OMG! Page 6! *Faints*
That Night...
Riku looked outside to where Delirium and Axel had been for hours. "Man...they just keep talking."
"What're they saying?" Sora asked.
Iris shrugged, "I don't know..."
Sora grinned at Riku. "I bet they're talking about LOOOOOOVE."
Riku gave Sora a noogie. "Yeah, sure, and you and Kairi AREN'T dating," he said.
Sora ducked out of his hold and ran over to Kairi. "I think they like each other. Why else would they be SOO close?"
"Maybe they're good friends." Iris said.
"Suuuuure!" Sora said.
Iris rolled her eyes, and playfuly whacked Sora, "Why don't you go ask them then?"
Sora shrugged. "Okay." But his smile suddenly became softer. "But...I think they just want to talk it out. They've been through so much."
Iris rolled her eyes again, "I was joking Sora."
Sora smiled. "I know!"
Iris ruffled his hair, "Riiiight."
Riku was still looking at Delirium. "Iris...does she seem....famili
ar to you?"
Iris looked at Delirium for moment. She nodded, "Yeah she does..."
Riku was quiet for a moment. "I think I recognize her too," he said simply.
Iris looked him, "You do?"
Riku nodded. "I think I saw her in the World That Never Was."
Iris held her head in pain, "Ugh..."
Riku looked at her. "Iris?" He leaned down. "Iris, what's wrong?"
"...More memerories..." she mumured before passing out.
Riku caught her in his arms before she hit the floor. "Axel!!" he yelled.
The red haired fire-wielder glanced back and quickly ran towards the tree house. "Come on, Del!"
Flash Back
Iris looked around with look of confusing and fear on her face, "Where the hell am I!?" She was surrounded by tall buildings, skyscrapers. The sky was as black as night, and the only light from the street came from the few lights on the buildings. She was utterly alone.
Suddenly dusks appeared before her.
"What the hell...?" She backed away when they started to advance towared her.
Two small round disks went through the dusk closest to her, splitting it in half. A figure in all black appeared as the disks came back, and he caught it in his hands. "Yo, you better leave the lady alone." The dusks looked at him, then scampered away into the darkness. The figure looked over at her. "It's not very smart to hang here all alone." He pointed after the dusks. "They're not friendly to newcomers."
Iris nodded slightly, "T-Thanks..."
He circled her once. "Ooh! You're a Nobody too," he said. He pushed back his hood to reveal a teenager with spiky red hair. He had emerald eyes and two black lines that looked like mini tears from his eyes. "Nice to meet you. I'm Axel - commit it to memory."
Iris watched him nervously and said, "...I'm Iris..."
Axel smiled kindly. "Oh...geez, sorry," he said, letting his chakrams disappear. "Didn't mean to scare you."
"I-It's okay..."
He chuckled. "No, it's not really okay. We don't get many Nobodies alone...they usually come in groups. What'd you do to die?" he asked her.
Iris looked away, muttering somthing about Sephiroth.
"Sephi-who?" Axel asked. "Well, don't worry about him. He can't hurt you here. Here...you have power."
She looked at him, "...I do...?"
Axel nodded. "Of course," he said. He came behind her and put his hands on her shoulders. "I bet you hate Sephiroth, don't you?" he asked. He pointed at a bench. "Pretend that that is him. Concentrate your anger."
She did as she was told. Her eyes began to glow dark bule, and suddenly blue lighting struck the bench, destroying it completly.
"See?" Axel said. "You have power now."
Iris's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Come on," Axel said. "I'll take you to Xemnas. He can give you a home with us."
She nodded, "Okay..."
Axel led her down the street to the large building there. Outside sat two others in black just like Axel. One in particular stood out with his bright blonde hair.
"Axel, you're back," he said. "Who's that?"
Axel smiled. "Roxas, Del, this is Iris. She just arrived."
"Is she your girlfriend?" Delirium joked.
"Hey, hey!" Axel said. "I don't date girls I just met, duh. I wait a day or two," he joked. He looked back at Iris. "This smart-ass is Delirium, and that's Roxas."
Roxas waved, smiling a little.
Delirium just smirked at Axel before smiling at Iris.
Iris smiled slightly, "Hi..."
"Roxas here is the newest member of Organization XIII," Axel explained. "But when Xemnas meets you, you'll become the newest member."
She nodded slightly, "Okay."
Roxas looked at Axel with concern. "Are you sure Xemnas is gonna let her join?"
"Sure he will," Axel said. "Why wouldn't he?"
"Because he didn't take me in right away, and only did because of the keyblade," Roxas said.
Delirium shrugged, "Only one way to find out."
Roxas and Axel both nodded. Axel looked at Iris. "Come on, we'll go see Xemnas."
Iris gave a slight nod, "Lead the way."
Axel led all three of them to the upper most hallway, restricted only to Xemnas, Xigbar, Xaldin, and Saix. Axel took them to a door at the end of the hallway. "Wait here...I'll talk to him first," he said. He knocked on the door and poked his head in. "Uh...hey, boss. Uhm...can I talk to you?"
Roxas could hear Xemnas' bored voice. "Come in, Axel, and make it quick."
Axel gave them a thumbs-up before disappearing inside. Roxas looked at Del. "Will he be okay?"
"As long as he dosn't make any smart-ass remarkes, yeah." Delirium said with a slight smirk, "That's my job." she joked.
Suddenly, they heard: "Absolutely NOT!"
"But...but, boss, come on! She was killed by SEPHIROTH! She'd be awesome on our team," Axel said.
Roxas began to look worried for his fire friend.
"Hmmmm... Stay here with Iris, Roxas..." Delirium said before going inside.
Roxas began to protest. "But...Del.." but by then, she was gone.
Axel looked at Delirium as she stepped into the room. "Del..."
"What do you need, Delirium?" Xemnas asked.
Delirium looked at him,"Sir, you gave Roxas a chance, and he's more than proved himself. So why not give Iris a chance?"
Xemnas looked at her. "You want her to stay too? Delirium, I don't have time for slackers. Roxas and you were exceptions, and you're not even a legitimate member."
"True, but neither is Pai." Delirium pointed out.
Xemnas nodded. "True....Alright. I want to see what she can do. I'll give her a chance."
"Yes!!" Axel exclaimed.
Xemnas sighed at Axel's enthusiasm. "Send her to the training room and I'll be with her shortly." He glared at them. "You two will stay OUT of the session. Understand?"
Delirium nodded, "Yes sir."
Axel saluted him. "Sir, yes sir!" he grinned, heading out to tell Iris and Roxas.
Xemnas sighed. "Painkillers....I need painkillers..."
Delirium resited the urge to snicker before following Axel out.
Axel came to Roxas and Iris. "He's gonna test you out," he said to Iris. "Not to worry. Just do what I showed you, and be free to explore. Xemnas won't hurt you."
Iris nodded, "If you say so..."
Axel, Roxas, and Delirium took Iris down to a large, empty room. It was almost like a gymnasium, but there was sign of fighting and debris everywhere. "Yeah..." Axel said. "Marluxia and Larxene were getting revenge on Xigbar and Luxord earlier..." He chuckled. "Don't worry about the mess."
"That's not what worries me..." Iris murmured quietly.
Axel looked at her. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Go ahead, you can tell me," Axel whispered. "I'm not gonna laugh."
Iris shook her heand, "Really, it's nothing."
Axel smiled. "I'm gonna keep asking. You better just tell me."
Iris smirked slightly, "And I'm just going keep saying it's nothing."
Axel got an evil smirk on his face. "Oh? I have ways of making you talk..." he said.
"Oh is that so?"
Delirium snickered and whispered to Roxas, "Is it me or are they flirting?"
Roxas nodded. "You bet they are."
Axel leaned into her. "Hmm? Are you sure you won't tell me?"
"I thought this was a test, not a flirting lesson," Xemnas said, stepping into the room.
Axel instantly straightened. "Heh...yeah...just...lending some secrets to the test."
Xemnas shook his head. "Alright, outside, you three."
"Sir, yes sir!" Delirium said, before dragging Roxas and Axel out with her.
Xemnas' gold eyes settled on Iris. "So, what makes you so special, child?" When she didn't respond, he smirked. "Well, you'd better show me what all you can do if you want to live. We don't take too kindly to new people here, and I'm quite surprised that the Dusks didn't eat what's left of your soul."
Iris balled her hand into a fist. She didn't like being called weak. Her eyes glowed dark blue once again. Lighting fell and struck the debri right next to Xemnas, destroying it.
Xemnas' smirk widened. "That's all. Pretty pathetic."
"Shut up...." She muttered. Dark storm-like clouds appeared, and a harsh wind started to pick up.
"Ooh, some new weather indoors," Xemnas taunted. "I'm sooooo scared."
Suddenly two daggers appeared in her hand, "I said... SHUT UP!" She launged at him, her daggered ready.
Xemnas easily moved himself to a side, the blades missing him. "Temper, temper, small one. You don't seem capable of true power here."
Iris glared at him I hate this guy... As if by instict she put her daggers together, and they formed toghter a dark Keyblade. "What the f..." she looked at her new weapon is utter shock, "How...?"
Suddenly, the keyblade was out of her hands and in Xemnas'. He looked it over. "Another one, eh?" he whispered, then dropped the weapon back into her hands. "You're a keyblade wielder too."
"But how? I-I wasn't before..."
Xemnas pondered this. "The Keyblade must have chosen you at death when you fought Sephiroth, but it was too late to save you."
"That's s no duh..." Iris muttered.
Xemnas circled her, thinking. "Either that, or it believes that maybe you weren't worthy enough to receive the Keyblade until now."
"I guess..."
Xemnas shrugged. "Oh well."
Meanwhile Del, Axel, and Roxas had their head peaking in, watching all this, "Holy crap... She has a keyblade too." Del muttered.
"But...how?" Roxas asked.
Xemnas sighed. "If I knew, Roxas, I wouldn't have been wondering, would I?" he asked, looking over at them.
Axel blanched. "Oops.."
"Uh oh..." Delirium said.
Xemnas looked over, his eyes landing on Roxas first. "Maybe some people should not snoop if they don't want to DIE AGAIN!" His eyes travelled to Axel and Del.
Delirium meeped and quickly left the room.
Axel and Roxas followed her.
Iris snickered ever so slightly at this.
"Well," Xemnas said, looking at her. "You can live here. You'll become an extra member of the Organization and live with Delirium and the other new members."
Iris nodded, "Thank you, Sir."
Xemnas snapped his fingers, a black Organization jacket appearing in his hands. He handed it to her. "You can go find your friends and ask them to show you around. Oh, and I'd watch out for a few people - Larxene, Xaldin, and Smoke. They like to kill for no reason."
"Yes, Sir."
Xemnas nodded and disappeared.
Iris left the training room, and looked for Axel, Del, and Roxas.
The three were sitting by the wall a little ways down the hall. Axel stood when he saw her. "Well...?"
Iris smiled, "You're looking at the newest memeber of the Organization."
Axel cheered. "YES!"
"Congrats," Roxas said with a smile.
Delirium smiled, "Good job."
Axel grinned. "Guess we gotta show you the new Organization HQ for recent members, huh?"
Iris nodded, "Yep."
Axel smiled. "Follow me," he said, taking all three of them outside and down the street to a smaller building. He opened the door for them. "Here it is."
Iris looked around, "Wow."
Axel nodded. "Yep. It's big enough for a whole other Organization." He sighed. "Xemnas and his Nobodies..." he muttered.
Iris looked at him, "What's wrong?"
"N-nothing," Axel said, grinning. "Come on, the new recruits should be training." He looked over at Del. "All but Del here, anyway."
Delirium just smirked.
Axel led them to the training area, where about five members of the Organization were training. "Yep, I was right." He whistled loudly. "HEY! Organization mini-meeting!!" he yelled to them.
Xajin looked at him, "What NOW?" She said walking over.
Muro looked over and stood, following Xajin.
Axel looked at them. "This is Iris. She's gonna be rooming here from now on, so show respect." He glared at them. "Remember the last member you chased out with Dusks?" He looked over at Xajin and Pai specifically, since they usually caused all the troubles.
Pai rolled her eyes, while Xajin smirked.
"Well, Xemnas says that he KNOWS who did it," Axel said.
"Does it look like I care?" Pai said.
Axel shrugged. "He didn't think you would. That's why he said that if you decide to force Iris out....well..." Axel smirked at her. "Xemnas said that if that happens, he'd like you to see him in his 'office'....and it's not going to be a pleasant time." Xemnas' "office" consisted of a laboratory that he used to experiment on Nobodies. He usually used Dusks, but if provoked, he wasn't above using his own Organization members. "And he said that a certain someone can join you." Axel's eyes wandered to Smoke.
Pai smirked, "You're a bad liar, Axel."
Axel looked at her and returned with a smirk of his own. "Maybe I'm lying, maybe I'm not. Go ahead and talk to Xemnas if you don't believe me....if he'll be happy enough to see you."
Pai rolled her eyes, "Whatever." And walked off.
Muro looked over at Pai and followed her. He came up to her side and smirked. "You're right..." he whispered. "He has no idea.."
Axel sighed. "Iris, that was Pai, and the guy was Muro. That's Smoke...if you can't tell...this is Xajin, and the dark guy over there is Remle. I don't think you're ever gonna see what he looks like."
Pai returned the smirk, "I know."
Xajin gave a slight wave at Iris and walked off.
Smoke just glanced at Iris, "..........." and walked off as well.
Remle looked back at Smoke, then to Iris again. He turned on his heel and followed Smoke.
"What a lovely group of people..." Iris said saracticly.
Axel shrugged. "Misfits, like most of us."
Roxas watched Remle and Smoke go. "Hey....Axel...those two act the same..."
"Yeah, I know," Axel said. "Kind of makes me think they're brothers or somethin'...not like it matters once you're dead. They must just have a mutual respect for each other." He looked at Iris. "Well! Let's get you situated," he said, leading her to an empty room. "Here. You'll be roomed beside Del, and she'll keep you safe."
Iris nodded, "Okay."
Suddenly, Saix appeared. "Axel!!" he snapped.
Axel groaned, going over to Saix. "Yo, what's up." The Lunar Divider grabbed Axel and shoved him into the wall. "Hey, what's your problem?!"
Saix glared angrily at him. "Slinking off without permission? Xemnas didn't say you could head out into the city after your disaster last week." Axel looked away. "So where did you find the girl?"
"None of your business..." Axel grumbled.
Iris hid behind Delirium and Roxas slightly. She didn't like the looks of this Saix person.
Saix looked over at Iris, then his eyes caught Roxas and Delirium. He looked at Axel, grasping him by the jacket and lifting him angrily. "Don't be so cocky, Axel. You're still lower than me." He dropped the red head to the floor, handing him a letter. "This is for you from Xemnas. Get to work." He turned and disappeared.
Axel sighed, still sitting on the floor. He opened the letter and read his mission. He slowly stood.
Iris went over to him, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah..." Axel said. "I gotta run. Something's going on down at Hallow Bastion." He looked at Delirium and Roxas. "Keep her safe. I'll be back later." He disappeared through a darkness portal.
Roxas smiled. "He's fine. He'll be back. Xemnas and Saix like to push him around."
Iris sighed, "A little harsh for just pushing him around."
Roxas looked at her a little sadly. "They don't like him at all...No one seems to appreciate him besides us."
"Not all of them are bad though." Delirium said, "Demyx is a nice guy."
Roxas nodded. "Yeah, Demyx is pretty cool. He likes to joke around and his music relaxes us when we're stressed." He thought for a minute. "If you can wield the Keyblade...maybe that's why Xemnas treats you differently. He does the same for me."
"Sounds like he picks favorites." Iris said.
"Only because of the Keyblade," Roxas said. "I only wish I knew why it chose me..."
Iris nodded, "Same here..."
Xemnas appeared out of a portal, smiling to the three. "I trust you're helping our new acquaintance get used to things?" he asked Del and Roxas.
Delirium nodded, "Yes, sir."
Roxas nodded as well.
Xemnas smirked lightly. "Good. We have a new friend here today as well. Come and see," he said, heading back to the main Organization building.
"Come on," Roxas said. "If we're slow, he'll make us train with Marluxia and Xaldin again..."
"Ugh yeah..." Delirium shuddered at the thought of having to train with Marluxia and Xaldin.
Roxas looked at Iris. "Come on, you too. He won't mind."
Iris smiled slightly, "Okay."
Roxas led them back to the main building, where a few of the members stood. Xemnas stood there, and waited until Roxas, Delirium, and Iris came in.
Xemnas looked at them all. "There's someone here that I'd like for you to meet." He moved to a side and exposed a girl with blond hair wearing a white dress. "This is Naminé, a Nobody and a witch. She's here to help us, but she cannot fight. She cannot be a member of the Organization. I expect you all to treat her well, even if I am not around." He looked over at Roxas briefly, then to Marluxia and Larxene. "You two are in charge of looking after her. Understood?"
Larxene gave a half-shrug, but Marluxia smirked in Naminé's direction. "Sure, boss man," Marluxia said.
Roxas leaned over to Iris. "That's Marluxia and Larxene," he whispered. "Stay away from them."
Iris gave a nod, "Got it."
Roxas looked at Naminé, feeling strange. He felt like he knew her from somewhere.
"Roxas," Xemnas snapped. Roxas straightened. "Your friends and you can find Naminé a room."
Roxas nodded. "Yes, sir." He looked back at Del and Iris as Naminé walked over, looking very timid. "Hi there," he said nicely to her.
She lightly touched her blond hair. "Uhm....hi..." she said softly.
Roxas smiled. "Come on, let's show you to your room." He took her, Del and Iris up to a spare room. However, this room had a white desk in it, which Naminé went to. "You can stay here."
Naminé nodded. "Thank you." She looked at Iris. "Why are you so confused? The keyblade chose you because you needed it."
Iris looked at her with a suprised looked on her face, "How did you...?"
Naminé walked up to Iris and tapped her chest. "You still have one of these, deep inside. The keyblade only chooses those who had the keyblade in life, and you did not."
Roxas looked confused. "So...I had a keyblade when I lived?"
Naminé nodded, looking back to Iris. "Remember me, Iris, when all else fails. I may be able to help you from time to time...even if someone stands in my way."
Iris gave a slight nod, "Okay."
Naminé smiled. "Wake up."
Riku shook Iris. "Wake up...Iris, wake up!"
Iris woke up with a slight yelp.
Riku looked at her. "Are you alright? You passed out." Axel stood beside Riku, looking worried as well.
"I-I'm fine. It was just another flash back." Iris said.
Axel looked at her in surprise. "What happened?"
"It was about when I first meet you and joined the Organization..." she explained.
Axel nodded. "Then you'll recognize her..." he said, pointing to Delirium at his side.
Iris nodded, "Yeah. She helped you convice Xemnas to let me stay."
Axel smiled. "Yeah. What else did you dream of?"
Iris explained the rest of the dream.
Axel scratched his head. "Naminé said that? Damn...wish I had been there."
"But..." Delirium said, "She didn't say any of that."
Axel looked at Delirium. "What do you mean? Iris just said she did."
"But she didn't, Axel." Delirium said.
Axel scratched his head. "Enh? What did Naminé say, then?"
"Not much really." Delirium said with a shrug.
"Anything important?" Axel persisted. He hated when she beat around the bush.
Delirium sighed, "Not that I remember... " She then thought for a moment, "And come to think of it... Roxas wasn't there when we met Naminé."
"Huh?!" Axel yelled. "What do you mean? Iris said he was...Where Was he?"
"Xemans gave him an assinment right after you left."
Axel was thoroughly confused, but nodded. "Oh...okay.."
Iris looked confused as well.
Delirium looked at Iris, "But everything else you mention before that is right."
Axel shrugged. "Odd, but, oh well. We got stuff to acomplish. Namely, wiping Pai out of existence."
"That's going to be loads of fun." Delirium said sarcasticly.
Axel sat down. "Well, it'll be fun once she's...you know...GONE, but we'll just have to work hard til then."
"I know." Delirium sat beside him.
Riku looked at them and crossed his arms. "She's that bad, huh?"
"Well, no," Axel said. "She's pretty strong, but her real strength is her brain. She's a genius, basically, and can hold her own. She can take your abilities if she gets you to hold still long enough. No, the real threat is her bodyguard. You've met him - Smoke."
Riku shivered a little. "I haven't faced someone that strong since Ansem...or Xehanort's Heartless or whatever."
"Smoke's worse than him." Delirium said.
"If he's so powerful then... why does he work of Pai then?" Iris asked.
"Smoke is made of darkness," Delirium explained. "Pai can has full control over darkness. So he's under her control."
Axel nodded. "That guy can kill almost anything he wants. The only problem is that Pai hasn't ordered him to kill any of us." He glanced at Delirium. "She's up to something."
Delirium nodded in agreement, "And we need to figure out what."
Riku looked confused. "Huh?"
"Pai has had tons of chances to kill Del and I," Axel explained. "If she hasn't done so yet, it's odd. Especially since Smoke has been on our tail EVERY step of the way. She's got something planned for not only us, but for you guys too. She's seen how strong you all are now - she'll be prepared next time."
"So if we don't figure what she's planning, we're screwed." Delirium added.
Riku sighed.
"Hey, calm down, kid," Axel said. "Del and I will keep Smoke away from you guys for as long as we can. But that nasty thing needs to die, and it needs to die soon, or we won't have a very long future."
"But how can we kill him? He's all but invicible." Iris sighed.
"Everything has a weakness." Delirium said, "He has one we just need to be quick on finding out what it is."
Axel sighed. "Yep, we're screwed."
"Yeah, pretty much..." Delirium sighed.
Axel stood. "Look, this is ridiculous. We should find them and stop this, once and for all. We keep waiting around, and she's gonna come HERE."
"Actually, more like I will." Xajin said, leaning against wall.
Axel looked back at her. "What, she didn't feel like dragging hersel down here?" he asked, annoyed. He glared at the woman there.
"Well hello back at you." Xajin smirked before looking at Sora, "Hello Roxas."
Sora looked confused. "Roxas?"
"Don't go there, Xaj," Axel warned angrily.
Xajin ignored Axel, "I know you can hear me Roxas." she smirked, "No use acting like you can't hear me."
"Maybe I don't want to talk," Sora said, looking at Xajin. "Not like you know me anyway."
She gave Sora an annoyed look, "I was talking to Roxas. Not the weak pathetic Light Dweller, that he hides behind."
Sora shrugged. "You ARE talking to Roxas," he said.
"Whatever. I'm just here to deliver a message to you from Xail."
Sora nodded, his form blurring and turning into Roxas, clad in his Twilight Town outfit. "Fine. What is it?"
Xajin smiled darkly, "She says that you better soon say goodbye to your little friends. Because one by one you'll see them die and there will be nothing you or anyone can do about it."
"How about she come down and say it to me herself?" Roxas said back, angry. He approached Xajin, fists clenched. "My friends are staying with me."
Xajin smirked, "You got a problem with it then do somthing about it. Otherwise..." she pointed at Axel and Delirium, "They'll be the first ones to die."
"Don't let her psyche you out, Roxas!" Axel yelled. "She just wants to push you over the edge!"
Roxas glared angrily at Xajin. "I won't lose to the Organization," he said.
"Oh really now? Then mabey I should go get Smoke now then." Xajin laughed, creating a darkness portal, "I'm sure he'll enjoy ripping Axy and Del apart."
Roxas leaped forward, separating from Sora, keyblades in hand. He slashed angrily at Xajin.
Xajin smirked and grabbed one of his keyblades, yanking him into the portal with her.
"ROXAS!!" Axel yelled, running towards the portal.
"Oops. Little Axy is too late." Xajin giggled darkly, before closing the portal.
Axel narrowly missed the portal, running through empty air. He frantically looked back. "Roxas!" he yelled.
Sora looked on, confused and worried.
"Dammit!" Delirium growled.
Axel turned back to Delirium. "We...we gotta go after them!"
She nodded, quickly opening a portal, "Lets go!"
Axel looked back at Sora. "Wait! What...what about him?" He looked to Riku. "Keep him safe, okay? If he dies, so does Roxas!"
Riku nodded.
"Let's go, Del," Axel said, hurrying into the portal.
Delirium nodded and quickly followed.
The portal opened up and let them out in The World that Never was. Axel came through, looking around frantically for any sign of Roxas. "Roxas?!" he called.
"Awww how cute..." Xajin said as she appeared on top of a near by building, "Little Axy and Del are going to try to save their friend."
Delirium glared up at Xajin, "Where's Roxas you witch!?"
Xajin shurgged, "Around." She smirked, "Like it matters. By the time you find him, you'll be too late."
"WHAT?!?!?!" Axel yelled. His fire was now in his hands. "What have you done to him?!"
"I've done nothing to him." Xajin placed her hands on her hips.
Axel growled. "What has the Organization done to him?!"
Xajin snickered, "Lets just say that a certin Ice-man is back, and he's doing what he does best."
"Vexen?!" Axel called up. "That whacked out man is gonna disect him!"
Xajin just shrugged again, "Not my problem."
Delirium growled, taking out her gun, aiming at Xajin, "You witch!"
Xajin smirked in amusment, "What? You gonna kill me? Ha! Like you could. It ain't my fault little Roxas was an easy catch."
"DIE!!" Axel shouted, his chakrams appearing and swiftly flying at her. His fire shot out at her as well from another side.
She just laughed as she dissapeared in her darkness, and reappeared on a different building, "You have to do better then THAT!"
Axel looked at Del. "Go find Roxas, Del. Xajin's just trying to distract us. Hurry!"
Delirium nodded, "Right." She ripped open a portal and ran through.
Xajin smirked, "Looks like little Axy found himself a new girlfriend. Hope Smoke dosn't kill her."
"I have faith in her," Axel said simply, catching his chakrams. "Now, you gonna talk or fight?"
"Fight." She took out her harpoon, "Now are you gonna come over here or do I have to drag you over?"
Axel disappeared into his darkness, reappearing near her. "No need." He twirled his chakrams a few times. "Ready? Let's go."
Xajin readied her arm blades, "Age before beauty."
Axel smirked. "Okay, go first, then." He flicked his hair back.
Xajin rolled her eyes, "I think not."
Suddenly, Axel's fire sprang up in a circle around them, closing them in. "Good. Distracted you long enough." He twirled his chakrams and threw one angrily at her.
"Sneaky little bastard..." she cursed as she knocked his attack away with one of her blades.
Delirium ran throw the hallways of the Organiztion's hidout, looking around franticly for Roxas, "Dammit where did they put him!?"
"Looking for someone?" a man asked. Lounging on one of the taller door frames was a man with black hair, bangs hinding his one eye. He smirked down at her. "Or did you just lose something?"
Delirium glared up at him, "Who the hell are you!?"
He shrugged. "Nobody. If you need a name, it's Muro. Nice to see you again, Del."
She frowned, "Ugh not YOU! I have NO time for one of Pai's little pets!"
"Pet? Please...Pai was always Xemnas' prodigy. You're jealous that you were put in the box labeled Outcasts with your stupid fire-man Axel," Muro replied. He shrugged. "Anyway...it seems you've lost your toy too."
Delirium growled, "Where's Roxas!?"
Muro shrugged. "Last I saw, Smoke was dragging him off someplace. Pai was awfully happy to see him go."
"Ugh I have no time for you!" Delirium said before running off.
He smirked once she had gone, looking down into the dark corner nearby. "You were right. She fell for that one easily. So, what now?"
Pai stepped out, "Check on Xajin. She may strong but so is Axel. And we don't want him to interfere this time."
"As you wish," Muro replied, quickly disappearing through a portal.
Delirium skidded to a stop when she saw someone. Her eyes widened, "Roxas!"
The blond haired teen was in his Organization robe, and he looked back at her briefly before running down the nearby hall and away from her.
She watched him run off "...Roxas?" She quickly followed him, "Roxas wait!"
Roxas led her into a large, empty white room with the large Organization symbol on the floor. He turned to look at her as she came in the door.
Delirium walked towards him, "Roxas, are you okay?"
Both keyblades appeared in his hands. "Are you going to talk, or fight? I'm not a little kid. I don't need your pity."
Delirium took a step back, "What? Roxas, what's gotten into you?"
"You betrayed the Organization, and we don't allow for traitors to live. Either fight or run. I won't give you the option to escape again," Roxas said, keyblades out and ready.
Her eyes narrowed, "...You're not Roxas..."
He looked at her strangely. "Of course I am," he said. "Just not the Roxas you know."
She shook her head, "No you're not..."
"I'm done talking, Delirium. Leave or fight," Roxas said.
Delirium backed away slightly, reaching Axel with her tlepthy, "Axel we have a big problem..."
Axel blocked Xajin's attack, flipping away from her and Muro. He breathed heavily, blood streaking down his cheek from a cut to the cheekbone. What's wrong? he thought, knowing she could hear him.
Muro lashed his whip at Axel, catching his arm tightly. He sent ice searing up through the whip's rope, lacing the fire-wielder's hand. "Distracted, traitor?"
Axel threw his chakram into the ice, shattering it off of his arm. "I'm having a conversation with someone. DON'T INTERRUPT!"
"Vexen made a replica of Roxas..." Delirium glanced at the relica.
DAMNIT!! Well...Del...you're kind of screwed. Even I couldn't beat him, Axel thought.
"Yeah and you're a better fighter then me." Delirium thought, "..But he's just a replica... so I might be able to tap into his mind..."
Either that, or find Vexen and smack the crap outta him, Axel thought. Just be careful...please.
"...Same to you, Axel..."
Roxas suddenly was in front of Delirium, swiping his keyblades at her.
Delirium snapped out of it, barely managing to flip out of the way.
Roxas ran after her, throwing one of his keyblades at her. He got to her, jumping up and flipping over her.
Delirium used her teleckeises to knock the keyblades away, "Stop it dammit!" she growled and shot a teleckentic blast at him.
Roxas flew backwards by the hit and landed on his feet with some difficulty. "Surrender, then."
She glared at him, "I won't surrender to a Roxas-look-a-like!" She jumped onto a platform, taking out her gun. She quickly aimed, and fired serveral shots.
Roxas used his keyblades as shields for a few of the shots, then sprang out of the way. He threw his keyblades into the air above her, then jumped, catching them, and came straight down at her with them.
Delirium was able to block the first the attack with her telekinesis, but wasn't quick enough to stop the second. She yelled in pain, falling off the ledge.
Roxas grabbed her hand before she fell, looking at her. He dragged her back onto the ledge, shoving her further across. "Pai would be angry if I let you die so easily. Besides, I'm having fun."
"Gee thanks." Delirium said with sarcasim, "And sooo glad you're having fun too!" she yelled angerily before hitting him with a telekinetic punch, and disapeared in her darkness. She reappeared back on the ground.
Roxas stumbled backwards, almost falling back off of the ledge. He quickly followed her, landing near her. "You're a good fighter, so why not have fun? Axel always used to tell me that the job is only half the battle." He held out his keyblades in a fighting stance. "You used to tell me that too."
"Times change." Delirium said, purple telekinetic energy formed in her hands. "And I don't know what Pai has told you, but you're not Roxas. Not the real one anyways." She smirked, "I could never fight Roxas because he's like a little brother to me. But as for you..." She shot another blast at him followed by a another punch, "That's a whole diffrent story!"
Roxas flew backwards, hitting the floor and skidding across it. He grabbed the floor and flipped himself up, throwing his keyblades at her. He ran towards her, and as she went to block his keyblades, he jumped up and grabbed them both, slashing down at her in his descent.
She yelped and held her side where he slashed. She started to bleed, "Dammit!" Delirium mumbled. There was no way she could beat him. She quickly did a mind scan for Vexen. Once she found his location she dissapeared in her darkness, and reappearing in a lab of somesort, "Okay Vexen I KNOW you're here! So show yourself!"
Vexen looked over at her. "Oh, it's you," he said. "Well, I can't say I'm surprised. Though...maybe you shouldn't be here. After all, you left Axel all alone with Muro and Xajin. And I heard Smoke was going to join them soon." He smirked. "Poor Axy, all alone."
Delirium's eyes widened. 'Oh god no!' She glared at Vexen, "I'll be back for you later!" and dissapeared in her darkness.
Vexen shook his head. "Should have thought things through."
Muro kicked Axel in the stomach, forcing him back onto the ground. He sighed and looked back at Xajin. "Too bad he's almost done. The fight was just starting to get bloody, too."
"I know." Xajin kicked Axel in the ribs, "Man Axy we were told you were a good fighter but it looks like that's not true." She smirked darkly then looked at Muro, "You wanna finish him off or shall I?"
Axel slowly got to his feet, staggering lightly. He picked up his bloody chakrams, glaring at them. "I'm not done yet," he said weakly.
"Good," Muro replied. "Because I'm itching to finish you off." He looked at Xajin. "We'd best hurry. Smoke'll come soon and he'll kill him in a moment without any fun for us."
"That oversized soot ball gets all the fun." Xajin said as she threw Axel into a wall with her harpoon, "But not this time."
Axel hit the wall, sliding down it and sitting on the ground there. He looked up and was suddenly grabbed by Muro and hauled to his feet.
Muro threw Axel in between Xajin and him. "Keep fighting, Axy. That's what makes it more fun for us."
Axel shot fire all around him to keep them away from him as he recovered a little. "Bite me, Organization scum."
Xajin simply teleported herself and Muro right infront of Axel. She jump kicked him in the gut, followed by slashing in the side with her blades, "Tsk tsk. Littly Axy shouldn't talk like that." She grinned.
Axel fell out of his fire ring, and the flames disappeared. He fell to the ground, but quickly got himself back up.
Muro drew his blade and rushed Axel, stabbing directly into him.
Axel grabbed the blade and knocked it away from Muro before it hit him and flipped backwards. He quickly drew up a darkness portal to try and get away from them, at least temporarily.
Xajin shot out her harpoon, catching Axel in the shoulder, "I don't think so!" With a hard jerk, she dragged him back over.
Axel stumbled backwards, falling onto his back on the ground. He yelped with pain as he landed on his cut back.
Muro sighed. "Too bad, Axy. You could have been a very powerful member."
The red-head slowly got to his feet, calling back his chakrams. He threw both angrily at Xajin, then turned and kicked Muro square in the chest, sending him back. He turned back around and shot fire at Xajin while she was distracted with his chakrams.
Xajin dissapeared in her darkness, reappearing behind Axel, slashing his side again, "Time to die Axy." She went to stab him in the back, only to have her blades knocked off by a zooming bullet, "Gah! What the hell!?"
"Get away from him!" Delirium yelled as she jumped down in front of Xajin and Muro. She punched her fist into the ground sending a telekinetic wave straight into them.
Muro grabbed Xajin's arm and disappeared into his darkness. He reappeared, letting Xajin out of his portal, and appearing himself behind Delirium. He slashed at her with his whip.
Delirium yelped in pain. She whirled around and telekinetic kicked him in the face, "Back off!"
Muro stumbled backwards, holding his cheek. He growled at her, shoving a large gout of ice into the floor and sending it right at her. "Xajin, go get Smoke. Tell him that Del is with Axel!"
Xajin gave a quick nod and dissapered in her darkness.
Delirium flipped out of the way, countering with a telekinetic blast. She then went over to Axel, helping him up, both dissapearing in her darkness.
Axel looked up at her as they reappeared. "I told you to find Roxas..." he said weakly. He smiled. "Got lonely without me?"
"Something like that." Delirium smiled back, helping him up.
Axel slowly began standing on his own, wincing at the pain. "Damn them," he muttered. "Did you beat the Rox-Replica?"
Delirium sighed, absentmindedly placing her hand on the still bleeding wound the replica gave her, "He was too strong for me."
"Let's just find the real Roxas and leave. Pai must have him, or Smoke. I'm surprised I haven't heard him scream or yell for us," Axel said. "Maybe Vexen has him asleep."
Delirium nodded, "Most likely. But we need to get you healed first. You look like hell."
"You need to be healed too," Axel said. "Too bad we don't know anyone who can do that..."
"You guys do now." Iris appeared out from a portal of light, followed by Donald and Goofy.
Axel looked over at Iris. "Iris? What...what are you doing here?" He got worried. "You need to leave! If they capture you too, then we're all dead."
"No. Riku had me and these two," Iris pointed to Donald and Goofy, " come help you two, while he and the king watch over Sora."she said simply, "Besides you guys need some serious healing."
Axel chuckled lightly, lowering his head. "I guess so..."
Iris smirked before casting Curuaga on both of them, "Feel any better?"
Axel straightened, stretching. "Much. Thanks."
Iris nodded, then scanned the world around her. She never got a chance to last time, "So this was 'home' eh?"
Delirium nodded, "Yeah for awhile anyways."
"Hmph..." Iris' eyes then laid on the Organzation HQ. Her eyes narrowed as something finally clicked in her mind. She held her head in pain, "Argh!"
Axel looked at her. "Iris?!" he asked, worried.
Donald and Goofy looked up at her. "Gawrsh, what's wrong?" Goofy asked.
Delirium shook her head, "I don't know."
Suddenly Iris stopped, and she stood. Her eyes were glowing a slight blue, "I remember... I remember everything."
Axel's eyes widened. "Ooohhh boy..." he sighed. "Now we have a pissed off girl on our hands." He shook his head. "No time. We gotta find Roxas. Now!"
Delirium made a portal, "Find Vexen then we most likely find Roxas."
"Wak! Vexen is alive!?" Donald yelled.
Axel growled. "I'll kill him again," he muttered. "We'd better hurry, or Vexen will give Roxas to Pai." He looked at Del. 'Funny, I haven't seen her around...'
Delirium looked at him. 'I know... I couldn't find her even with my mind scan... unless she found a way to block it...'
'That's...bad...' Axel frowned. He sighed. "Come on, let's go." He hurried towards Vexen's lab, taking an old path he used to take when he wanted to bother the man. "Del, is the Replica nearby?"
She used her mind scan but only came out empty, "Okay Pai must've found a way to block me because I can't find the Replica now..." She frowned, "The weird thing is only another mentalist can block a mind scan and the only other one I know of is..." Delirium's eyes narrowed, "Zexion..."
Axel groaned. "Not him too!" He sighed, hurrying them towards Vexen's lab. He tried opening the door, but it was locked. "Stupid scientist!" He kicked the door down angrily, striding it. "VEXY!!" he yelled, looking around. He looked around the lab and saw no sign of the replica or Roxas. He turned to Del. "Go find Zexion and get rid of him. I'll find Vexen and kill him once and for all."
Iris walked off in a different direction, with Donald, and Goofy close behind.
"Hey where are you going!?" Delirium said.
"To go find Roxas..." Iris said simply.
Axel looked back at her. "Hey! Be careful! If you need help, just think it!" He looked at Del. "You be careful too. Zexion can smell you a mile away."
"Yes. But an advantage of being a menalist is that I can sense other metalists." Delirium grinned, "I'll let you know once Zexion is out of the picture."
Axel paused and looked at her. "What if Pai took your power?"
She shook her head, "She needs to get ahold of someone to take their power, and she never got a chance to do so to me."
Axel nodded. "See you soon," he said, hurrying further into the lab to find Vexen.
Delirium ran off. 'Okay Zexy I KNOW you can hear me! Having fun working for the bitch?'
'I don't know. Are you having fun dragging along that fool Axel everywhere you go?' Zexion answered sourly.
Delirium smirked. 'Bold words for somone who's nothing but all talk.'
'Not when I have Roxas on my side,' Zexion countered.
Deirium growled, "You coward!" she said out loud. She turned a corner and found Zexion there, "I'm gonna beat the living shit outta you Zexy!"
The Roxas Replica stepped in between her and Zexion. Zexion smiled only slightly. "So you think. Go ahead and have fun. I'm bored of this game."
Roxas slashed angrily at her.
Delirium jumped back, and shot a telekinteticblast at Roxas, knocking him right into Zexion, "Shut up!"
Roxas quickly got to his feet, twirling his keyblades angrily. He shot several water blasts at Del from his keyblades.
Delirium put a teleknetic sheild out infront of her, delfecting the blasts right back at him.
Roxas ran at her, getting barely out of the way of her attacks as he thrust his keyblades into her shield full-force.
Her shield starting cracking. She swore and thrusted it foward with all her strength, shoving Roxas away. She then ran at him, doing a telekintetic jumpkick to his face, followed by a full-force punch.
Roxas flew backwards, smacking into a wall and crumpling to the floor.
Zexion looked at the replica, then to Delirium. He sighed. "Oh well. Good help is so hard to find these days..."
Dleirum quickly drew her gun and aimed at Zexion, "You're next!" and fired several shots.
Zexion easily dodged the bullets, flipping over them. He landed some distance away. He sighed again. "Come on. This is so boring."
Suddenly a purple telekintetic clawed hand attack Zexion from behind, slamming him face first into the ground, "Is this boring now?" Delirium said with a smirk.
Zexion fell to the floor, stunned. He heard footsteps behind him and turned to look up, seeing Axel standing there with blood on his jacket. "Axel?" he asked.
Axel looked past him to Del and waved. "Gonna finish him off?"
Delirium aimed her gun at Zexion's head. Right as she was about to pull the trigger, Roxas' voice reached her mind "DEL! HELP!" She could literally feel the pain and fear in his voice, "Argh!" She held her head, "Roxas is screaming for help...!" she managed to say, "He's in pain!"
"I'll go," Axel said. "You finish him off." Axel hurried out of the room and went towards the throne room, hoping to find Pai or someone there who knew where Roxas was.
Delirium nodded, and recovered, standing back up, "So... where were we?" she smirked at Zexion, "Oh yeah." She grabbed her gun and aimed for his head once again.
Zexion flipped to his feet, kicking her gun back. He smirked. "Did I do a good job?" he asked her.
Delirium knocked him back to the ground with a telekinteticblast, "I've seen better." she said.
"Not that," he laughed. "I meant Roxas' voice. He's been screaming for a good half hour now..." Zexion smiled at her. "I'd love to see the look on Axy's face when he comes face-to-face with Pai and Smoke."
Delirium's eye's widen, "You BASTARD!" She yelled as she did a full-force teleknetic punch to his stomach.
Zexion gasped in pain, curling up. He looked back at her and sent his own telekintetic strike at her abdomen. "You're not the only one who can control people."
Delirium yelped in pain, then glared at Zexion, "Shut up!" she puched her fist into the ground sending a wave of telekinteic eneergy at him.
Zexion flipped over it, landing gently and kicking a blast at her. "Make me!"
Delirium rolled out of the way, and countered with a blast of her own, "I will!"
He sent up a shield, and moved, so when the blast broke his shield he was already near her. He kicked and punched two blasts at her. "Better hurry, Del. You're gonna lose more friends if you don't speed it up."
Delirium hit the wall with a thud. She swore and got back to her feet. Axel! Get out of there! It's a trap!" She ran at Zexion, blast punching him in the the stomach again, followed a hard kick.
Zexion got hit in the stomach, and he barely dodged the second attack. He turned and countered quickly.
Axel hurried into the main throne room, out of breath. He glanced around worriedly. "Roxas?!" he shouted. "Iris?!" He sighed.
'Axel! Get out of there! It's a trap!'
"Oh no..." he muttered, whipping around and trying to head for the door, but it shut on him before he reached it. He kicked it. "Damn it!" he growled, turning back around. He sighed once more, heading for the stairs. There was nowhere to go but up now.
"Hello again Axy!" Xajin grinned, appearing on the stairs, "Still looking for little Roxas?" She smirked, "You know he's just dying to see you again."
Axel looked up and caught sight of her. At her words, his eyes widened and he hurried up to her on the stairs, chakrams out. "You bitch!" he yelled, throwing his chakrams at her.
Xajin flipped higher up the stairs, laughing, "I never saw anyone endure as much pain as little Roxas is going through. You should hear him beg for it all to stop. I guess he's not as strong as I thought."
"Roxas would never beg!" Axel yelled at her. He sent fire at her angrily, racing up the steps. "He's never begged in his life, even after the tortures he endured by Xemnas and Saix!"
She grinned, easily avioding the fire, "Are you sure about that? I honestly don't think he's going to last much longer." And then she ran up the stairs.
Axel followed her quickly, his chakrams disappearing. He quickly reached the top of the stairs and followed the usual path to the platform. "ROXAS!!" he yelled, looking for his friend.
"He's not here." Xajin laughed.
Axel turned towards Xajin's voice, his chakrams appearing in his hands. "Where is he?!" he screamed, his fire surrounding. his hands. "What have you done to him?!"
Xajin put her finger to her lips in mock thought, "I believe Iris is near the area where litte Roxas is..." She smirked, "Won't she be surpised when she sees him near death, as well as a half the Organization there, waiting to kill her."
Axel's eyes widened. "No...No, no, no!!" he yelled angrily. He whipped around and ran for the stairs, stopping when he remembered the door was closed. He turned back around to look at Xajin. "You alone, witch? Good. I'll just destroy you, here and now."
"Actaully, theres an oversized soot ball here... Somewhere." She grinned.
He growled. "I'll deal with him later!" he yelled, throwing his chakrams at her. Fire erupted through the ground, going straight for her.
Xajin dissapeared in her darkness, giggling, "You look so pathetic when you're mad Axy." She said reappearing on a pillar. Her smile darkened, "I would look behind you, if I were you..."
Axel's eyes widened and he quickly disappeared into his fire, reappearing several feet away. He glanced back at where he stood. "Oh no..." he muttered.
Smoke stood there, smirking darkly. He advanced toward Axel, "Looks like we meet again. But this time I received orders to kill you."
"Not gonna happen, ugly," Axel retorted, throwing his flames down once more and disappearing into them again. He reappeared at the edge of the stairs, where he ran and jumped off down to one of the far lower platforms. He barely caught the ledge on his feet, and he winced at the hard fall. He jumped to his feet and hurried off of the platform and down to the next. Del, you have to find Iris, NOW! She's gonna find Roxas...but she's gonna run right into half of the Organization! Axel thought to his friend. I'm not gonna make it in time. Please, don't worry about me. Just go to her and save her!
'Okay. Please don't get yourself killed Axel...'
Axel skidded to a halt on one of the platforms, turning and taking out his chakrams. He had to distract Smoke and Xajin, if at least for a little while. 'I'll try, Del...'
Xajin jumped from piller to piller until she was at the same level as Axel. She landed on a borken piller, and perched there, "Is little Axy saying goodbye to his girlfriend before he dies? How cute."
"Too bad there's no one to care if you should die, Xajin," Axel said with a smirk. "It's a shame you'll have to die lonely."
Xajin shrugged, "Love is pointless. Espaically when you have no heart."
"Jealous, Xaj?" Axel asked. "You think love can't happen just because you lack a heart? I think you do have a heart, Xajin. It's just made of stone." He threw one of his chakrams at her and sent fire swirling up the pillar.
Xajin jumped off, landing lightly on her feet, "Yeah I most likely would have a heart of stone." She grinned she took out her blades, "Soot ball is gonna be here soon, so I think I'll have alittle fun before he hogs it all." She ran at him slashing at his face with her blades.
Axel ducked under her blades, barely missing the cuts. He rolled out of the way, catching his chakrams and throwing them at her angrily.
Xajin flipped out of the way, countering by firing a blast of darkness at him.
Axel turned, barely missing the attack as he shot fireballs in rapid succession at her as she moved.
Xajin just barely missed all but one of the fireballs. She yelled she smacked into a piller, cracking it, "Damn pyro!" She hissed jumping to her feet. She fired her harpoon, hitting him in the leg.
Axel yelped in pain as the harpoon went into his leg while he was catching his chakrams. He threw his chakrams at her angrily, hoping to distract her for a few seconds. He dropped to one knee as he tried to pull the weapon out of his leg. He managed to after several seconds, staggering to his feet and ignoring the blood that fell out of his wound. He winced at putting pressure on his leg now, but ignored it as he shot fire at her through the ground, lancing it angrily at her.
Xajin flipped onto the broken piller, avoiding the fire. She was able to dodge the first chakram. Right as she stood, the spikes from the second slashed the side of her face. She jerked her head away with a yelp of pain. She glared back at Axel, dark blood rolling down her cheeck, "You fucking bastard!" She jumped at him, her hands glowing red. She grabbed ahold of him and started draining his life energy.
Axel grabbed her and struggled to be free of her as she drained his life away. He brought his knee angrily into her stomach, then took his hands, curled them into fists, and slammed them both together into the side of her head. "GET BACK!!" he yelled, his hands lighting on fire.
Xajin rolled out of the way and doubled over in pain, holding her stomach.
Axel stumbled back, unzipping his jacket quickly. He knelt down and tore his shirt, quickly wrapping his leg wound to stop the bleeding. He sighed once finished, zipping up his jacket and approaching Xajin with his chakrams. "Die, you bitch," he said, throwing his chakrams at her from close range.
Two clawed hands caught them right before they reached her.
Axel froze, looking over at Smoke. He took a few steps back, his hands lighting on fire. He quickly sent several fireballs at him and Xajin.
Smoke yanked his chain off while Xajin disappeared in her darkness.
He sighed, summoning his chakrams back to his side. He twirled them lightly, angrily as he looked at Smoke. 'Just keep them here...' he thought. 'Just keep them here long enough for Del to save Iris. Roxas...please...be okay. Forgive me for not being there for you. I failed you again, buddy...' He yelled, lighting his body on fire in order to keep them from touching him directly. "Come on!!"
Xajin appeared on the upper level, still recovering from the blow she revieced to her stomach, "I think I'll pass for the moment..." she said bitterly.
Smoke smirked at Axel in amusement, "I see you're actaully using your head for once."
Axel glared at them, sending his fire out in all directions towards them. He kept a good amount on his own body for protection, his chakrams in his hands and ready to be used.
They faze through smoke, "Pathatic..."
Xajin barely dodged the fire, "Fuck this!" She dissapeared in her darkness.
Axel breathed heavily, his fire slowly beginning to fade around him as he lost his energy. 'Not now...Come on, just a little longer!' He glanced at Smoke and knew he didn't have much time before he was crushed. Hurry, Del! You have to save her NOW!'
Delirium ran through the hallways, looking franticly for Iris, Donald and Goofy. She growled in furserartion before trying to reach them with her telpathy. 'Can any of you guys hear me? Where are you?'
'Gawrsh, Del, you're awfully loud! We're near the dungeons, lookin' for Roxas,' Goofy replied to her.
Delirium blinked. She wasn't exactly expected to get a reply from him. She just shrugged it off. 'Okay listen to me, you guys are heading for a trap. Half the Organization is waiting there. They're going to do whatever it takes to get rid of Iris. I need you tell her what I said. Can you do that?'
Goofy stopped. "Uhm...Iris...Del wants me to tell you that we're heading for a trap. Half of the Organization is waitin' for us."
"What!?" Iris skidded to a stop, "That's just great. Now how are we going to help Roxas..." she thought to herself.
Goofy shrugged. "I dunno. Maybe we should uh...find Del, and see what she thinks. Or maybe go and bring Riku and Sora here."
"No need to find me..." Delirium said as she finally reached them. 'Axel I found them... How are you doing over there?'
Axel fell to the floor, his blood dripping from the blow Smoke gave him to his head. He slid along the floor from the attack and almost fell off the ledge. He slowly got back to his feet. 'Enh, pretty good, I suppose...We gotta find a way to save Roxas...Maybe Sora can help. If he and Roxas become one again, it'll save Roxas' life.'
'Okay we'll go get the others then... Hang in there Axel...'
Axel smiled as he looked at Smoke. 'Don't worry about me. Stay safe, and get Roxas back.' He picked up his chakrams from the ground and threw them at Smoke. 'I'll keep the Organization busy. They'll eventually be looking for you, and if they only find me, they may leave Roxas alone for a bit to find out where you went.'
'Just don't die on me okay?'
Axel looked at Smoke as he caught his chakrams again. He sighed, not knowing what to say to her. 'Okay...I promise.'
Delirium sighed then quickly ripped open a portal, "Okay you three go get the King and Riku. I'll cacth up in alittle bit."
"How's Axel doing?" Iris asked.
Delirium sighed and shook her head, "He said he's fine... but I'm not so sure." She looked at the three of them, and pointed to the portal, "Now get going."
Goofy and Donald ran in first, hurrying to find Riku, Mickey and Sora. "Come on, Iris," Goofy called.
"Go on." Delirium said to Iris.
Iris sighed and nodded, "We'll be back as soon as possible." and ran after Donald and Goofy.
Goofy and Donald looked back at Del for a moment, nodded, then hurried after Iris.
Del closed her eyes, trying to contact Roxas.'Roxas... can you hear me...? It's me... Del.'
Roxas slowly opened his eyes, his world filled with pain. He groaned pitifully and tried to lift himself from the floor. 'Del...'
Roxas, are you okay!? Where are you at!?
Roxas slowly began to lift himself onto his knees. 'Del...you have...to leave...Please...they'll kill you...'
'I'm NOT leaving my little brother to be tortured by Organization scum! Delirium said simply.
A new voice entered into Delirium's head. 'They're not torturing him anymore, Del. He's with me. Xail has gone to find Smoke, so I'd be careful. She may find you.'
Delirium's eyes widened. 'Aya!?'
Aya sat by Roxas, trying to soothe his pain. 'Yep. He's in bad shape...but I don't know what to do. I heard Axel was around here somewhere...but I haven't seen him either.'
'What all did they do to Roxas!?'
Aya sighed. 'Cut him, beat him, shocked him, whipped him, and froze him...' she replied sadly. 'I'm sorry I couldn't stop it.'
Delirium clenched her fists in anger. 'Those bastards... Aya stay with him. We'll be over there as soon as we can. If they come let me know immediately.'
'Of course, Del.' Aya replied. She looked down sadly at Roxas and began to clean him up.
Delirium immeditly reached Axel next. 'Axel, Aya's here. She's with Roxas... and he's not doing to good by the sounds of it...'
'What?! Is...is he okay? Is he alive?'
Delirium sighed. 'Yes but he's in alot of pain...'
'Well...Aya's a healer. Perhaps she can help...I may need her as well...' Axel replied painfully.
'What happened to you!? Are you okay!?'
Axel paused before answering. 'Smoke,' he said simply.
Delirium's eyes widen. 'Where you at!?'
'One of the platforms...above the main hall.'
'Hang on just a little longer, Axel. I'm coming to get you out of there.'
Axel dodged one of Smoke's attacks, jumping back. 'Alright...I'll hold him off a bit longer...'
Smoke grabbed him by the throat and hoisted him up, "You're pathetic..." and slammed him into a wall.
Axel cried out in pain as his back smashed into the wall. "I've held you off this long!" he yelled. "Besides...I think I have you and your buddies figured out..."
Smoke tightened his grip on Axel's neck, "Really now?"
Delirium came to a halt when she reached the locked doors, "I hate locked doors...." She muttered as she took a few steps back. She then charged up as much teleketic engery as possible and kicked down the doors, "Axel!?" she yelled, entering the main hall.
"Yeah," Axel said with a grin. He heard the doors open and heard Del call his name. "DEL!!" he yelled loudly.
Smoke tighted his grip even more, "Shut up, weakling."
Delirium down, seeing him on the lower platform, "Axel!" She started going towards him, jumping from platform to platform.
Axel began to choke in Smoke's grasp. He smirked at the man. "You think...I don't know..." he choked out, "...about Aya...?"
Smoke smirked, "You have become more intelligent." He chuckled, tightening his grip even more.
'Del, hurry! I can't breathe!!' Axel glared at Smoke, kicking his legs out at the creature.
"LET HIM GO!!!" Delirium yelled, she jumped down, slamming her fist into the ground, sending a blast straight into somke.
It didn't harm him, but it did cause him to drop Axel. He whirled around and glared at Delirium. "You wish to die insted? fine," He hissed going over to her.
She quickly backed away from him as he advanced toward her.
Axel quickly got to his feet and sent a wave of flame directly towards Smoke. "Keep away from her!!" he yelled. His entire body was doused in flame as he glared at the creature.
This distracted Smoke just long enough to have Delirium run over to Axel.
Axel looked at Delirium. "We can't beat him now. Do you trust me? A pyro and hot head?" He held out his hand to her.
Delirium took his hand, "Of course I do."
Axel pulled her close and picked her up, jumping off of the platform with her to the main hall far below. He landed hard on his feet, going to one knee and wincing. He set her down on her feet. He grinned. "Okay, so I'm not just a hot head...I like to show off too."
"That's a no duh." She said with a grin.
He stood. "Let's go get Roxas. Lead the way."
