During Lent in 2006, BURC (Bishop's University Religion Club) organized a very special fundraiser inspired by the medieval notion of the selling of indulgences. BURC sold fictitious pardons for sins in the form of tickets, which were also good for one chance in a 50/50 raffle. As BURC's occult expert, Ha[Mekashef] was called to illustrate the indulgences with a sketch for each of the Seven Deadly Sins.

The indulgence sales were so successful that BURC decided to repeat the experience in 2007.
