The Geek's Comments
Greetings and welcomes to La La Land, the place where I go to write my poetry. Please read and entertain yourself with the musings of a leftwardly inclined individual, as I continue to place the opinions of my heart, mind, and soul within these solemn pages.

Harvest Moon
When the time should arise,
Noted by the woodland cries,
That Nature lives in the month of June:
Thou should not be so surprised,
It’s under the light of the Harvest Moon.
When creatures jump and laugh and play,
And frolic in the fields all day,
In harmony with Gia’s tune:
Thou should truly hope and pray,
It’s under the light of the Harvest Moon.
When nymphs and satyrs each appear,
Taking form from the shape of deer,
And gather together to drink and spoon:
Thou should listen and hear them cheer,
It’s under the light of the Harvest Moon.
And when the creatures fade from view,
And the Earth-born spirits settle back under dew,
Because the sun will rise again soon:
Thou should remember why this night is true,
It’s under the light of the Harvest Moon.
