Another QQ issue: And then, there's issue of To veil, or not to veil. A Muslim cleric commits the offense of saying an unveiled woman is the equivalent of spoiled meat. A British uppity-up demands Muslim women remove their veils upon entering his office. The British PM (Blair) declares removal of veils in the commons will promote "assimilation" of Muslim women into society. The Vatican says "laws banning veils" must be followed in countries where veils are forbidden by law. Ah, but, the Pope is strongly promoting the right of Christians to openly practice their religion in Muslim countries where such practices are forbidden.
Isn't someone trying to have their cake and eat it, too, here??
I'd be a happier-assed Humanist-Atheist if men in high places would just butt out of women's choices.

2006-12-17 [Faery Rule]: my philosophy is to just go with the flow...unless it feels wrong then go against it with all you got.....i always create a commotion wherever i go if there's something wrong or i dont feel comfortable then i dont stay or i make myself feel at home...lol....also if you feel like doing something or saying something then say or do it b/c it may help you get to where you are going...ask the universe to give u wat u want and when u have earned it the universe will give it to u with no questions asked

2006-12-24 [QueenQaab]: I pretty much agree with your philosophy, Angy. Being honest with myself and others has worked so far for me. I wouldn't deliberately hurt anyone, but nor will I stand by in silence and let anyone hurt me.
