have my work on here if there is any one in it. Regardless of the individual wording on a wiki, the people harvesting the images neither care nor read, they see the free to use, and public domain and in their minds everything in the references is fair game. I know this to be true as I chased down the company that used my image and had it out with them. The artist they hired simply went through and copied all of the images onto disk, with out any of the information about who, what, where, how, why or anything else and treated it all as public domain, even giving it to his friends to use as they pleased.
