Welcome to The

School for Beginning Roleplayers

Here, people who are new to roleplaying can be taught, and people who know how can get better. The best part? It is personal and all hands-on. I, [~Valkyrie~], believe that the best learning comes from doing, and so I have created this wiki, where we can teach those who wish to learn, by actually roleplaying with them. We teach multiple roleplay styles, as well as basic roleplay etiquette, how to avoid "god-moding" and "power-playing", etc. We can also suggest roleplays for our students to get involved in and teach them how to go about setting up one of their own.

Anyone who is interested merely has to add their username to the list of our students, with the username of the instructor that they wish to learn with. The instructor will send a private message in order to discuss further instructions and what is to be taught.

Please note: I set up this wiki because I know there are people here on Elftown who are curious about roleplaying but don't know how to play or how to get into a game. If you are not interested in either helping with this wiki or being a student on this wiki I would appreciate it if you didn't leave your comments.

Instructors:

Angel teaches character creation and basic roleplaying, including many basic styles found here on Elftown, as well as basic combat and etiquette.

[ZeoOfFire]
Zeo teaches basic roleplaying, his emphasis is on basic roleplaying etiquette, including proper grammar and spelling.

[Hiuko]
Hiuko teaches basic roleplaying, combat, character development, character flexibility, and character creation.

[twitchboy]
Twitch specializes in combat and story interactions with other RPers as well as character and story crafting.

2011-11-21 [kians mummy]: Well anything you wish for me to do, I am a volunteer on another Heddate site, I do polls and also edit the official wikis if they have any miss spelling.

2011-11-21 [~Valkyrie~]: Well, unless you would like to help teach, the only other thing I can think of that we need right now is finding students. I've referred people, asked friends to pass the word along, and this wiki has even been featured. So far, though, all we've gotten are a couple of students, a short fiasco with Mort, and one congrat on being featured, lol.
