Tekeonia System Information

Kaopilutans (here are your basic anthropomorphs!)

Appearance

– Kaopilutans resemble animals much more than any of other humanoid species, but they are all bipedal.
– They have very much variation among their own, similar to how much variation any mammals have on other planets; the different variations are commonly called races. Yet they're able to reproduce freely among themselves.
– All are similar to mammals by the way in which they reproduce and feed their young.
– Despite them being mammalian, some races have reptile- and bird-like features, such as beaks, scales and feathers.
– Female and male kaopilutans are remarkably similar – to other species. In general, males are larger than females, but when it comes to those with reptilian or avian features, or if the general size of the race is small, the females are generally larger. Of course there are exceptions within the race types as well as individuals.

Main races (all translated for easy comprehension)
These are the races that are most numerous on Kaopiluta. There are others as well. (The ones here are approximated for human language. The actual kaopilutans might have slightly different appearance and/or abilities.)
– Felidae: cat, cheetah, puma, tiger
– Canidae: wolf, coyote, fox
– Rodentia: gerbil, rat, bat, beaver, squirrel
– Lagomorpha: rabbit, hare, pika
– Ave: sparrow, hawk, owl, emu, parrot
– Sauropsia: crocodile, chameleon, turtle, frog, pterosaur, velociraptor
Due to the difference of the races, also their sizes vary. However, nearly all of them are within 1–3 meters tall. The smallest ones of the above (sparrow, bat, gerbil and frog) are all just above 1 meter in height. The largest ones (tiger, crocodile, pterosaur and velociraptor) are 2,5–3 meters tall. Only very few individuals in the recorded history of the kaopilutans have been smaller than 60 cm or larger than 5 m. Even in the extreme cases the individuals had been on the edge of invalidity and had not, in fact, lived long.

Abilities

– Standard lifespan is 70 Terra years. A person under the age of 18 is a minor.
– All kaopilutans have one or more enchanced senses (usually smell, taste, hearing and infrared vision).
– The different kaopilutan races have slightly different abilities (such as flight, hibernation, carnivorism, infrared vision, etc.). Even the halfbreeds are perfectly valid individuals, though when the parents are very different in race type, the racial abilities tend to milden.
– They are just as smart as most other species but tend to lack very abstract creativity.

Culture

– Kaopilutans are very evolutionistic. They kill their invalids without mercy, unless the invalids are clearly fit enough to live, in which case they're let to live but they aren't allowed to reproduce.
– Despite the previous point, nearly all of them agree that their raw planet or the Big Bang was created by some god-like creature(s) and they constantly argue about the number and nature of these god-like creatures among each other. The most popular version is that a proto-animal god laid an egg from which the universe hatched.

Stats and special abilities

Bonus to any stat every two levels. Minimum stats:
HP – 10
CC – 70
TEL – -7
INT – 1
CHA – 2
ACC – 2

INT – 3
CHA – 4
ACC – 4
SPD – 4

Non-telepathic – Kaopilutans are naturally non-telepathic and can't learn telepathy.

Genetic resistance – Kaopilutans were so effective in their "natural" selection that they have next to none random mutations, meaning that while they are generally physically more superior and evolve at a faster pace, they do not have individuals with any extraordinarily special abilities and their mental evolution has been slightly slow.
