Summary:Kwani lives an extraordinary life. Review: I always start these reviews thinking “This was a great book!” but by the time I finish writing the summary, I wonder why the heck I liked the book. :/
All in all, She Who Remembers is a nice little story, a good diversion from the problems of your real life. Based loosely on history, it's pretty interesting to read how the author thinks people lived back then, and Shuler paints a vivid picture of the places in her book. It isn't hard to become immersed in the story, but I found the main character a little hard to sympathize with. To me she seemed to alternate between a frightened child (understandable given the crap she was going through), an arrogant bitch, and a fraud. **Shrugs**
