The Four Circles

A fantasy role-play by [Rock Thine World]

In the realm of Futro, the Council of Magi argue constantly about the threat of war from the Etherealm. Almost half of the Council, led by Arch-magi Yurion, wish to build up the border defenses with the Etherealm, trying to avoid full conflict with the peoples of that land. The others - led by Head of the House of Ignus, Lord Werian - are pushing for a pre-emptive strike, to catch the enemy off guard.

Meanwhile, while the Council of Magi lock themselves in their palace during their "negotiations", the land of Futro is locked in a civil war, as the Barons and Baronesses of the counties sway towards different allegiances with the Council. Amidst this, the forest dwelling people of the Brovanni exclude themselves from the ridiculous warring, and instead guard their forest roads and villages from any who would disturb their peace, causing trading difficulties.

In the Etherealm, the Etherians know of the Council's unrest, and although some are preparing the legions for an attack while Futro is in a state of confusion, the Angeli of the Etherealm are secretly moving for peace.

But what are the Four Circles? The Council of Magi know, and Lord Werian is secretly searching for them. What is his interest in these omens from an ancient poem?

The Four Circles is a fantasy role-play set in a fictional world, free-roaming and with an emphasis on sandbox role-playing! There is of course a storyline that characters will get involved in, but side-quests and separate stories are encouraged. If you are interested, see these pages:

2007-09-11 [Rock Thine World]: Rules, character and artwork pages all done now. The world is being created as I type, and hopefully by the time we have a couple of people applying, we can start playing too! Let your friends know this page is ready for applications!

2007-09-11 [Rock Thine World]: Phew, a lot of work still to go on getting the game beginning for any quick character creators - Nordshire and Storm Coast of Futro are ready, but all the other counties and countries are still awaiting my work, which I hopefully will get on to, and then the prettying up of the pages.
