Herec is a lesson on infinitive verbs (well some of them) Since I'm low on time I won't add too many at first but in time I'll have a lot. I know some bad ones but I won't teach you these ^-^ (against the rules) If you want to know some I'll give out a link in the future.

Now, here are two special verbs:
Ser- To be
Estar- to be
Alright, these two can be complicated to a
lot of people. Two ways to say 'to be'? What sense has that? It has one. And it's not that difficult. You'll only need to think a little before using them.
Ser is to be used for those things that
permanently are, or are going to be that way for a long time.
Examples:
· Yo soy una mujer (I am a woman) -> it would be very strange if that changed.
· Tú eres un estudiante (you are a student) -> it probably will change when you're not a student anymore, but you're going to be one for a long while.
· La casa es blanca (the house is white) -> it could change, but it will probably stay that way a long time.
Estar has to be used for those things that are
temporarily that way.
Examples:
· Yo estoy enferma (I am sick) -> this state will eventually stop, either when I recover or when I die.
· La sopa está caliente (the soup is hot) -> this will also change when the soup gets colder.
· Tú estás aburrido (you are bored) -> he won't stay bored forever, right?
We'll continue working with these verbs later...
