1. Stale ordors collect in the house. You can't smell them but others can.
2. The man who runs the little sidewalk stand where you buy hotdogs spends his winters in Acapulco.
3. The Super Bowl never lives up to the pregame hoopla.
4. There is no such thing as American flu.
5. If you begin feeding the birds, don't stop or they will all die and blame you.
6. Hypothermia strikes without warning and often is fatal. You can get it by just going out to check the mailbox.
7. If you fall through the ice, you have about three seconds to get out alive.
8. There are more snow tire commercials on television than are necessary.
9. People secretly enjoy getting holiday cards with mimeographed newsletters in them, even though they say they don't.
10. You never have windshield solvent when you really need it.
