"well, about that." Oliver said pulling his phone out of his pocket and holding it up. The phone looked like it had been through a war of it's own, "On my way back to my car I took a tumble down a hill and broke it. Sireen called Lucas and advised him that you were heading back here. And I haven't had a chance to go and replace this one."
Sam sighed and gave a roll of her eyes, “Fine come inside and we will talk.” She headed up the stairs and unlocked the door. Next, she put in the alarm code and looked around for Briana.
Oliver followed behind her, "Nice place."
Sam heard voices from the kitchen, Briana being one of them and the other was an older woman with a thick brooklyn accent. "Sam? That you?" Briana called.
“Yea we have company from the office here too.” She called to Briana.
Briana walked out of the kitchen with a woman in her sixties behind her, "Samantha this is Leslie Timms, she just interviewed for the housekeeper position." Leslie smiled wide and offered her hand to Sam, "I hope you approve of my resume, I would love to have the chance to work in such a lovely home."
Samantha looked at Briana her eyes wide as she wasn’t expecting to have anyone here yet. “Nice to meet you Leslie.” She shook the woman’s hand and gave her the appropriate attention. “I will review your resume shortly, has Briana gave you the grand tour?”
"She did and a wonderful house it is." Leslie said looking at Briana who in turn was looking at Oliver.
“Bri I have a good feeling about Ms. Timms. Go discuss pay and start date.” Sam instructed and gave a pat on Brianas shoulder.
Briana smiled, "Very well, aren't you going to introduce your friend?"
“Ladies meet Oliver Lake. He is a gentleman from the office that I attend. He’s agreed to come help me with some things.” She turned and gestures toward Oliver whom she prayed was polite. “Oliver this is Briana and my new housekeeper Ms. Timms.”
Oliver smiled, "Hello."
Briana gave Sam that look like
"This is the guy?" then turned to Leslie, "Well, if Sam says you got the job then let's go back and finish up the paperwork."
Sam gave her a look in return but then turned to Oliver, “Come on.” She said as she led him to the elevator to go up to her room.
