Musical Stew

Since the theme of this issue is "The Music of Life" I thought, what better recipe than one that will actually help to CREATE some music! So, without further ado, I bring to you...


Musical Stew


Ingredients
Half a cabbage
Half a packet of frozen peas
1 tin of baked beans
A few pieces of broccoli
A few pieces of cauliflower
4-6 Brussels sprouts


Method
1. Cook the cabbage either in a steamer on the stove, or in a microwave cooker. Make sure you haven't cooked it too much, otherwise it will go limp.
2. Cook the frozen peas either in a saucepan of boiling water or in a cooker in the microwave.
3. Cut the brussels sprouts into quarters and cook with the pieces of broccoli and cauliflower in a steamer on the stove or in a microwave cooker.
4. Pour the tin of baked beans into a saucepan and heat until it is just starting to boil. Add the cooked vegies and stir. Cook for 1 more minute to allow the flavours to mix.
5. Serve up and enjoy... but remember that this stew has MUSICAL RESULTS!!
