Description: Driven by balance and karma, inspired by mythical nature and ceremonial display, backed by faith in fate and virtue... this Chinese dragon clasping the yin-yang both serves and reflects upon those revelations as well as originally being gift art for someone whom I'll always hold close to my heart.

2010-04-14 [*Phoenix*]: I must say that I like this one the best so far. :]

2010-04-15 [Hendercrazy]: Thanks [*Phoenix*] :D That seems to be the general census I'm getting from family and friends as well. :)

2010-04-16 [*Phoenix*]: Welcomes. heehe.. Nice. ^_^

2010-06-05 [Hendercrazy]: Went out to eat for lunch today and decided to take this pic with me. Retouched/finalized the line art to satisfaction... so it's now ready for scanning. :D I'm pretty jazzed about coloring this one digitally. I'd originally started coloring it traditionally at one point; year before last... but I believe I'll be much happier with the result this time around. :D

2010-06-07 [organicparadox]: this one is absolutely fabulous brah. really digging every square inch of it with one exception. the left arm and yingyang. i understand the significance of its placement in relation to the rest of the composition, but it looks so 'removed' from the rest of the body's clean lines and symmetry. keep us updated!

2010-06-07 [Hendercrazy]: Thanks brother! :) I do see what you're saying with the arm. However, this was the best solution I had with the overall design because it has some hidden motifs and meaningful/sentimental symbolism stuff going on in it that was intended only for the special person this was gift art for. Only she knows what they are and what they represent. ;)

2010-06-08 [*Phoenix*]: That's awesome with the whole gift-symbolism-etc stuff.
