Appearance
– Can look like anything, usually comprise metal, plastic and/or possibly some organic parts.
Abilities
– Anthropoids aren't affected by telepathy, but can take a little bit of electric damage from it.
– Depending on their installed sensors, they can perceive (and often emit) nearly all kinds of electromagneti
c radiation, magnetic fields, sound waves and pressure.
– Anthropoids are subject to strict protocols and maintenance. They are usually made for a specific purpose with no personality. Anthropoids who have a personality, very complex programming and possibly some living brain tissue tend to live like normal people but they can't have privileges beyond normal, in fact many of them only have the privileges of minors.
Culture
– Anthropoids might have the culture and opinions of the programmer. In some cases they have the views that are appropriate for the purpose they were made for.
– Cyborgs are often people who have been in a serious accident and have been restored to (partly) mechanic/cybernetic bodies. They can be nearly normal like the non-cybernetic members of their species.
Stats and special abilities
+1 to any stat every two levels. Minimum stats:
HP – 10
CC – 50
TEL – -5
INT – 1
CHA – 1
ACC – 1
SPD – 1
STR – 1
CON – 1
Stat points to be freely distributed: 19
Typical stats:
HP – 10
CC – 50
TEL – -5
INT – 5
CHA – 4
ACC – 4
SPD – 4
STR – 4
CON – 4
Mechanical – Anthropoids and cyborgs are slightly more resistant to certain types of damage (+20 % damage from heat and electricity, -20 % damage from kinetic/cutting and explosive/pressure damage, -10 damage from cold and laser). Anthropoids don't need sleep, but need to have their batteries recharged. Cyborgs can sleep to recharge their batteries (half the time slower).
Non-telepathic – Can't learn telepathy. Telepathic attacks cause only a little electrical damage to androids.
Sligthly telepathic – Originally telepathic cyborgs might regain very little control over their original abilities. Of course this applies only if many parts of the brain have been compromised; minimal or no damage to the brain usually does not impair telepathy.
