This is going to be a fairly intense Role play and commitment is a necessity. Rather than a typical RP, this particular RP will take shape as more of a novel written by several authors, and I will be saving this role play as a document as we go. Please don't be intimidated...it's not as strict or crazy as it looks. Anyone who has RPed with me, and even participated in Mythology Colliseum can attest that I'm actually really laid back when it comes to RPing and GMing. If you have participated in Mythology Colliseum, I'm trying to make this RP a bit more organized and defined.

Previously, there has been little to no interest in this RP, leaving the below character list unfulfilled and hence delaying the start of the RP. Once we are able to fill all spots we can begin. For the meantime, please be aware that although your character may be accepted, the actual RP may not begin for some time. If you know anyone who would be a good fit, please let them know. The Characters

I am looking for specific characters to enter into the RP. It may look a bit unusual and maybe even a little intimidating how I have set up the characters for this RP, but I assure you it isn't as odd as it looks. Basically, below are the "character skeletons" of some characters necessary to begin. They are unnamed, and the personality and back story is pretty much up to the player. Just make sure to incorporate the elements listed below for the character you are applying for. Each character will get their own arch and will be, at least one point in time, the main character. Any additional characters will need to be cleared with me and their necessity to the story must be addressed in the message. Yes, a player can have multiple characters. And remember, have fun, make the characters your own!

The List

1. Male. Can be in his mid 20s to late 30s, even up to early 40s if you wish. Ninja. Long time rival of Kirito. will be wounded shortly after the beginning from his mission. Will have a lot of interaction with Kirito.

2. Male. Young adult/teen. Training in mastering the sword.

3. FULFILLED CHARACTER.

4. FULFILLED CHARACTER.

5. Male. Young adult/teen. Acquaintance of Male #2 (could be enemy, could be best friend - up to the player). Slightly older than Male #2.

The Plot

This is still being ironed out. The setting will be Japan, possibly the late 1700s or early 1800s. The new imperial government is rather corrupt, and the ways of old are disappearing fast. If the ways of yesterday are lost, each character stands to lose something. They begin the story separate, but very quickly come together, realizing that they need one another much more than they would ever had thought. The reason this plot description is so vague is because of two reasons: 1) This RP is in the early planning stages and 2) I'd like the players to give their characters their reason for fighting for what they believe in, rather than me handing it to them.
