Harry Potter And the Goblet of Fire
Movie Reviewed By: [Jeed]
Good Day all Harry Potter fans! This new movie, based off the popular book series, has done it again, making not only the visuals in our imaginations come alive, but to make them real. Being an
avid HP fan, this movie was a delight to watch, and at the end nearly brought me to tears. As I've seen it said in other news bulletins, the Harry Potter movies only get better, and this new addition to the series,
The Goblet of Fire, not only proves that but adds to it as well. This movie was phenomenal, I only walked out of the theatre 20 minutes ago, and I'm still smiling like an idiot.
The Plot- In general, the plot was very close to the book. They kept all the important events in the script, while adding some of the better parts we all dismiss. Although I do say they left out some good parts, the story all together was very well represented in the movie, and still brings emotion to the fans.
The Cast- As usual, the main characters have their parts, though there were numerous additions I do say the casting director did well on. The part of Mad Eye Moody I was pleasantly surprised on though, he was a bit more... rotund than I would have imagined him! But that aside, Brendan Gleeson played him extremely well, the famous character was not a disappointment and I hope to see him in the upcoming movies.
The durmstrang gang was just plain awesome, casting did such a wonderful job there! Krum was played perfectly, as was the death eater who will remain nameless (oh you all know who he is). I loved their entrance, those staffs were awesome, the Beauxbatons were to die for (kudos to the costume director on that one) and all in all, the casting was again impeccable.
The Set - Finally, they put the Hogwarts grounds in proportion.
It was magnificant, it took my breath away. Although I had always pictured the owl tower as attached to the castle for some reason, no movie set can ever be what
everyone imagined when reading the book. Either way, it was still awesome. The stages for the tri-wizard tournament were very well done also, the maze was impeccable.
This movie was extremely well done, and I highly reccommend you all go see it, it was a pleasure to watch, and I would watch it ten more times if I could.
