On the navy cruiser, ask the officer for all medicines , ammo, and cure-c's. As many as he has.

Discard items you don't need in order to collect more supplies. Save your game before actually going out to fight the U.B. This will save you from having to go in and collect medicine and ammo from the navy officer each time you die, if at all.

When fighting the 1st. U.B. equip the CLUB3 and hit it to [1] save ammo and [2] to collect a full recover or ammo. Dodging his attacks are simple since he is so far away from you half the time which gives you plenty of time to react. Baby UB's attack of throwing out a circular type beam will never even touch you if you keep your distance from him. His other attack is to go down on the floor and use a power which takes all but 1HP. If the little bugger does get you with that attack, save your Full Recovers and try using two HEAL3s (only if you have your M8000 equipped).
