The Castle of Mileke
The fairy poet takes a sheet
of moonbeam, silver white;
His ink is dew from daisies sweet,
His pen a point of light.
My love I know is fairer far
Than his, (though she is fair,)
And we should dwell where fairies are,
For I could praise her there.
Joyce Kilme - In Fairyland
The center of House Dikara looks so much like a fairytale castle that one might think it was the inspiration for them all. Made of pure marble so white it almost glows, its countless towers and turrets soar into the sky. Huge lead-glass windows fill the walls, and the rooftops are red as blood. Dragons have been known to nest among some of the towers, and often befriend some of the inhabitants.
Inside huge hallways and lofty rooms allow the perpetual air of spring to blow through the entire castle. Colorful tapestries adorn the walls, changing their images every few hours. The place has so many windows that no room is ever dark, and several rooms have flowers growing out of the walls and floor. There are also numerous discreet rooms where secret romances or hidden flings can take place, or where shady deals can be brokered.
